No what you should do is get a real anti virus, AVG dropped the ball along time ago, get avast or nod32. Or if you insist, what does it say the virus is, have you googled for the virus. If avg has HEUR at the end, it means its using heuristics, which means its using info to guess for viruses, and mostly a false positive. Its most likely a root kit and avg cant remove it. Also where is it, if its in system restore then the only there is only one way to remove them, you must turn off system restore. Go into virus vault, find exactly where its located, and upload the file here, it will scan and give you the results from an online scan of about 40 different scanners. turn avg off, and any firewalls, and proxys. http://www.virustotal.com/

This will not be on the Wii for 2 reasons. 1. The power needed is far more than the wii can handle. 2. There already is a clone wars game for the wii, which is why the PS3 360 is getting this.

If they wanted to they could, all they need to do is pull the hard drive plug it into a usb2ide and bobs your uncle, its quite easy to do, i got a usb2ide and serial cable off ebay.com.au for 20bucks, anyone who can use a pc can do it, its simply a matter of connecting and copying.

There is no such thing as internal memory cards for the ps3, game saves for the ps2 are saved to hard drive. From what you said it over heated, if it just did the fan in then it wont be a problem, but it more than likely fried your hard drive in which case all your ps2 ps3 saves, dlc, anything you had on there will most likely be gone, unless sony was able to save the data and transfer to the new hard drive. Oh and while we are on it, free fans still would have stopped this from happening to you, its also because you kept playing it while it was too hot, the ps3 makes several noises, a quite hum when idle a louder hum during games, and then a real loud noise when over heated, which is ironic aren't you UK.

Well thats what it is, the ps2 is dying. Anyway back to the topic of current gen consoles. Yeah Killzone 2 is pretty good, i personally recommend the 2 ratchet and clank games, very fun and funny games, with good story, helps if you have played the 4 ps2 games in the series but not important, you just wont get the ending. I also recommend the force unleashed it is spectacular on the ps3 and soul calibur 4.

You can update it, but unless you know what your doing you could make things worse. Judging buy what you said the problem is its old and dying. Why not just buy a new one, you Americans just got a price drop, the ps2 brand new is only $100US.
