Holy crap, that's awesome. I love the way the whole front canopy opens up, and it really looks like a fire truck, with the taller cab. A huge improvement over the one in the set you pointed out!!!

I don't mean to sound rude but I don't like it. it seems so blocky (ironic I know it's lego). The overhangs on the bumpers are actually touching the ground, there are no doors. I guess I'm just not a fan. The color scheme is nice though and Vader in anything always helps.

My local target and wal-mart FINALLY have the new sets but that darn land speeder is always sold out, but at least there is a spot for it.

Love it!!! The roof technique is really cool. I love the lost island feel. This reminds me of an official set, only way better, but I can't think of the set. LEGO should have made a set like this. Fantastic work!!!

I just stopped at Wal-Mart to get oil to change the oil on my car and my wifes adn to my surprise they had some indie sets so I picked up Chauchilla Cemetery Battle and Ambush in Cairo Woot, I'm on a spending spree lately.

The iphone is badass don't get me wrong, they just ruiend their market by only selling to AT&T for so long, they have the crappiest network ever. The droid has tons of applications, obviously not as many as the iphone but again, the iphone has been around a few years, the droid is brand new and the google marketplace is also fairly new. In time almost any app for the iphone will be available on the droid. On a droid forum I visit, almost every day there is a thread saying, remember that cool app from your iphone, well now it's on the droid. The best part is the fact that it's open source, where the iphone is not. Plsu it was only $100 after my new every 2 deal throughv verizon and Verizons coverage is simply the best. Shadows, if this thread really hurts your feel goods it can be closed. I understand.

I've never been much of a fan of the technic sets but they did nail this one. And your review is more than complimetary tot eh set, so many great detailed pics.

Great setup, but I noticed you don't touch on the jedi or have a separate picture of him.

I've been going battle pack crazy. In the last few days I've bought 3 of the toy story green army men packs. 2 rebel snow battle packs 2 imperials snow battle packs and the freeco speeder. Sorry for the poor naming, I'm just too lazy to go get the set numbers I guess.

I think alot of us are in the same boat. My bike is collecting dust in the corner of my cold garage.
