I say this with the greatest respect, becasue honestly I love Japan and their culture and all the weird things they do, but I have to say Japan is screwed up if they are selling used panties from schoolgirls probably well under 18.

Now, lets not get carried away. I on the other hand must have at least one complete set form each series, and it's becoming rather expensive. I'm all for series 5 and maybe 1 or 2 more, but honestly I kind of hope it stops before it gets out of control. Then again, these are the best variety of minifigures we have ever seen, Chinese plastic or not.

I think this is a great set, the 6542 set pictured above was always one my proudest moments as a kid, because I put it together correctly and the crane worked. I'm not currently collecting City sets, but I rate this a 4 out of 5 easily.

I totally agree Aanchir. It would be easy to set up a vending machine of sorts specifically for LEGO that could keep instructions flat.

No, I don't think so, these are bar coded bags, a mix up like that would be noticed and the voodoo fig likely wouldn't show up in their system. It's a rare fig at the moment but it should be going mainstream soon.

Def, I understand where your coming from, but I actually think it's a cool idea. Especially with all those minis in one location.

I think this would be be better asked in the website & forums subforum. Anyway, I am not having this problem, it's doesn't sound like something that would be caused by the forum but rather your browser. I would first try clearing your cache and trying again.

Lets just say that Star Wars brought me out of my dark ages and LEGO is having no problem coming up with more and more themes that I just can't live without, so yes, I've been dabbling everywhere.

I went to mt Toys R Us store and asked about this fig. He was all out but he said the promotion runs through May 24th and it is already up at Toys R Us.com to order as a regular set for $2.99. You can't order it now, but it's listed in the stores system as in stock. He said he is fairly certain once the promo is over you'll be able to order it online or from the store itself. He said this almost always happens with promo bags, and from my experience he's right. So I'd expect these to become available pretty soon.

Without knowing the contents, I don't think that's worth it. It could be mostly common bricks, you never know.

Congratulations you two, I've played with both, and both deserve this for sure! I always thought you had to HOST a game to get that almighty tag, since not, I'm well on my way. We really do need a new mafia game to start though.

Great ship, I like the small details like the crossed swords, stuff like that makes the close up shots worth taking an extra look. I'll be honest I didn't think I liked the white color yesterday when I looked at this, but today I'm singing a different tune, and I liked the story to go with it.

As with all licensed sets you are immediately paying a premium because TLG has to pay for the license. You can bet Disney is getting a cut out of every set you buy. Plus as is often found in licensed sets, you have new molds for exclusive pieces, molds are very expensive and some of that cost has to be passed to the consumer. So in short yes they are more expensive, and there isn't a way around it.
