This highlights the problem with Cuusoo, unless all the AFOL's who buy lego are on Cuusoo, then to get 10,000 votes is very unlikely and hence why so far the only projects to reach 10k are fan based. I have removed my UCS 74-z and ILC, RAS from Cuusoo and am contemplating removing the AT-AT. I have it built in LDD and could easily build it in MLCAD and generate building instructions etc as Anio has done.

Cost I have no idea, i know what it cost me and thats gona be far less than what it would cost. But.. if people are willing to pay stupid amounts for a 10179 then Lego would have no problems selling a large scaled AT-AT

I have failed to find my old thread on this MOC so if a mod knows where it is please move this there. I have finally built my AT-AT in LDD and can reveal the parts count as around 6000 pcs. I was just wondering if there was demand for the LXF files and if there is somebody who can make instructions for it. Either way email or PM me about it. I Still don't understand peoples issues with the price??? I would have paid full price for mine and still have got a good deal, 2127 parts for £150 is excellent, just remember the Lambda shuttle had 2500 parts and was £100 more expensive!

I don't know what you mean.... but it could be as bad as saying that a C3P0 to go with R2 would need a lot of chrome parts wouldn't it? but then i didn't say that did I???

yeah look at sparkarts? if this could be scaled up then that would be nearly perfect.

Love this MOC it's a nice size and chromed as well, while a larger version would be nice it wouldn't work as there is next to no detail on the hull, so this is all it needed to get the right look.

Lego is blocky it's bricks! As soon as they start making custom pieces for each model it's no longer Lego and will become beyond the affordability of all but the very rich. Seriously though if they had of made a custom dome for R2 then you would more than likely find something else to moan about.

Depends if you want a decent AT-AT or not As for C3P0 depends who you know....

I'm glad they have done the B-Wing, possibly next year we will get a UCS C3P0 & A-Wing or maybe a larger UCS set next year, Slave-1 maybe. I think a Cloud car would be nice!

Regarding the pin joiner with slot, my official set has the slot version of this part and mine was one of the first batch so i don't think it ever had the one without a slot.

Just an honest opinion, The body looks too small and the head just looks wrong somehow, i do like the legs though and if you could pivot the ankles...

Well, it looks ok but is no where near your usual standard of building it looks more like a kids built it to be honest, your other mocs are far more accurate and have lots more detail than this one, I'd suggest you start again from the legs up.
