  1. You kow, I feel like a fool for not thinking of this. When I decided to take apart my Black Seas Barracuda set after 20 years, I cleaned each piece with a rag and hot soapy water, I carefully got the rag ends through each stud. Took me days.
  2. I try not to post simple posts like I sgree, and I came into this thread wanting to add my thoughts, but honestly I just plain agree with you. A cap doesn't make sense. No other toy does this. A mnimum age is on evrything for safety reasons, but to my knowledge, LEGO is the only one with a cap on age. Very interesting, I hope someone knows why. EDIT: I did a bit of searching and everything I find sahys it's an age suggestion that the set was designed for, whether it's an actual age limit or suggestion, I still think it's odd that LEGO thinks adults are not interested in LEGO, at least with their age ratings.
  3. Honestly, I've never got a LEGO set I didn't like, I mean worst case scenario, you have a new bunch of pieces for MOC'ing.
  4. It's great to see MOC's already popping up with new Pharoahs Quest stuff. I really lik your action shots, the depth really makes it look good.
  5. I'm not quit sure I see the point of this thread? All if not most of these things have been talked about in their respective forums. The new alarm clocks even got frontpaged, as well as series 3 figs. The new police dog set already has a review in the town forum.
  6. I will almost guarantee you that no, they will not be flesh heads for regular pirates. Even to this day TLG has maintained all of their own lines as yellow fig's, and left the flesh action to the specific license themes. There is no reason for a flesh color in non-licensed themes, because there is no one for them to emmulate. So I without a doubt say NO, they won't keep flesh moving past PotC.
  7. I could see a forum just for miscellaneous MOC's but that would kind of fall into the General forum I think.
  8. I realy like the new dog mold, it add's more life to it than the old mold. I also like the new truck better, it makes more sense for it to open from the side. A great review, and your first at that! keep up the good work.
  9. Then every new semi-theme would want one. Currently all the sub-forums are for actual LEGO products, or licenses rather. There has to be a line somewhere.
  10. I was under the impression that the media tags only worked on youtube videos? I've never seen a flickr video embedded anywhere on the internet to be honest.
  11. Great review, you are quickly becoming our resident Bionicle, errr, HERO Factory reviewer. As you know I'm not a huge fan of these sets, but I love a good review., and tis figure actually looks pretty cool.
  12. I absolutely love what you did with the perspective view, that is really cool. I could see this scene being in a movie no problem.
  13. Ugh, I was almost hoping youy didn't have a source. Sounds like bad news for the minifig collectors. One thing that bothers me is the LEGO rep supposedly said the Licensed themes were thinking of doing this. Pharoah's Quest is LEGO's own, is it not? Lets hope it was a fluke.
  14. I wonder if that was prateek This was a good laugh. I like how he did this prank call, just for a LEGO film. Hilarious.
  15. This is definetaly outside the norm, but I think iot was done very tastefully. The studi lights look really good and your deathstar model looks cool. I think my favorite part is C3-P0 with his head off, very clever.
  16. I haven't heard anything about this. Who bought this glued magnet. Do you have any credible sources? Also I think this is more than just SW related, this should probably be in general discussion.
  17. I think besides the heads all being the same, their outfits look quite appropriate for elves. I think you have a nice little ambush fleet of elves.
  18. I see you in my profile.

  19. I think the store should subtract the discount from the returned money, it'd be in their best interest. If you read all the posts, you'll find that oky wan kenobi has in fact done this. I have a feeling this would not be successful in all stores as management differs greatly from store to store.
  20. I'm not familiar with the big guy, but that smaller exo-skeleton type walker with the gattling gun is just too cool. The big guy looks like the type of creation that the Expanded Universe would whip up. Nice work.
  21. Really cool, I thought it was going to be in real LEGO which was a bit of a dissapointment, but I think the design is practically perfect. Do you plan to build it? Even if you don't, it looks great.
  22. You did a fantastic job on that LOGO. Getting it to look like what appears to be to scale. It's awesome! Great work!
  23. I love the violin case, thats so original. Also your sleigh is a great use of those whips. Two techniques I've never seen before!
  24. I agree it's average and a bit overpriced, but those wings are awesome. I think at $20 it's a good deal, think , the battle packs for SW were $10.99 and those were way less than this. FOr what it is, I think it's ok. Great review Brickster! Classic Brickster reviewing style!
  25. Not quite. I'm not staff. Bingo Bango, I'm just a hard working Pirate Blogger Your post count has drawn attention to you. I learned early on posts aren't everything.
