Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Drock replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I hope it is an actual built bike and not just the standard LEGO motorcycle (like in the Wolverine set). If that were the case, there would have to be a lot more to the set. -

Hopefully the batboat is bigger than that. The rumored price is €26.99. :( -

I agree with you, Sam, and wish there were an additional wave next year. However, I believe that 2013 will be just like 2012 in release timing. Iron Man 3 is being released the same weekend as The Avengers was this year (early May), and Man of Steel in mid June. I'm okay with it though, because I'm sure that releasing more waves of sets compounds overhead costs for LEGO, which would then get passed along to us. -

IIRC, we just saw the Batcave at Toyfair. We had seen confidential pics of other sets prior to that, though -
Has anyone seen the mini Quinjet anywhere? Has it not been released yet or did I miss it?

Kind of disappointing to me if that's the list. I guess that as a big Batman guy, I was too spoiled with 2012. I don't really like Nolan's interpretations, so the TDKR set is a pass. I'm holding out hope that Arkham is something special and not just a 600-piece expediently thrown together pile whose sole purpose is to sell a buttload of minifigs. -
Actually, the image below is from Canada. Look closely under "Toys R Us" in the lower left and it says "Canada.". I haven't heard whether the same promos will be offered in the US or elsewhere.

Jackattack, sound about right, but I think one of the sets will be $12.99. Not sure what that translates to in Great Britain, but it's the price of this year's Catwoman and Captain America sets.

I think you're just reading too much into it. Tt probably jst called him Dick because he's the one with whom people are most familiar. From the 60s TV show and the 90s films.

Amazon's "original price" is $21.99 US. So I expect that is the cover price.

That Penguin vs. Robin would be a great set. And it makes sense. Without it, it seemed like there were way too many figures for Arkham, unless it were a $150 set. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I have no inside information, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The PT UCS sets don't seem to sell well. Obi Wan Starfighter and General Grevious were both heavily discounted. UCS line seems to be focused on the classic films. -
That's what I had in mind: the light blue "NRG Zane"

I just picked up a friends advent calendar at the Lego store. They only had two left. I read that quantities are really limited for it

Ghost Anakin? Then, of course, two more books will be coming for Yoda and Obi-Wan
-
Maybe we'll see AotC and RotS sets in the summer wave, as they're both being released theatrically in 3D next year. http://www.starwars.com/news/episode_ii_and_episode_iii_in_3d.html

Thanks again hulk smash. Interesting that they're releasing the z95 when the x-wing and swtor Republic Striker are on the shelves too. So is the asteroid a black sphere with asteroids printed on it?

Thanks for the news, hulk smash! . I'm mostly into Batman. The bat boat sounds cool, and could definitely be in the $20 slot, as it sounds similar in size and figs to the Cosmic cube escape, wolverine, and power armor Lex. I would have liked a baddie vehicle. Arkham set will probably be a monster if it will have eight minifigs. I just hope that it doesn't take away from getting vehicles for penguin, scarecrow, et al I've never really liked the Nolan vehicles, so that set may be a pass. -

Don't worry; Joker. You haven't missed anything. Just rumors that the retailer's catalog is "out in the wild," and rumors that a rumored set list should be coming soon. -

I've been thinking that too, since the cartoon has been on for a little bit. It would be neat to get the ship that he flies in it. -
The fig might end up costing you half (or more) of the cost of the book. Just buy the book, man. ;)
-
It means you can only buy that item in quantities of multiples of 18. So you can't buy just one. You have to buy 18 or 36 or 54, etc Edit I got started typing, distracted and Fred beat me to it.

I thought it was the best of the three. Even better than TDK. This series will probably never be outdone, as far as a realistic Batman. The cartoons etc. have been pure fantasy. The Burton films were a mx of fantasy and realism. The Nolan films were well done in that there was a real-world explanation to everything. I like a lite more fantasy, but can appreciate what Nolan did

Sam892...sounds like a nice set. I would buy it for sure, if they kePt it under $120
