  1. I am thinking of buying Emerald Night and I wonder if I should... I don't think I would buy the power function pack, just the train set... Can anyone tell me if the train alone is worth it?
  2. Wow, that is quite a setup. I have a lot of the sets you have but I never built them all at once. It now gives me an idea on how the whole thing would look like! It is always to build but when you have to take it all apart... ouch... My fingers hurt already! Good job on your town.
  3. Very nice MOC. I really like the size of your crane / truck which fits the rest of the city line. Nice job on the supports too. I really like it.
  4. This is a great addition to a one of my favorites set. It gives the main floor an athmosphere and makes it look like a little bistro. Too bad LEGO did not go for an interior with that set. I am sure glad you did!
  5. This is my all-time favorite Creator set. A ferry of that size even sits well with a city layout as you can almost fot the minifigures in the upper deck. If you debate if you should buy this set or not, do it before its gone.
  6. This is outstanding! I really love it. I love the building and the landscape. Well done.

    City 2010

Well, I really hope we are getting something else than a truck stop. At least, like you say lightningtiger, if it is a truck stop was to be, let's hope it is a bus station as well. In my opinion, there is no shortage of trucks in our LEGO world. Why add more? We are getting a new one (LEGO/TRU) in 2010 and I assume that if a truck stop was to be the fan choice, it would probably include another truck or towing... Don't get me wrong, I like all LEGO trucks but at this point, I really hope we are getting something else...
  8. Wow, your ALL BLACK SWAT truck is soo cool! Very impressive. Everybody will keep calm in your LEGO city!
  9. Very good looking crane Kalahere! I really like the front bumper and your choice of wheels. This would make for a nice LEGO city set! Awesome!
  10. Wow, very nice house. It looks like a real set too! I love the size of it too. Great job.
  11. Thanks for the review. I own this set as well and I think it was well designed. It is a bit too big I think. Does not matter, this is a one of a kind set which is worth buying.
  12. I now own this nice chopper and have to say that I got over the big nose part! Very nice set and it is close to the real deal... The 2010 lineup is good after all!
  13. WoW! I love your beetle. Aside from the new Small Car set, LEGO should have came up with a mini beetle for the city line just like the VW Beetle 10187. One in a while, cars that are out of the ordinary should get a city LEGO set. Meanwhile, yours does the job for me!
  14. I am no plane expert either but this is a great plane for sure! I really like the colors you chose. Great job!
  15. Really cool truck. I really like the chain idea. Good Job.
  16. Good Job! The windows on the first floor are quite interesting... There is a high rise here in Ottawa that has a similar style of window. I always tought it was a different style and it looks good on a smaller scale building. I like it.
  17. I have a lot of favorites... I have to say that overall, the Town Plan 10184 is probably the most complete and most of fun one to build. In the city line per say, City Corner 7641 has to be my favorite one. It reminds me of my 1980's firsts sets. I love it also for the fact that it includes a city bus... I am sold to this set just for the first bus in years (I drive a real city bus for a living...).
  18. Thanks for the review Doctor Sinister. I really like that helicopter set. I was never a big fan of those large nose parts but I guess I got used to them. This is a great addition to the city line and a major improvement over the 4900 Fire helicopter (2008) or 7238 Fire Helicopter (2005). It is more in line with the helicopter in set 7738 Coast Guard Helicopter & Life Raft (2008) as it is closer to what a real chopper looks like, at least that is what I think...
  19. Wow, that is quite a review, thank you DarthPineapple. For once, I have to say that a review changed my mind on a set. I had doubts in buying this set but the photos of the truck made me like it. I still wonder what that truck is since I don't think I ever saw one in reality ... I kind of like the robust style and kind of military aspect of this truck. I might end up buying one even if I am not to sure it will fit in my LEGO city (scale problem)... Thanks for the review.
  20. Good Job. It looks really like a real set! This could be an new set in the farm theme as selection is quite limited (I think). Your MOC is a very good idea.
  21. Good work. Well tought. That would make for a nice LEGO set (flatbed instead of tow truck)...
  22. This new plane is okay I guess. There is always a few sets where you scratch your head and wonder where they came from. The 3178 Seaplane and the Fire Truck with boat (7213) are two of them in my opinion. Its a great little plane but the Air Mail 7732 was a better model. It is somehow a great addition to a LEGO city but in my opinion, we could have got something more city like as opposed to a water plane for cottage country. I am just being difficult here. I will buy it anyway.
  23. I am currently working on a massive building and I am taking photos of the whole project a little like what that person did: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=318131 (I credit him for the idea and congratulate him on taking on a huge and very interesting project.) So, I started building several construction vehicules and I have built two little forklifts that are really close to the one in set 7733 but with a different color theme and a few different parts. I just wanted to share that one with you. Hopefully, I will get my shots on flickr in the near future...
  24. Awesome work. We don't get too many hospitals in our LEGO world.... Yours is a great piece of work!
  25. I am a big fan of LEGO City but I just found in love. I will buy that set for sure! Good job LEGO!
