  1. Through means not important, I found this thread by chance and I have to comment. As a huge original Nintendo fan, this is just fantastic, it's so pleasing to look at. You also NAILED the proportions on the controllers, and the system. The tetris pieces are perfectly proportionate and you even made cords, that PLUG IN!!!! Seriously awesome work, this is worth a bump, more people need to see this.
  2. I get sad when there isn't much new content Glad to see more people fully utilizing this place.
  3. Hmmm, it looks like it's cool, but those pictures are so dark. Any chance you could retake them with a flash or in some sunlight?
  4. Who knows the story behind it though, maybe it's from a really cold white planet, in which the orange lens would really help brighten things up.
  5. OK, Now I have to wait for the new shuttle to come out with another new emperor, so I'm not sure if my answer will change. This topic is impossible. More like what are your top 20, now that would be easier to answer.
  6. A PM (personal message) would be my best suggestion. Although I do think you need 10 posts before you are able to use the PM system. I would suggest making some usefull comments on some peoples creations, but current ones.
  7. I think the design or class is in the eye of the beholder. i think this looks right at home in a cold setting.
  8. For an efficiant production plant like I am almost positive a succesful company like LEGO would have, this is not that hard to imagine. They probably have a macine that dumps the certain pieces to a scale, which measures it in a second or two and then dumps it back to an assembly line type of setup and bagged. it's obviously more complicated than that but if you ever watch shows like, "How it's made" you can see that steps like weighing don't take much time at all.
  9. I look forward to seeing you there. Along with the Pirate forum be sure to check out classic-pirates.com as well. many EB creations can be found there.
  10. Well let me step back about 20 years and I'll let you know what I used to collect. X-Men Cable Superman and lots of random ones that I can't remember. I never did find my old comics, I'm not quite sure what ever happened to them. I'd love to find them, and sell them for LEGO money.
  11. Very well thought out. As mentioned, the leave really add's to the feel that R2 just got out of a swamp. Another winner from fenris!
  12. As does Brickset, most of the time. My apologizes on the bricklink referance, I misunderstood what we were talking about.
  13. With LEGO nowadays it's hit or miss, if they make the design you want in China, then you have a decision to make.
  14. The SW line hasn't been afraid to show women in less than full clothing so I can see her retaining her outfit until she dies, which she clearly does at one point. As for LEGO, I don't see them making a different design for her unless they really lay it on thick in the series.
  15. Holy cow, that's dedication.
  16. I'm sure bricklink would give you a good idea of prices.
  17. You realize this thread is from a year and a half ago right? Still the OP is active so maybe he'll come through. It is quite impressive.
  18. I like it, it reminds me of a ship in the HALO video game. The colors are not my favorite but it works very well, just not my personal preferance. The slanted nose technique is very appealing.
  19. This is purely my opinion as most posts in this thread are. But I personally think one or the other. I love classic yellow, I mena hello, it's what a LEGO fig should be. On the other had I love the flesh guys becasue they are more accurate. Since flesh is probably not as abundant as yellow, I think it depends on what you are building. personally though, I would'nt mix them in my designs.
  20. I have never heard of this ever. I'm blown away. Any chance you could take a 1x4 brick and take a picture of it next to a regular LEGO 1x4 brick? I'm very intreaged by this.
  21. You should not have had to request it twice and the random parts the first time seems like a ridiculous move on LEGO's part but I would understand if they were a bit hesitant at first. I believe you, but you must realize how suspicious that request must have sounded to the LEGO rep.
  22. At least it gives you an idea of where to price it.
  23. I didn't know that the Mando's were going to be in the future SW clone ars episodes. I'm horribly behind. I agree they would sell well and would be easily known my Jango or Boba. IF they weren't going to be in the series, I think it wouldn't make sense since otherwise why would they give you more than one boba. But with the CW series, this changes everything.
  24. Sounds like it just the fact of a wrong torso getting in the wonrg batch, it will of course weigh the same and no one would really notice.
  25. I think that's very possible, in fact that's a great idea. With the dual face in the freeco speeder which I love but think is unecessary, it seems like a big possibility in the wampa set.
