Oh boy, this is getting me excited for the new pirate fig's.
-
I do not think I qualify for this yet. I'll keep trying
-
It looks like it could be cool, but the pictures are awfully blurry. Keep on MOC'ing though, it looks good.

Beastie Boys - Make some noise. Their newest single, I've been a Bboy fan since the early 90's

Where are you located? there is an online store in Canada that has a good deal on sealed boxes, I got a Series 4 box for $200USD, which comes out to about $3.50 per fig, which is only about .50 cents more than retail stores. CMDstore.com

Fantastic tutorial Admiral Croissant, I think this will really help out a lot of people and maybe open the doors for more people doing custom sails. I think the most beneficial part for me is the bit about the scale and coloring, what a brilliant idea about soaking it in tea or coffee. Thanks AC

LuxorV this is an awesome review. The classic-ness of this set is just lovely. It's so easy to just fall in love with this set. You're review is outstanding as well, the pictures are so clear and the review is just solid. You've really polished your reviewing skills

Wow, your accuracy is amazing. Even if the picture wasn't there, this is outstanding and looks as good as an actual LEGO set. Since you did put the picture next to it, it makes it even more impressive. Awesome work.

Well, let me say welcome home! We are all LEGO fans here, and I think a few of us will openly admit to being nerds. I have the 1989 BSB from my childhood collection and it is my most prized LEGO set. I think we'll be seeing a lot of each other if you are a Pirates fan, be sure to check out our blog at www.classic-pirates.com or see the link in my signature. Feel free to ask me any questions about the site, I'd be happy to help. Enjoy!

Ack, plug my ears. Don't tell me any more about the movie! This movie is going to kick megablocks. -
Thanks Erdie. Keybobs, just an fyi I am pretty sure you'll have to sign into the website with Keybobss still, the change is only cosmetic to the display on the boards. Unless Edrie actually changed your login completely, but I don't think that's what they do.

Wow, I think you need to start thinking bigger, like a book shelf.

Personally for me if money was tight, I'd save mine for the new PotC sets, I know the MM had a good piece per dollar ratio, but the new sets look fantastic with so many new pieces and fig's. That's my opinion anyway.

The of official release date and when things show up at Toys R Us, are two separate things. My last LEGO catalog said May 2011, I can only assume that's when they will be available at shop @ home, but obviously they are already showing up at Toys R Us. -
See now this is one of those senario's that I think an admin would be happy to help, I'd log a few more posts (10 are needed to PM) and seems an admin a pm explaining your situation, I have a feeling they would understand and change it for you. I have to completely agree with Izzy here. I for one like simple names, they are easier to write, if your name was brick chucker 19, I'd put probably end up calling you just brick chucker or just chucker.

Hmm, if you have so many they won't fit in a box, then my method may not work for you but here it goes.. I have a few big 3 inch, 3 ring binders, and then you buy the sleeves that are meant for a full size sheet of paper and then put one instruction in each sleeve. You could have a binder for each series or theme.

I think it looks good, due to the bionicle parts, I think it's a little thin, I'd like to see more bulk for an ogre, but I agree the face looks good and besides missing a little bulk, I like the whole thing.

ACPin!?!, he's kind of a big deal, at least in my eyes, he's a bit of a star wars MOC'ing legend, check out some of his work in the star wars forum, you'll like it.

Oh, Pirates for sure, due to the era, plus I'm the Shipyard Master, what I say goes, I suppose. And yes sir Alex, our front page is calling out to this MOC. Awesome work ACpin, I can totally see this coming to life, what a great scene. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] It'll be up around the 17th.

That is why I'm so fond of it, I love finding new uses for existing pieces, especially when it makes so much sense. I must say nice work again, I enjoy this MOC.

God to know they are showing up. They may be in the overpriced Toys R Us stores, but at least if you really want it, it's available. -

Why Can't I Add a Poll to My Thread?

Oh, too bad, I didn't get you an answer sooner, whenever you can't do something, someone with moderator abilities probably can.
