    I could see them doing a new head and legs, similar to the cmf faun, but I think a regular minifigure torso would work fine.

    When are these sets rumored to release? April or June? also I’m really happy with this wave! Love the fact we’re getting the horntail, buck beak and Sirius, as well as the four champions and the stag, really nice! I think the only thing I’d be left wanting is a werewolf lupin, but given the nature of that character I don’t think a minifigure would cut it, I’d love to have something similar to the general grevious fig as far as the mold. Any thoughts?

    I think a good alternative would be to have characters in the next minifigure series who you could buy multiples of and customize slightly, like quidditch players for hufflepuff and ravenclaw, or krum and Fleur, who you could buy multiples of to make more generic students from durmstrang and beauxbatons. As well as robed uniforms (like the ones the trio and Dean Thomas got in the cmf series) for the three other houses. i know we won’t be getting a WW cmf this year, but hopefully next year ??

    Where is that from? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. And given the fact that it looks to be a book made directly by LEGO then maybe that’s the official build.

    I love this list! POA is my favorite HP movie so it’s great to see so many sets based on it. Sure it would have been nice to get a new chamber of secrets but I’m sure LEGO will eventually find a way to make it work. From the list I think the expecto patronum will be on the lake with Sirius, Harry, a dementor or two and the patronus stag. Triwizard tournament will definitely be the first task, it’s more iconic than the second task and they teased the Horntail with the D2C. Hagrids hut sounds great, hopefully a new buckbeak like everyone has been saying. The night bus exites me the least personally, but that’s just because I’m not sure how much different they could make it from the old one, but I’ll probably pick it up anyway. the watch tower I think will be the clock tower with the pendulum from POA, it’s kind of odd we’re only getting one set from GOF but I’m not sure what part of hogwarts could go with that. Overall I’m really exited for this wave! What minifigures do you all speculate will be Included in each set?

    Well we got minifigs from movies 4 and 5 in the minifigure series, and from 5 and 6 in the bricktober pack, so even if the sets will follow the order of the movies there’s still a possibility of getting mini figures from the latter movies. So we could get a movie 3 Sirius in the sets and a movie 5 Sirius in the second series or another promotional thing.

    Yes! I ordered it Thursday morning an originally the shipping said that I would recieve it on Monday but oddly I recieved it on friday night.

    Went to Barnes and Noble in New York yesterday, asked them and the man working at the toy section outright said that they weren't gonna get them until much later. I went down to the help center and asked if they could check the system for the UPC code, a quick search found that they were already in the system but not out in stores yet, however he said i could order it and have it sent by mail. So I did and just received it a little while ago. Go ask in the help center! Really pleased with the pack tbh, quality is understandable for chinese made lego, but all the figures look great regardless, I'll definitely try and get my hands on another one to keep sealed.

    Doesn’t the book include pages for mini figures in the CMF line? If so, then maybe these two were on the shortlist for that and ultimately got bumped off. Or maybe they’re going to be part of another promotional type set like the Bricktober pack. I really would want to get these characters, but given the rumoured wave to movie pattern it seems odd to release a year 5 set before seeing sets from years 3 and 4 (excluding the Express). But as we’ve seen, minifigures from both the cmf and bricktober pack follow no movie order so maybe they’ll come from there.

    No, it’s definitely a Ukrainian Ironbelly in the film. Nothing about that dragon is even remotely green, and every depiction of it (such as the noble collection beast series) lists it as an Ironbelly.

    Going back a bit I think an advent calendar would be great for the line, they could continue the micro scale line with small builds that fit in to the d2c hogwarts like the quidditch pitch, brick-built beasts and other building from diagon alley (as well as microfigs). Personally I’m very hopeful and expectant for this line to continue, I do think that TLG may have been unsure about it at first (given the vast assortment of characters we got even though there weren’t any sets from the later movies to tie them into) but I believe that given the large sales for this wave we can almost certainly expect more sets in the near future) Personally id love a new Minifig scale Diagon Alley, a new Horntail, more add-ons to hogwarts (POA Clock-Tower, Astronomy Tower etc), Hagrids Hut, Chamber of secrets (unlikely as it may be) and of course a series 2 of CMF’s. :D

    I think the Shrieking Shack is very likely given that with this wave we're likely to get sets from years 3 and 4. if we do get a shrieking shack; a new moulded werewolf Lupin would be ideal. Similar to the general griveous minifig. another set i would love to get is a remake of the first task with a huge brickbuilt horntail with a molded head. I think since we got the horntail in the d2c we might also get it.

    Quick question, is there a forum for Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts custom builds or purist customs? If not, would that be something you would all be interested in seeing?

    Really crazy today at the lego store in Mexico City, the cmf series, the voltron set and the new Aston Martin all released today in mex, so there were tons of people there since opening time. Managed to get myself Graves and most of the ones I really wanted, got 11 total with no repeats, need to go back later for the rest. I found my Graves in the third place from the back of the left collumn, the bag was also folded, so that may also be some indication.

    I also think a mix of brick built and molded would be the best option, all the other creatures in the wave are either brick built or a mix of both (aragog, the basilisk, occamy, thunderbird etc) (with the exception of the thestral, although it does have a few bricks to attach the wings), so to lower cost and make the dragon fit with the rest of the other creatures, a mix would be optimal. i also think a buckbeak mold would be good, with poseable back legs like the recent horses.

    I hope that the inclusion of the Horntail in the d2c is an indication of what’s to come. In the event that we do get a new First Task set; what would you rather the Hungarian Horntail be built as? A brick built dragon ala ninjago sets; or a molded dragon ala Smaug and the first Horntail? personally I would rather a brick built dragon with a new mold for the head. A completely molded dragon would increase the price. And seeing as how all the other wizarding world creatures in the new line have been brick built , then a very large brick built dragon would fit with the aesthetic.

    I got a crack on Rey's side under her arm straight out of the package, do you guys consider that to be reason enough to warrant another from lego? I really like Rey and I'm not sure if im going to get the falcon, so I'd really like to have a not broken Rey minifig.
