  1. I found this on arocs grounder website. So yes it is also for tipper.
  2. He dont even mention suspension before, suspension and dual wheels are details that are popular only in diehard technic world.I found this on mercedes benz arocs website. Single wheels are also realistic, so this is now minor detail but welcome.
  3. Oh I miss this, no wait for info about dual wheels and I will be happy!
  4. Huw tell some new info about arocs on technicbricks. There will be suspensions, but pendular .Not bad at all! The pump cylinder looked much the same as the old ones from what I could tell from the box. It may well be a new size and if so would be a 1/5 in the new nomenclature. I'm not sure if the rack housing was used for the outriggers (of which there are two), it's possible. The four front wheels steer proportionately and the rear pair of axles seemed to be connected as a bogie, mounted in the centre. At least that's as much as I could tell when I lifted up the front to gauge its weight. So, not suspension per se but the body can be rocked side-to-side on them. OK, so the crawler lattice boom might not be 1m in length but it was certainly long and impressive. The fire plane is a single propeller driven sea plane with two floats, much like this one http://www.zenithair.com/stolch701/7-photo-floats06.html. It was predominately white with red accents and stickers. The ailerons moved and I suspect the tail flap did too but I didn't witness that. Size-wise I'd say it was about the same as 8836 Sky Ranger.
  5. Speaking of adventure vehicles, I like to see classic Hummer H1 but it will be easy task for designers, so something like FJ Cruiser will be very interesting. But dont mind it will be medium creator car and creator, so they can make anything.
  6. Colour is last problem, that I have. For me is huge letdown cabin, it looks weird for licensed vehicle and gap between wheels and mudguards is huge, if there will be suspension I will take my words back.
  7. Yeah I open one too especially for that crane. Is interesting how that crane turned from relatively small looking set on preliminary picture to 1401 mammoth with 1meter long boom.Im sure it will be eyecatcher. Arocs sounds great, but I rather wait for better pics and info about functions or video.Preliminary photo doesnt impress me a lot.
  8. From brickset Technic 42040 Fire Plane (£45, 578 pieces) - A white with red seaplane, maybe 30cm wingspan whose single propeller turns as it's pushed along the ground. It comes with trans blue 2x2 round bricks that can be ejected onto a fire below. 42042 Crawler Crane (£110, 1401 pieces) - a very large and impressive motorised crane which, refreshingly, is blue and not yellow. The boom must have been 1m long. 42043 Mercedes Benz Arocs 3245 (£170, 2793 pieces) - A stunning vehicle featuring power functions and pneumatics. The cab is white, the tipper grey. It has a pneumatically controlled red arm with an opening scoop at the end. The arm has a new rack housing at the end of it that solves the problem of it being too thick when brick built. It comes with a large motor, 4 pneumatic cylinders, a blue pump cylinder and 4 valve controls. There are three types of cylinder which might all be new. On the box they are labelled as 2/11, 1/11 and 1/5. The 2/11 is, presumably, 11 units long and 2 wide, the 1/11 was 1 unit wide and, well, you can guess the other one. The Mercedes logo is printed on a 2x2 boat stud. The alternative model, a flatbed truck, looks as good as the main one. This was easily the 'best in show' as far as I'm concerned.
  9. Info from brickset, arocs have 2700 pieces. Mobile crane is 110£ and boom is about 1 (!) meter long!seaplane is white and red.
  10. First rule in lego hobby is-Dont tell real price for big set .It will be interesting how many pieces will arocs have, mobile crane have 2606 for price 150 pounds, Im expecting same piece count, because pneumatic can be pricey.
  11. Some info from brickfanatics http://brickfanatics.co.uk/london-toy-fair-2015-report/ Price for arocs is 170 pounds.
  12. Also it can be yellow or orange.
  13. I think black colour kill some details and it looks bad on box.And also I think black is not popular among kids
  14. Maybe you have different preliminary photo, but Dokludi made everything to make it almost as in preliminary photo. There are some new parts, that he logically doesnt have but this is normal.Maybe his replica is more sophisticated than lego, who knows. Also I hope he will try that crane, only problem I see, that there is lens flare on crane arm. I still hope that this is preliminary version, Im not so happy with overall look of set.I hope there will be some interesting building techniques and functions that satisfy 200€ purchase.Crane is must buy, white-blue scheme is greatest decision by designers.
  15. Nope it is same as preliminary, even with that lights.
  16. It looks same as seen on preliminary picture, not 50% .Is logical that replica doesnt have parts that are not relleased yet..?
  17. He must be wizard, this is impossible to make working replica based on blurry preliminary picture in short amount of time.So suspension and dual wheels are possible, I hope lego make this details too. You probably dont know more informations about mercedes trucks.Iam right?
  18. Overall look of front of this car is ehm, for non licensed set it will be great but for licensed it is pretty bad. Also usage of that wheel as logo is much better than sticker.
  19. You nailed that grille perfectly, I hope that preliminary grille is still preliminary.
  20. Blue looks to me same as in 41999.
  21. Try change proxy.it looks almost like this, but nicier.http://www.p3planningengineer.com/photo%20gallery/machines/cranes/crawler%20crane%2050t.jpg
  22. Technicbricks already did this http://storage.technicbricks.com/Media/2015/TBs_20150102_1/TBs_20150102_1b.jpg It is almost same, only colour is darker and crane body looks more curved.
  23. Yeah that crane is big shock to me, it is amazing.I hope you see it as soon as possible...
  24. Too bad, that I cant order from that catalogue. Some old new lego sets will be very welcome .
  25. I like lego trains especially 12V and metroliner.Exclusive trains are astonishing, but I see one problem in trains.Cars are starting to be normally about 6 studs width, trucks more.Trains compare to lego cars seems pretty thin nowadays.
