  1. Excellent, thanks! Now I know how to rule if such a lucky occurance happens. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  2. If a counterstriking enemy is stunned, does the counterstike not damage the Hero? If so, does the Stun only last that round, or does it go on till the next too? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  3. OoC: Just realized everything's ready. I'll run the round now.
  4. Yes, until Fleur's timer runs out it takes 2 rounds to return to the ship. Sorry if that wasn't entirely clear. B. Overboard!: A Hero (or villain) thrown Overboard! takes water damage equal to 5+total number of rounds after Fleur’s Getaway Timer has expired disregarding SP, but not row, and is removed from the combat. If Fleur’s Getaway Timer has not expired, the character returns to the dock and can return to Live or Let Die in 2 rounds provided Fleur’s Getaway Timer does not expire during that time. If the Timer has expired, the Target is swimming. Quest for a swimming character will take place in PM until the combat is over. This does not count as Instant Death, nor does it result in the loss of the quest. Fleeing counts as Overboard! but all damage is halved due to the intentional nature of the escape.
  5. Sylph fired an arrow at Alex from the Front row, unless Alex chose to hide in the front, in which case, Sylph fired from the back.
  6. Ooh! You're welcome. Well, sure. But she's gotta be close to dead and totally trapped. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  7. Sylph Blinded Alex from the Back Row.
  8. Thanks, I'm glad it doesn't seem too cheesy. You could save her, but it'd be totally against her will. You'd probably have to bring her within an inch of her life and tie her up or something. Otherwise, she very well might jump/fall. ~Insectoid Aristocrat ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. OoC: She's Lucky too. If you want to expend ether, that's fine. I won't make you use more than two ether. You could have landed on the dock since the ship hasn't left yet.
  10. Nope! Oh, wait, you meant other than Fleur's? (Although, to be fair, her goal is not suicide, but she really doesn't care if she dies. ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  11. "Hm." humfed Fleur. "There's no real lasting pleasure in life, and you're just naive if you think otherwise. What joy can you possibly wrest from this existance that can't just as easily be taken from you in a cruel gouging way? What is sacred? What won't bite you in the neck if you let it close enough? Nothing ever lasts but gold... And even that doesn't last forever." She stated, cold hatred in her eyes. "But it lasts long enough for me."
  12. Thanks, I just looked over it and you're right. There are several beautul shots of a Cargo-hold, but unfortunately all of them have PCs and NPCs. I think I could take the picture of the sleeping chambers and add crates too it in Photoshop, though. Thanks! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Interesting Question: Does anyone have a picture of a cargo-hold of a ship that I could borrow? Crates and whatnot are optional, as I have photoshop for that sot of thing, but I lack the parts to make a convincing wooden hold without going through allot of effort fiddling with pictures in the 'shop. To be fair, I wasn't ever expecting anyone to go into the hold, but now that it's distinctly possible, I think having a pic. for it would be fun. If you could send it to me in PM that would be best, and if no one has one on-hand, I'll just use a non-lego pic w/ lego crates. Thanks! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. OoC: Yes it does, I'm sorry about that, although, not really really sorry, as I'm not flubbing any rolls. It's just the way this cookie crumbled. I see you're planning to go ahead with your plan. Wonderful. For the party to leave the combat, they would need to expend a smoke bomb (as not everyone has Flee). This is shaping up to be an interesting climax.
  15. Well, Mrs. Hinckwell is a Minstrel, right? That's an amazingly OP well balanced Support Class. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. That would explain allot. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. Yeah, probably. I'd say he's the Anti-Hero at best. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. No. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. Huh. The only thing that makes me like dogs is that my cat made my lago room into his personal litter box while I was on vacation. My character has no murdered family. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. You can keep your rich guys and kitties... I'd prefer mingling with Aristocats! Stinking dog-person. ~Insectoid Aristocat
  21. "Ha!" Fleur laughed bitterly. "I look forward to it! I'll see you then as I see you now! Hell can't be much worse than this world we all live in!" She grinned again, the pained, frightened, angry, broken grin. Her black and brown cloak twisted behind her in the furious wind like the broken wings of a bird who would never soar again.... like the wings of a fallen angel. OoC: Well atleast let me apologise for the sheer amount of typos. This comput0r doesn't have spell-check.

FAB: -52, -1 P CQB: -1 P Sea Shaman Joins combat The wind howled. The ship rocked. The wooden boards that made-up the deck and helm were slick with rain. The Party fought onwards. Karie, having righted her outfit to her best capabilities lunged back into combat, whipping "Sexy" out and pointing her at her quarry. Fleur grimaced at her, preparing her twin daggers for Karie's assault. Karie lunged, but miscalculated Fleur's size from her churning cloak, and stabbed the cloth and not the woman. Fleur then stabbed at Karie with her dagger, trying to puncture her back, but Drake stepped in at the last moment. He pushed Fleur back with his shield, the thing bashing her chin. She stumbled back... right into the tragectory of Nessa's bolt! Fleur grunted in pain, and turned, wild-eyed, to face her opponent. She dove at Nessa, grasping her by the cape, and pushed her back against the rail, but nessa kneed her in the gut and pushed her off. Fleur stumbled bakc again, slipping slightly on the slick ship floor. Drake slipped as well at this time, and he struggled to pick himself up. Fleur, noticing this, turned towards the Mage. Amorith began castign a defensive spell, but it was too late. She was upon him. Fleur grapped him by the shoulders and leaned him over the rail. She could almost lift him up! She pushed him up and threw him off the ship. The mage fell, but luckily caught onto some ropes, avoiding any damage from the lengthy tumble. As Fleur had her back turned, Drake got up and ran at her. HE grabbed her and pushed her against the rail, sword at her neck. "I don't know why you are doing this or what your intentions are because I'm just that ignorant, but I'm also pretty violent so if you even make one bad move and try to get past my shield, your as dead as a chicken in a large, spiked blender. Ya hear me? Well? DO YA?!?" He demanded. "I just want money!" she growled as she shifted her weight. Drake stood back preparing to hit her with his mace, but Fleur tripped him, pushing him overboard too. Darke fell head-first towards the dock, when suddenly, he caught ahold of the crane's rope and swung down safely. Fleur stood still by the rail, catching her breath. Dreyrugr moved up to her next, but she parried his blows. She grabbed him and tried to push him over, but she was tired and still needed to catch her breath. She backed up. A Squid-like humanoid stepped onto the Helm. "You are need me, Captain?" The Shaman spoke in broken common. Live or Let Die?! 23. Both, and sorry. I did post in the discussion page what happened. but yeah. This comput0r sucks.
  24. OoC: Glad I waited! I'll certainly incorporate that bit of dialogue into the battle discription. 1 round, coming up! (maybe 30-45 minutes on this crappy computor)
