Its definitely a nice review, however the set seems average in my opinion. The engine block does look interesting to me, its a nice oasis of the blockiness around it. Now I know the wings are supposed to be kid friendly which means lots of big pieces. I think this makes it way too blocky for us AFOLs. It also makes it more profitable for lego, less pieces at the same price if they used tiles and snot and curved pieces. Isnt time that lego get some really solid curved pieces and actually used them? Or invent some techniques to provide a smoother curve instead of just angled bricks still it gets the desired effects. I would love to see some close ups of the new minifigs!

Damn! That is one impressive brickfilm. Its got some really great effects in there and the animation is just so clean. Hardly any jerking around which looks so amazing. I cant wait to view more of his work on youtube

well dont all the 1 x something bricks have little filled pieces. This is really what Im imagining that you are talking about, but too lazy to get up and check my own lego pieces. I think when they are hollow you can put a single stud into them?

Sugi doesnt have CW eyes? She still looks nice, I guess that's cause she doesnt have CW eyes. But really none of the Bounty Hunters do. Aurra doesnt really have CW eyes just black pupils in the style kind of. I have a feeling she will be good for EP 1 dioramas. Im not that much of a fan of Shaak-Ti she looks accurate but in CW, not that great. She looking to the side as well which is kinda weird, and the ridge on the head piece is curved which doesnt look good. I think from these pics Im fine on missing out on her and Saesee. But Luminara looks awesome! She seems not that CW-sy and a lot like Barriss so I cant wait to put those two together. I do like the double sided head but its quite out of context in the set. I do want a closer, clearer look at her legs though. Its good Rex is still the same for continuity's sake. EDIT: I also notice none of the minifigs have the new guns. I sure do hope he just switched them to keep them and they didnt come like that.

Well that certainly is a weird face. Whether that is the face for all of them remains to be seen but it does look like the leader (whose name I am forgetting ). I dont want them to be clones of that dude. The face is too accurate, soemthing like the clone head would've sufficed.

Hmm that is interesting. Though now it seems it has flooded that forum with a lot of Universe stuff. Would it be possible to have it in a sub-forum in the forum like what star wars has with Watto's Junkyard? It would still be seen there because it is in a topic that is more read than Universe. I dont know just a thought.

I wonder if this new smaller blaster will become the standard one? I do hope not because I like the medium sized one. It's a nice size, not rifle but not pistol. I sure do hope they keep using all the different sizes, they provide good variation. But I do hope this new one pushes out the ARC gun because that just didnt fit in with the others.
