This looks great, you certainly made great use of a small area, I think the only other place I've seen that window technique is on the building in the banner

It looks much better now. Even though I like the thought of raised tracks I don't understand how the people would get on or off the train I think it's pretty funny that you don't have a hospital though because I don't have a fire station or a police station and my hospital has 1 bed Though I don't have the same problems as the people who don't have space. I have 3 dining room sized tables in my town a piano I build on top of an old clothing chest a desk and a lego table

Woah, that thing is MASSIVE! I hope you post more pics soon

Amazing article Brickster, I've been thinking about getting a train system throughout my town for a while now, and this review really convinced me . I'll be purchasing the Passenger Train, I think it's a great way to get started on a track layout and have a train to run on it . I LOVE the emerald knight but I didn't want to buy it without any tracks in my town and the passenger train included some tracks so I thought it was the perfect starter kit. I'm getting $20 dollars tomorrow and that's all I need to buy it. But I have a question, there are only 3 non-9v trains out right now and I wanted to pick up the holiday train at bricklink but I didn't want to buy 9v tracks since my passenger train and all the other sets available right now have RC tracks. Is there any way to convert the holiday train and other 9v trains to RC or PF? Or do you think I should make my tracks 9v so both can run on them?

Ideas for TLG going more "green"
MarcusV3 replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Of course that would be fine with me but what about people without Computers? That could become a major problem to lego fans in poor areas -
Unfortunately I can't make it But if anyone can bring the parts of my sigfig along I'd really appreciate it My Sigfig is the one in my avatar. I think all the parts are really common. To everyone else that can make it Have lots of fun!

I'm so excited for this set . It's pretty cool to see that the instructions of the emerald night included a building appearing next to cafe corner and green grocer. Some freaked out about it meaning Market Street wasn't going to be available for long (ironically it's sold out right now ) but I think it's just not there because it's not technically part of the series. I really hope it's not one of those things that everyone gets so excited about and then it turns out to suck or not exist at all . I did sorta realize a pattern in these Cafe Corner styled buildings. So far all of them have been "Risks" on TLC's part. First there was Cafe Corner this was a risk because it was the start of a new series and TLC couldn't be sure if people would purchase these sets. Then Market Street was a risk because it was made by a lego fan. and Green Grocer had an interior which was a risk because you didn't see this on the box. I think it's suitable to say a fire station would fit in to this pattern, all of the CC styled buildings so far have been civilian orientated with a grocery store for people to get food, a market street for people to buy things, and a cafe for people to eat at. So a firehouse would definitely be a change, I'm worried about the fact that none of these "risks" have really been continued. So far we haven't seen another fan built building, an "official" building with no interior, or a building with an interior. Oh well hope for the best, prepare for the worst! ~Marcus

I don't think anyone should judge this game just yet. This is coming out on multiple platforms isn't it? If so DS games are usually horrible compared to the other platforms. And if not well still the DS isn't really known for it's graphics it known for it's portability, and by the looks of this I'll have my lego fix anywhere :P

Haha good story, but I have to say I'm a bit horrified about that other goal involving the batman suit and the eggplant O_o

I really hope you can manage to pull this off. I doubt it because... well I doubt anyone could. At least in minifig scale If you can do it than Kudos to you, if you can't well than I can't say I'm surprised. If you could pull this off than it will probably take like 15 years. Good luck anyway

Great, the SNOT definitely makes it more impressive and it looks really accurate.

Cool, although I don't know why but I expected a Lego Cruise ship Now THAT would be impressive -
Not all system! Not as impressive anymore Wow, I wish I could go to NYC, I was supposed to go there for a broadway show but the stupid writers strike killed it

I spend around 500 usd a year (377.108 euros) This is all from christmas birthday easter and chores. It's an awful lot but it's definitely worth it

I like your collection so far. It's MUCH bigger than mine :P Good luck and I'll be sure to keep my eyes on this project

Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
MarcusV3 replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I never keep any of the boxes. There isn't really any point because I don't sell on bricklink and I never will :P. I keep the instructions just in case I'm in need of a certain piece and I need to find it or if a part of the set broke. -
I would say city even though farms usually aren't anywhere near cities :P they're more around towns. I always though lego should name the theme towns & cities or something like that because a lot of things such as farms would be more considered town sub themes instead of city.

USD is aprox. 66 dollars but due to info given it should be 50 or 60 dollars. The facts are that Lego has stated before that they overprice europe (sorry everyone D:) and Toywiz is ALWAYS overpricing things I mean flight on the flying wing is usually sold for 50 bucks and is available now but Toywiz is selling it for 60 ;)

Wohooo!!!! Around 66 usd for city life! That's awesome!!! I don't know why but I thought it was 100 usd and I just happened to be complaining about that to myself today :P Yay for irony! Edit: Currency Translation: I thought it was aprox. 74 euros instead of 50 Woohooo!
