  1. Hi, check out my Star Wars Tatooine diorama! Dimesions: 280 x 180cm Pieces: ~100000 Build time: 1 year Enjoy!
  2. Hey, I uploaded some previews from the instructions if you want to see how it looks like I noticed that some instruction makers use part-fade-out, the parts from previous steps are all grayed out or half transparent so as you can see only the actual parts. It can help to see new parts on a big models. What do you guys prefer ?
  3. Cool, I just wanted to avoid misunderstanding . I will check it, I'm already following your flickr!
  4. Your work is amazing but your assumption is not corrent, they might look similar from distance, but they are not alike. Trust me, I spent last few months with this Venator, so I know every single detail of this model and from what I can see, there is not many similarities with your version. The ONLY thing which looks almost the same is the DARK-RED middle part. And perhaps the usage of few specific bricks like the wrenches or wedge plate 2x4 on the wings but those are just the best parts to use on Venators, see my old version Apart from that, I see that your picture of Venator was uploaded 2 Feb 2018, we work on this Venator together since the May of last year! I can't flind the Eliss's WIP topic here on Eurobricks right now, but here you have some flickr photo from October last year. Regards, Martin
  5. I imported the part list in BrickStore and set the prices for the Bricklink last 6 month average price and the total is $359. Of course if you already have some part it can be useful. Also it's possible to exchange some parts to cheaper (big plates on the wings), or change colors inside the model, mostly the dark-bluish gray part from the interior.
  6. Hi there , the model is now published on Rebrickable, also with PART-LIST, check it out! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-14078/thire5/ucs-venator-class-star-destroyer/
  7. @krisandkris12 I think I will increase the size a bit, right now it has the length around 36studs so perhaps increase to 42-44. The front red part is big enough, I just need to increase the size of the wing itself. @Smitty500 heh, I always wondered how the droids can fit in there. Similar droid as on the ARC-170 might be an option but I just ordered the R4 unit (together with the whole set ) so I think I will try to use it. @Jerac thanks, I needed to see it from this angle, those "boxes" might actually fit the whole droid! Never realized they were so big. They are not really visible in most of the scenes.
  8. UCS Jedi starfighter - Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor Dimensions: 42 x 38 x 28 studs Pieces: 1679 INSTRUCTIONS are available on rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-23806/thire5/ucs-eta-2-actis-class-interceptor/#details ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original post --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! I'm currently working on my new UCS model of Jedi Interceptor. Originally, I wanted to keep the same scale as my ARC-170 starfighter , but the sizes are quite different (18.95m vs. 4.3m) so the Jedi starfighter would be quite small. Right now I'm I have a little problem with R4 unit, it seems to be quite big compared to the rest of the ship. Not sure what to do, either create some smaller R4 unit (3x3 stud ?), or make the ship bigger what do you think ?

  20. @Bbafett: Nice build with nice color scheme! For the dark green tile, this might be some acceptable substitution: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=22385#T=C
  21. Thank you Btw plan your trip to Prague guys! This model and many others will be displayed at exhibition from 1.4. to 30.6.2017, there will be 15 millions (!!!) of bricks and I speak about huge models made by AFOLs, not just heaps of bricks to play or Legoland statues. Here is the webpage of the Brickrepublic exhibition (sorry, only in Czech for now, just put it the translator) http://www.brickrepublic.cz/
  22. Hehe no problem, the design is clear, I love the usage of the car mudguards.
  23. Thank you! That turret looks really great, I might borrow it one day Thanks! Yes, it is Mars Mission color scheme.
  24. This looks great and huge! I also like your other creations, you should present them on eurobricks also :) Regarding the wheels - I saw them recently on flickr with several photos of instructions how to made them, but I can't find the gallery now.
  25. Thank you! Yes, those wings are tough to use, I don't remember if I used them somewhere else. And you are right about the turrets, I did not think about it so thoroughly
