I usually buy sets for all types of reasons I might buy them for minifigs, parts, or just me liking the set. Sometimes a set with good parts will have good minifigs too, but sometimes a set that I like will have horrible minifigs. Usually minifigs don't make or brake the set but they're always good to have.
I'm not interested in Indy much but Elsa is a MUST HAVE, pretty face, gorgeous hair, I don't have a choice D; Darn you TLC why must you make such good sets WHY???
Great MOC!The building is great and I like how you included two girls (one a child :D) and one guy. If only lego went in this direction :/ This would probably look great next to city life :)
I never realized how good pink looks, when I saw pink hotel I was like eww that's gonna look awful, but when I saw the pink it looked pretty good. I must not appreciate it because I don't have any :P Good job though, I like how you put everything on raised base plates, can't wait till you finish it.
Season's don't really affect my town much. I mean all throughout winter I didn't make a single wintery thing. I think my town is permanently in spring and summer because those are my two favorite seasons.
I think it's possible to pull it off but not many people can. I don't think they look very good as are but with a little modding it will look fine. They usually need walls and a sidewalk like the other CC buildings and probably a few more floors. I don't suggest trying to mod them to fit in because usually you'll have to work on it so much it's more of a moc than a mod. Personally I don't like modding them I usually just look at them and try to make a modular town building with the same purpose without destroying the other building. This way I have a modular section and a normal section.
Wow, this is awesome news! My parents told me I could only spend 20 dollars and a LDD I wanted to buy was 30 but after the price change it went to 17 WOOOO I still think lego is going to increase its prices again but oh well I think the new palette is worth it
