Well, it was a good, no a GREAT run. I beg of you lego please create 4 more lego sets for all four movies, airplane escape (Temple of doom) Brawl in Nepal (Raiders) The Grail Temple (Last Crusade) and campus chase (Skull) But the one set that is a must have in that list in the grail temple. There are many sites that you cans tart up petitions

How did I know that that post would be taken harshly by using capitols, I was simply using that instead of wasting space with a big quote (as I am now ) there was no intention of vertual "yelling". I make writing errors all the time on here, I simply type up my thoughts on the topic at hand, read it over and click "add post" I read it over to make sure that I didn't ramble on and not to correct small errors and typos. So sorry if my post wasn't up to your standards. I know that there will be no sets in 2010, we've stated that. I think that's practically been confirmed, I was convinced that there would be up to seeing some if the summer 2010 prelims. knew there were no Indys. I'm on the fence as to if I think that there will be any 2011 indiana jones lego sets.

I has been anounced by lego that Pirates is over after the lfagship, and the falgship never was "on shelves" (unless it's a lego store) b/c it's an exclusive @ JAMTF to tell you the truth I don't think that the workers at the lego store kow what they;re talking about any more than we do, I wen't into the local lego store about 2 weeks ago and asked for the 3rd time in 3 visits "is lego indy going to be over in 2010?" and I got 2 different responses, the most recent one being no, more sets will be made in 2011 the first one was yes, it doesn't sell well, and then I got no, it will continue from 2011. So I believe that that's what they said, but it may not be accurate. And my main confussion is that with pirates lego made a big anouncement. With Indy they haven't said anything. That's my last hope.

my local target is completly out. But lego made an official anouncement that indy sets from summer 2009 will continue to be sold ont their site.

NO nothing has been confirmed. It's all specualtion due to the fact that we haven't seen pictures of new sets yet As much as I wish they would make sets based off of the indy-verse, look how many star wars expanded universe sets have been made... 2 (I think) Indy just doesn't have the fan base to make very many more sets even from the movies. I really thikn that they're taking a year-long break and then they'll finish it off with a lao che air freight tri-motor, grail temple, tank, and warehouse 51.

I don't have a link but I heard the story. George lucas was asked in an interview on an arnold swarchtinager (spelling is off) whether Indy 5 was going to happen. What he said was "It's in development, but that's all I can say" I said nothing about "it's going to happen for sure" It'll be a while until anyhting for certain is anounced. So don't get your hopes up... or down (for some of you). And please correct me if there is a different source. That is an ultimatly bias opinion. How do you know it will be horrible? Have you seen a trailer, poster, heard the plot, or have any other evidense that to support your opinion? NO, you don't. I think it'd be better news if they cancelled Star Wars: the clone wars personally. Than if they did decide to make Iny 5, and I really wan't Indy 5.

Absolutly! The Sand people (tusken raiders) started taring the ship apart after one had knocked down luke. But the left engine is only as far as they could get before obi wan kenobi came along. I'm glad that lego went this screen accurate.

I don't thin it's over yet. I don't think that there will be a january wave possibly not a summer wave either. Maybe it's just going to ttake a break and then in 2011 it comes back b/c it's the 30th aniversary for Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Here's my thoughts of what's goin' on... Lego is putting Indy on a half year or full year Hiatus... but they will continue to sell the sets. Sinse no prelim pics have been seen or no set lists have been found everyone thinks it's done. But it'll be back in 2011... just speculation. Or... The line is ending but there will be one giant set either of the tank or the grail temple, or lao che's plane, or the club obi wan, or the brunwald castle, or the bantu wind/submarine, or area 51 or some big set. And then it'll be done. This could make sense. And lastly, the line is over and no more new sets are to be released This is all just speculation I guess we really won't know until lego tells us. I mean what bad would it do to just say... "Lego Indy is over and the sets will be discontinued after 2009" ?

YES! can't wait for the wampa attack! I'm excited, it even includes asnow speeder. And then there's the slave 1. That should be awesome with bossk and all. I can't wait for 2010 my favorite starw ars film is really getting some good merch. plus the battle packs for hoth. The land pseeder should be great too, 2010 should be a good year for lego star wars.

WEll, I guess I'll add some more confusion into the mix... my friend went to the lego store in Cincinati, I had been hounding him to ask a manager or store worker if lego Indiana Jones was over. He said that the guy said That it isn't over and sales are great. hmmmmmmmm. Someone just needs to ask lego, like an ambassador and find out what's goin' on!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASk the Lego Group about Lego Indiana Jones, is it over, is it not, we've heard it all from anyone and everyone but nothing from lego! Please ask them, I've asked and asked and have yet to get a straight answer on the topic!

the star wars thing is probabaly true but I haven't heard that yet. As far as the indy thinkg goes right now it's just rumors. It started about a month agao when jedi news said that indy wasn't coming back and they heard from lego. But then lego replied back with the news that indy IS coming back. Then they later said that no new sets would be made next year but the old ones would still be available throughout 2010. Then later people started asking around and got rumors that it WAS coming back and there was going to be a huge set in jan. I heard it was the grail temple and they were also doing the spike chamber from temple of doom but you never know. THen someone else asked and lego said that indy was taking a break for a year and then coming back in 2011. So it's all rumors for indy.

I would really like to see the opening from raiders done again as a ucs. It could be done and I would buy it.

The lawsuit was between hasbro and lego. Because lego started making "figure sets" which by techinicality hasbro called those toys action figures. Hasbro sued and lego lost the rights to continue producing "figure sets" The same goes for Indiana Jones but I believe this happened long before indiana jones came about. However I believe Matell has the toy story rights to make action figures so lego can't make any Impulse sets for toy story.

I'm pretty sure it's mattel that has the toy story action figure liscense. And yes, that is the exact reson why there will never be an impulse set for for indy, star wars, ben 10, toy story... It probably will be a battle pack tho for $10. That could be cool. And I would buy like 20 of them.
