I set few requirements: - as faithful to the original model as possible - completely SNOT/studless - interior (all 4 hangars) - use only active and relatively accessible Lego parts - easy to transport in separated modules - the same size like my previous Venator

Good new for everyone who is trying to get the pieces. The 2489 Container, Barrel 2 x 2 x 2 in LBG will be available in new Harley set - at least 4 pieces

Very nice design! Do you plan to build another Mon Calamari ships, like Home One?
-
Yes, that's true, but it's better to modify part list and list only the assembled version since they are way more cheaper and common that the separated lots... Great model as always!

That looks very nice :) thank you for mentioning me.

@AfolFree thanks I'm working on the yellow version, there are some small changes. I will probably create another model on Rebrickable (because the inventory will be slightly different), but I will offer it together with the red version -

Hello! I finished the instructions, you can get them on Rebrickable :), or email me: thire@seznam.cz The parts can be obtained for 180-200€ (excluding R4 unit) Thank you for watching -
Thank you! @come2me yeah, chrome color would be awesome, but that would not be pure Lego :/

Thank you guys :) @Kristof thanks :D I'm happy that I managed to create most of the dark-red sections using brick and not stickers while keeping it quite stable. -

@Ellisss_2 thank you, it was a lot of work to make it stable enough and keep the color scheme without using stickers :) @Hold0511 thanks! what would you say about Delta 7 in studless version like this one? :D I was thinking about that. But my next model might be V-wing. And of course this model in yellow color - Anakin's version. -

Thank you for your comments I had that in mind. I was thinking about using 2x this piece to make a holder but my globe is too big for it. Maybe I will find another way. Haha, sure, I didn't forget it -

Thank you for your comments :] I have also the source files from MLcad so I might share them or try to do some simple instructions. Haha that's an interesting idea... but I did some math and the Death star in the same scale would have diameter of 0.3 studs... The Moon seems to be more feasible on the other hand. -
[MOC] The Earth

Thank you! @ukbajadave I was not sure to put it in this category but I couldn't find better fit. If I calculate correctly, the scale is 1 : 61 259 615 (the model has 0.208 meters diameter, the Earth has 12 742 000 meters). I generated the base sphere using Bram's Sphere Generator. The result is 6 identical shpere pieces. Then I got screenshots of globe from 4 different angles + 2 poles in orthographic projection (using this). Then it was easy to map the correct positions of continents with the colors like on satellite view (yes, dark green parts are rain forests). I had to build the internal structure by myself but that was quite easy, using mostly bricks with studs on the sides. Exposed studs are mostly just representing some roughness of surface like mountains (and in case of dark tan I just didn't have enough tiles :D ) here is the example of mapping process: I'm considering making the instructions since I have almost the whole model already in 3D. -
Hi, check out my model of the Earth :) Dimensions: 28 x 28 x 28 studs The base sphere is generated by Bram's Sphere Generator
