  1. But that is exactely why we created this thread? So people would keep the nonesense and the insults here instead of seeing it pop up in every innocent pirate MOC thread that got posted.
  2. They look terrific as always Woody
  3. Great video! The smoke is exceptional.
  4. Turned out very nice and provides an excellent example of what happens when you stick with a MOC through many drafts.
  5. Looks great...There seems to be an extreme police and military presence for just pick-pockets. I think something else must be going on.
  6. So General Redwater and others understand this topic was created for the purpose of these discussions as oppossed to the new topic he opened.
  7. Nice trip. Thanks for sharing the photos. That is cool that you got to see a 25 pounder fired. I'd like that.
  8. Hi guys - Just a reminder that last year we created this topic to hold all our Redcoat vs. Bluecoat arguements and senseless chatter so we don't clog up the rest of the site...god help me I love a good Redcoat vs. Bluecoat debate...it tickles my funnybone something fierce...but not everyone feels the same way about the red vs. blue issue so we try to keep it to this thread as much as is reasonable. Hope that helps. PS for Blackcoats I'd recommend contacting Martinsuper he is their King (Haven't seen him around in a while though-which is sad...he is a good stir stick ) Browncoats/civilians? Isn't their an entire town forum Greencoats are just dirty and diseased but they have a willy captain to watchout for!
  9. Hello and welcome. You have a fantastic collection of figures there.
  10. Very nice tribute to an exceptional builder. The cockpit is a very nice touch.
  11. Very nice. Pictures look good also...except that blurry one but the rest look really good
  12. That is excellent! The color and design are really good. My only issue would be that the minifigures throw off the scale but they also look very cool since the MOC is about them. Really beautiful MOC.
  13. I doubt it, at least not the majority of them, you could possibly use some jumper plates to provide some connections for increased stability but the easiest way would be to just stack them...I guess only Sly Owl knows for sure :pir-skull:
  14. I got a baseball bat and a bunch of U clips from Brick Arms!
  15. Looks great. I really like the pick a brick wall!
  16. I agree the larger ships are disproportionately costly. It is surprising how quickly and with how few parts you can build the Frigate outlined in Captain Green Hair’s tutorial. They still require a number of parts and a few specific ones in number but relative to the large beautiful ship it’s a pretty cost effective size. My larger ships, Venerable, Resolution and Foudroyant all cost way more and require way more parts and time to build.
  17. Very nice point blank cannon shot to the face. Looks great!
  18. I'd love to be included if you are so inclined.
  19. I like the design and the colors. It reminds me of some of the older designs for urban high schools.
  20. It is progressing nicely. The interior looks great installed.
  21. Mission accomplished! Sorry mhael we sort of took over your welcome topic. So again, welcome aboard mate!
  22. Nice. I would like to see a better picture of the building itself. It is kind of a bad angle looking down at it in the photo. Also, did you link to the pictures or what? It looks a little strange to me. Anyhow, good first post of something you built. Keep it up.
  23. I raced RC cars for years (mainly off road) but there are many expensive RC's that cant do 50 MPH with electric motors. There is no way to do this 100% Lego IMO. At minimum you'd need a stronger motor but even then without bearings or a power train strong enough to handle that much power you'd just end up twisting Lego axels (you'd have to start out really slow and very gradually build up speed). You'd also need stronger batteries and a speed control device. Also at that speed every little bump would cause your car to come apart all over the place. For those speeds you would have to glue the bricks together...just my two cents. I think you should just see how fast you can make your car go to begin with and then keep trying to break your own record. Best of luck. Let us know how you do.
  24. A unique and ambitious project. Good luck with it. I’ll be watching for updates.
