  1. There’s some great suggestions in here! One thing I always wanted would be one of those little kids you see who always carry something on a giant cushion, like a medieval ring bearer - If there was a stud on the centre of the cushion, you could then use it in different environment, for carrying lots of funny / ridiculous items as well!
  2. These are all great suggestions! I feel like after the choice & success of the Wolfpack Beastmaster in the latest Minifig Series, Dragon Knights / Dragon Masters are probably the next ‘big’ Castle faction to bring back. The same year 1993 gave us Ice Planet 2002 in the Space line, who just had an amazing Minifig in the last CMF Series, and we had a Majisto GwP Workshop last year. Both Majisto & the Dragon Knight would be pretty popular, and you could even change do a PaB figure variant later changing the Dragon Knight colours to give us another faction in the 80s / early 90s Black Knights. An archaeologist is a great shout for a bit of variation (going great with the Natural History Museum!), and I’d love a few fantasy characters as well as the usual army builders. A squire would probably go well, and I’d LOVE a Castle baby to go with the Space baby we have!
  3. Lego Castle feels like a perennial favourite for Lego fans, where even if we don’t get a new set every year it feels like one of the main ‘pillars’ of Lego alongside City, Space and possibly Pirates in terms of longevity? With that in mind, we’ve had a Space Series of CMF, the new Wolfpack Beastmaster is a runaway success in CMF Series 27 while Basil the Batlord seems to be in everyone’s Top 5 Minifigs from last year (plus D&D is a big get for some Castle fans) - Do you think we could ever get a Castle Minifigure Series, and what would you like it to contain? I think obviously Majisto and a 90s Dragon Knight feel the most obvious fan additions, plus Willa the Witch from Fright Knights? A Royal Knight from the latest additions, maybe a Prince Charming? (With shining armour for the knight himself!) I’m sure there’d be some fantasy monsters like the recent Orcs, maybe something historically accurate like an updated archer? Sorry if this has been debated at length, but I’ve just got back into Lego again after a little while & after the Wolfpack Beastmaster I’m itching for more!
  4. I found the Jazz Club quite basic, on the outside at least, compared to other modulars. The poor colour scheme, lack of advanced techniques on the facade (seriously, some of the work would be at home in a generic creator set) and various other issues meant it’s also my least liked set, however considering it was a last minute addition due to the team having to scrap the Newspaper / Printing Press Modular Building set I can give it a lot of leeway. If the Daily Bugle hadn’t come out then we would have had that set instead, and I’m still hopeful we get it in the future when the Daily Bugle is retired. If we don’t, at the very least I hope we get a good view of it so we can build it ourselves.
  5. Yeah it’s a Haberdashery, you see them in a few small old town places still. I actually expect Lego will link the Haberdashery & the Tailor’s shop together tbh, where the Tailor from the Jazz Club will end up getting his supplies from the Haberdashery.
  6. Just a thought - But I think that’s actually Pippin Reed from the ‘90s Adventurers theme outside the Haberdashers shop? We know she was in the recent Orient Express set, Johnny Thunder has been in the City jungle sets this year and last year’s modular History Museum had Dr Kilroy as the Curator. It’d be pretty cool if the guy with the mustache sitting outside the Inn was the pilot Harry Cane too, but alas I don’t think they have current printing that’s similar enough to his flying jacket right now.
  7. Hi guys! I’m in the UK here, I’m not sure if anybody uses the cashback websites but they can be quite lucrative in getting extra money off Lego sets, especially if you’re buying big ones online. Quidco today sent me the below offer today, I’m assuming it’s for all members? Get a £25 Bonus when you opt in and spend £100 or more with LEGO® You also get cash back on top of that, so I got 7.5% off the Modular Museum (£19.50), plus the above £25 bonus offer, double points for insider weekend (at least another £25 off in Lego insider points) AND the two Lego bonus GWP sets! That’s not a bad offer, and I just wanted to give anyone else who hadn’t picked up the Orient Express, Avengers tower or any other similar big set yet that this would be a great way to stack some excellent bonuses together - I REALLY want the GWP Hot Dog truck, but I’ll pick that up with the Orient Express and use the bonus points I’ve accumulated today off it as well.
