  1. Arthur wonders what questions he missed and shrugs, "As long as the passengers are kept from panicking, I don't mind the company." The steward waits until they are mostly out of hearing, "What happened with the FTL? Are we stranded?" Arthur intends to simply ring the door and check for communication from the occupants first.
  2. Arthur notes that the espresso machine seems beyond repair for the time being and settles for the Keurig. After finally managing to make a cup he hands it to Gabriella, "Lieutenant, communications deck. I asked for Mr. Mallory and Dr. Seymour to check in on Mr. Peck and Parry, but they might be a little shaken up still. Now that you and the captain are here to keep order, I'll go check on them." Arthur address the rest of the passengers, "Ladies and gentlemen, I shall return momentarily. In the meantime, please address any of your questions to Captain Bennett or Gen... Engineer Palmer." Arthur goes to check on Mr. Peck and Parry.
  3. "Please Mrs. Dawson, there's been enough damage already." Arthur begins counting the passengers. "Damn it. Mr. Mallory, Dr. Seymour, would one or both of you be so kind as to check in with Mr. Parry and Mr. Peck, they seem to be missing." Arthur tries one of the comms. "Captain Bennett, Engineer Palmer, anyone? Is everything alright?"
  4. "Either that or he's realizing how high his bar tab has been tonight." Arthur smiles, "Hit me, Mr. Peck." Arthur pauses as if trying to find the right words, "...more along the latter. Had a bit of a temper, didn't take disrespect lightly... One incident and an entire 20 year career down the drain."
  5. "Smart, plus ambition I'd wager, takes a certain attitude for star-travel." Arthur takes a drink while glancing at his cards. "Jupiter Fleet, Lieutenant on the UES Hephaestus, over 10 years back. Had a string of bad luck... ended up here." Arthur's brow wrinkles slightly with frustration.
  6. Arthur mixes the drink bringing it over to Alfie, "Deal me in." "Intriguing, but if you were a Zygon wouldn't you simply make that up?" Arthur smiles before pocketing one of the tablets for later.
  7. "Glad to hear you've got more than eggs, chef." "Certainly." Arthur reaches up taking the high shelf gin down again and mixes another drink. "So how is it you came to be one of the only ones in FTL mechanics?"
  8. "Mr. Allen or Arthur would be fine whichever you prefer, Representative Sawyer. Would you like that double on the rocks? We stock some retro Grey Goose if you'd fancy that. As for present company, I'm not one to judge to harshly. Blue Star cruises prides itself on it's clientele." The steward pours the glass and hands over another pitcher of water over to Charlie. "I'm sorry I don't believe I've ever heard of a Zygon before."
  9. Arthur finishes up with Mrs. Dawson and heads back to the bar to pour a finger for Oliver, "Going to be an expensive night it seems..." "First mysterious plush litterers, then assassins, and now spies, I haven't heard such paranoia since I was in the service. I was expecting this to be a quiet trip, but I suppose with money comes eccentricity to match."
  10. Arthur mixes the drink and hands it over, "Ah, well I'm sure you'll have a lovely time, I'll have a bottle of champagne sent to your room for the anniversary. They say Alpha Centauri is supposed to be very beautiful this time of year." "Mr. Mallory, I would assume you had used the cabinet prior to the doll being inside? While I hate to disparage our cleaning staff, perhaps the plush was from a previous passenger."
  11. "Mr. Mallory, please know that Blue Star Cruises will gladly investigate the matter. We take great pride in the security and privacy of our passengers. Now please, provide as many details as you can. Firstly, does the object in question resemble this?"
  12. "I'm sorry Mr. Mallory, but what seems to be the problem?"
  13. Arthur pours Gabriella a finger of the scotch, "To fathers, may their memories be... remembered." Arthur takes a sip of the single malt, "No need to be ashamed of your accomplishments, you earned them, might as well reap your rewards..." Arthur pauses for a moment lost in thought, "That description of Callisto, makes me want visit myself, can only imagine the memories such a place would create. 'Xcuse me one moment." Arthur feigned a smile as he made the lawyer her drink, "My apologies mam, how dry do you prefer your drink? As for schooling, east end of New Chicago, suits were to be pressed and the canings were plentiful. I may have missed it, you and your husband traveling to Alpha Centauri on... business was it?"
  14. "You served in the navy did you, which outfit? I served myself back before I decided to take to the stars." Noting that no-one else seems to be in need of a drink at the moment, Arthur pours himself a scotch. "Ah, not much family to speak of. Father was a military man, split up with Ma early on and I ended up at boarding schools before enlisting. When I got out, I went straight to Blue Star, a few flings along the cruises, but those always ended when we made port." The steward takes a sip from his glass, "Never been to Callisto, I'm sure its lovely..."
  15. Arthur returns with another Mimosa, "Your drink Mam, and may I say it's a privileged to have voted for you in the last election." "Mr. Hudson, I was under the impression that subject was censored by earth's central government years ago, no?" Arthur's eyebrows raise for a brief moment before he smiles with a nervous chuckle, "I've got to admit I much preferred my old fatigues to this ill tailored suit, but a job is a job. How is it you ended up on corporate carnival barge instead of something like a space force frigate or exploratory vessel? Surely your talents would be more appreciated there." The steward hands the engineer her drink.
  16. "Point taken, in that case should I make it a double?"
  17. "Certainly sir, I'll see to it." "Genie, are you sure you should be drinking this much on the clock?"
  18. "Right away Mam." "There are several clocks, depending upon if you wish to know what the time is on earth, or Alpha Centauri, or any of the other known astronomical bodies. There's always the ship time as well, speaking of which..." Arthur once more checks on the activities for the day. While checking the schedule, Arthur stops at Ezra Perry's table. "Is there anything I can get you sir?"
  19. "Duly noted, thank you doctor." "I do wonder how many crashes there were, Mr. Hudson..."
  20. Arthur makes an aside to Dr. Frost, "Doctor, you don't happen to carry mild sedatives with you, do you?"
  21. Arthur brings out the mimosa to Representative Sawyer "Your drink, Mam." "Dr. Seymour, I really must insist that you at least keep your pet collared while in the lounge. Our insurance policy, while extensive, does not cover dismemberment by large beasts." "My apologies Mr. Mallory, some of the crew like to squirrel away the latest edition for the coupons. I'll see if I can find you a more current paper." Arthur takes a minute to remind himself of the day's activity schedule.
  22. Yep, you can copy a spreadsheet from google sheets directly into the post editor, like this: I have to figure out how to mess with the resolution though.
  23. "I believe it's more an issue of preparation, not delivering my good sir. Do you cook?" "Ah I see a fan of classic cinema." "See if you can check on the bar-bot while you're at it, Genie. All it wanted to make earlier was Passionfruit Jägerbombs." Arthur makes a note to check the carpets in Oliver's room later as well.
  24. Arthur rolls his eyes ever so slightly at being demoted to bartender, "I'll check in on the bar-bot, mam." Arthur looks with a sigh of relief as the chef joins, "Oh, Chef Baker, thank goodness. I thought I'd be overwhelmed with the number of breakfast orders we're already getting."
  25. "Dr. Seymour, you did read the policy regarding pets and live specimens, I presume? I'd hate the cleaning fees to come as a surprise." Arthur takes a note to double check the carpets in the Zoologist's quarters later. "Now where is that cook..." "Excellent, as you know Blue Star Cruises aim to please."
