  1. Great idea! I'll try it when I get home. "Precisely, I'll get home when I try it."
  2. Thanks guys! I've modded an Indy fedora for the Professor, the thing I'm having trouble with is making bowler hats for Thompsons (with a "p" and without). Feel free to use my decals if you do.
  3. Here's my current project, minfig adaptations of the characters from the comic series The Adventures of Tintin: Enjoy! Fun Fact: Tintin is due to be made into a feature film in 2011 directed by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson.
  4. Thankee mateys! Here be me next ingravin' as promised. Fredrick and the Pirate King from The Pirates of Penzance: "With cat-like tread our cautious way we feel, In silence dread upon our prey we steal, No sound at all, we never speak a word, A flies foot-fall would be distinctly heard!" Video .Enjoy!
  5. Sorry, I just like the smileys.
  6. Whenever a see this topic title I misread it as "Pirates of Penzance" Parts for some reason. I guess I need to pay more attention when I'm reading. Speaking of which, I think the Dastan legs with the sash would work well for pirate captains/kings.
  7. I rather like the look of this theme, I might have to pick up a couple of the smaller sets (at least). When are they due to be released? (I seem to be asking that a lot lately )
  8. Alright! Thanks, I think I'll be able to go to the LEGO Store on or after April 1st.
  9. Awesome ship Fire-storm, very inspirational! The rigging looks great. Oh, how many hull mid-sections are there in your ship, sir?
  10. Yes, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/houndknight/3...57615803644761/ It suffers from "stern problems" in my opinion, and I've been planning new, better ship for some time now.
  11. What I meant was that the new windscreen was proof that it's a real set.
  12. I voted for the biplane, to me it seems more interesting and unusual, plus it reminds me of the old Adventurers sets.
  13. Those look great, and the packaging is incredible! I guess I'll have to wait to get some because they seem to be out of stock at the moment.
  14. It seems a pretty good set, several nice details as you mentioned. Thanks for the review!
  15. Everything about this is great, the fort, bridge, landscaping, everything! Keep up the good work!
  16. Very nice job on both MOCs, have you considered putting the gold "caps" on the top of the pyramids?
  17. The title of this topic sounds like you want us to be harsh when we give you advice. (STERN help) Hahaha...ahem..hrm... That's a neat pic, it should be quite helpful to me at least. The ship pictured is the HMS Bounty, correct?
  18. The Hobbits' word for Mumak is Oliphant actually. Does anyone know if these are available at LEGO Stores yet, or will be by next week?
  19. Excellent MOC, I love the shape and how the disk things look on the top.
  20. Very cool, there's some ingenious part usage in this MOC.
  21. From the numerous reviews I've read of this movie I have decided that I probably won't see it, even though I'm a life-long fan of the "Alice" books. It just really annoys me when filmmakers mess with classic books so much trying to make them "better" or "more modern". (Like Prince Caspian)
  22. That's great!
  23. Egad, it walks! Amazing MOC Guss, very interesting design. And, of course, very functional!
  24. Great collection of figures Penguin, excellent work on all of 'em! I was going to mention something about the '60s Batman, but it seems the Riddler beat me to it.
  25. ^ Methinks somebody really likes ostriches. Great set, and great review Ricecracker! Really makes me want to get it now, maybe I can hunt it down at a TRU or LEGO Store somewhere.
