  1. I tried my best to copy this Orion Hybrid. I don't like the doors but what can I say... I wish LEGO had created a real "bus type" door for the City Corner set. I could also use them!
  2. I own them all and I have to say that I am really impressed by the Fire Brigade. I think it is my number 1 set followed by the Green Grocer and Cafe Corner. Market Street is a nice set also but I am not a big fan of the way the balconies are built (except the main floor with cool steps) but overall, it is not as exciting as the other ones. I will give credit to its creator (Market Street) because he built it with a rather small selection of parts (when LDD had less bricks to choose from).

    City 2010

I can't understand why is it that in the same theme (LEGO City), TLG will come up with some nice sets such as the little yellow seaplane and the little farm with pigs and a tractor compare to two <insert that tiresome argument> sets like the airport and fire station. The airport looks like it belongs to another theme all together. I understand that TLG targets kids when creating sets but the difference between a couple sets in the same theme is huge... No standard there. :-(

    City 2010

Well, if that is what we are getting in 2010 city line, I will save some money... I don't see myself buying too many of these <insert that tiresome argument> sets. The worst set has to be the airport. I can't beleive it still. Huge parts and looks too much like playmobile... The fire station is pretty dull too with huge parts and a way too simple design. The tanker is looking good althought it has too many large parts for the back. The helicopter is on the other hand looking great, even if it has a huge front piece. The fire boat is okay I guess but nothing exciting. The little farm and seaplane are great but overall, 2010 looks like a disapointment for me.
  5. WoW! That house is ssoo cool. Nice porch. That would be a perfect little LEGO neighborhood if combined with your blue and yellow houses. I think that the LEGO City line should have a couple of these. Clearly, LEGO town has a lot of workplaces but not too many homes! Good Job.
  6. I own this set and love it. It reminds me of my first LEGO sets early 1980's with a touch of modern LEGO. The downside for me is the huge walls used for the buildings. They are probably cost effective for TLG but you are getting 1 big piece instead of a wall of smaller parts. Also, on the bus file (could not wait for that one since I drive a real bus!)... Well, it is nice to finally have a bus but it seems like a lot of efforts were put on the windshield issue (with closed corners) instead of the doors... Too bad. It would have been so nice to get two small (2 wide) doors to close like they do on real buses. I have never seen a bus with doors opening like that yellow one built buy TLG. BUT, we will take it as it is because it seems like ages since we saw a city bus in Lego City! :-)
  7. Oustanding! It would fit very well with the new Fire Brigade set! Great details. Love the ladder and black pipes. WoW,
  8. Thanks for the review. I think it is a great set. On the other hand, I think it would have been nice to get a house instead of a truck (one more truck). The Vesta promo set was great for the house ( I think ) ... It is not like LEGO is running out of trucks or anything. :-) Anyways, I still think that this set is very original and I will probably buy it.
  9. Very nice plant. This is an unusual MOC that not too many people think of building. This is a great addition to a train layout as well. You came up with a good idea that is a great change from the buildings and vehicules that most people stick to... Good Work.
  10. Wow, this is truly a nice house. If only it would have a bit of landscape, it could be a real set for sale! I would buy that one in a heartbeat...
  11. Nice Pizza Shop! I noticed that LDD prices are on the rise as well. It is nice that they added a lot of new bricks, finally! This would be an awesome little city set! How much would it be without the truck, do you know? Good job Prateek!
  12. Wow, that is quite a construction project. I think it is the first time I see so many pink bricks all at once! I really like the idea! Good Work!

    Flower Shop

Very nice MOC my firends Asya & Bobby Otters! The interior has so many little details, it is amazing! I for sure, love the exterior as well. The truck is also a good addition to the whole set. I would love to go buy some flowers at your LEGO flower shop! Good Job.
  14. V-LB-1F & B-OV-15A This is a City Bus I have made with LDD. I finally got the parts to build it. You can see more of it here: It is also in action here: Thank you! :-)
  15. Well... It was pretty expensive... The Car Wash was $62.00 CAD (around $50.00 USD) and the Gas Station close to $108.00 CAD (around $87.00 USD). Total of $137.00 USD + TAXES + SHIPPING... Crazy! The Car Wash has 341 pieces and Gas Station has 643. I will try to put the two togheter in the coming days and I will get a few shots of them as a whole. Thanks for the kind comments.
  16. B-OV-9D Here are two photos of the Car Wash I have built with LDD. It goes right besides my Gas Station which is already on this forum. For more photos of the car wash, you may go to: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=375367 Thank you!
  17. Thanks for the comments guys. It did take a lot of time to create with LDD but in the end, it looked good. I wanted to make it look like a real set you could buy. I now have the photos of the Car Wash that goes with the Gas Station. I will post a few photos. Thanks again.
  18. I was never a big fan of the Police Command Center (7743) from LEGO but your set should be the replacement set for LEGO to sell. I would buy it in a heartbeat!
  19. Very nice bike Asya & Bobby! It looked like a one piece bike but when I looked closely, I saw a great deal of detail! The photo where the minifigure is sitting close to the bike is so cool! Great job on the twin pipes! :-)
  20. Well, my firend Hinckley sorry for the contents of my posts. I see that I am not of your caliber. As I can see here, this forum is for fun and most people here do have fun. I see that it has to be highly regulated. I guess that there is only one thing to do for me. I will close my account. I did not know that you had to be that much serious to play with LEGO.
  21. well, if you read between the lines in my "I want some orange juice now" comment, it suggests that I like the MOC. Instead of saying beautiful MOC, I chose the orange juice line and I am sure that our friend Asya & Bobby understood that I like his creation.
  22. I want some orange juice!
  23. It is funny you should mention Chicago because I was there last summer and I tought that a lot of the BP gas stations were super nice and they gave me the inspiration to build that one! I took a long walk and came accross a very nice one on N. Clark street that I really liked... Take a look... <http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&ie=UTF8&om=1&ll=41.912745,-87.6329&spn=0.001451,0.002403&t=k&z=19>

    Tatra 815

Very nice truck! I checked out your flickr link and all of the other photos are nice! Great job! I want that Czech truck now!

    City '09?

I agree with both of you guys. I think it would be nice if LEGO would come up with another bus, perhaps a double-decker bus or an articulated bus with the same colour theme and a bus stop / bus terminal. It would make it interesting to buy since that the second bus would be a different model but in the same company...
