  1. Finally some good news for 2020! - I know he's in everything but I love Harry's new torso. Nice jacket. - Luna looks fun with the lion hat. I'm curious to see her torso design. - Took me a while to realise its Griphook. Yea a moulded head would be better for him. His torso seems nice. - Bellatrix, would prefer her in signature black dress instead of prison attire. Can't wait to know who else will be in this second CMF wave. So much HP stuff to look forward to going into 2020. Thank you Lego HP for making 2020 suck less.
  2. The nunchuck is not made up of several parts. So unfortunately, we're not getting a really short bar element. But it is a chain without studs at both ends.
  3. brickonaute.fr reviewed the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
  4. It aint supercar if the wheels don't look the part. My family sedan have sportier proportioned wheels than this GTR.
  5. Set 60256 ... the #4 car. The front, grille design of that car is brilliant. Is that element no. 28326 vehicle mudguard in red being used there?
  6. Doesn't help too that the Ferrari F8 is the most beautiful Ferrari ever made. Thats why 8-stud shift bothers me. The minifig already looks a bit small next the classic Mini. Buildings and trucks can be MOC-ed bigger to make 8-stud vehicles look good. Not minifigs though.
  7. I'm dying to see the Ferrari's minifigure. And LEGO is like, let's make sure to hide the minifigure in all the pictures.
  8. Before the hi-res photos, Gamer guy was my number one pick but not anymore. I feel exactly the same way as you do about the jacket and t-shirt. So from the top of my list, its now off it.
  9. Had my first close look at Hidden Sides main minifigs from MandRproductions youtube review. I've been waiting to see Jack's torso without the dual molded hoodie+cap. What a disappointment. The design and the printing quality is awful. The white shirt is flat with no details at all. And as expected from LEGO lately, they avoid printing yellow/flesh colour neck area as much as possible. I've seen better torso design from chinese knockoffs.
  10. Haha I gotta admit I have no idea. I'm happy tho that you love it. I prefer cmf to have a variety of minifigs, a bit of something for everyone. Much better than all costumes, animal, monsters or certain licensed theme. As a non collector, I'll be happy to find one or two minifigs I like in every series.
  11. Videogame guy - Until I see hi-res pics, this one is at the top of my list. The controller looks nice. But the green hair sucks. Dog walker girl - I like the torso print. I would change the arms to TLBM2 CMF Alfred (the one with striped swimsuit) to match the shirt. The cap if I'm right, is a dual molded cap+hair combo? I love this part and here it is even better, a decorated element. Also she has two dog molds which I've yet to have. Now I get both the pug and sausage dog. The biker girl and flamingo lady is too colourful, gaudy. Something like what the programmer girl wears would suit today's taste better. All the others is an easy pass for me. I only buy city themed minifigs. LEGO ain't cheap for me so I can't go all crazy. I can't wait to see hi-res photos.
  12. Funny thing about the graveyard and beaubaxton carriage sets ... I really didn't see it coming. I was basically at legoleaks instagram several times a day anticipating the 2019 wave. Then out of nowhere these two sets went from zero to official photos. Pleasant surprise neverhtless.
  13. Recent ... I can't help but feel LEGO is not printing light flesh colour for the neck part in torso assemblies.
  14. I wonder if Harry's torso assembly in advent calendar ... a new or existing element?
  15. You are right. I just realised it's the leg assembly used for the recent Snape minifig. And General Hux of Star Wars. Well as long as it complement the torso designs, all is well.
  16. Why does Cornelius and Cedric has the same leg assembly? It does match their torso assembly nicely though.
  17. Maxine ... nicely printed front and back, torso and leg. Makes me think tho ... if only CMF Trelawney were given the same effort on her back printing ... she would be perfect.
  18. LEGO rebooting HP theme was a pleasant surprise to me. Grateful for it? Yes. Expecting great designs? Always. That would be an even greater disappointment.
  19. Ron's Yule Ball torso ... Only if there's a leg assembly to complement it. No matter how good a torso is, if it has shitty legs that doesn't match, its a waste.
  20. Leaked Sirius minifig ... His chest is white? I noticed recently LEGO has skipped printing flesh tones on neck/chest portion of the torso.
  21. I just saw leaked photo of Ernie Prang minifig. Wow! I really like it. Better than the first version imo. His bald piece with with white hair will mix really well with faces with white facial hair. The bald 80yo grandpa with white hair look has not been better until now. I also like Prang's torso assembly very much. Simple, nice and very usable. Leaked photo of Cedric ... first-task? ... minifig is how the first quidditch minifigs should be .... torso, hip and leg design continuation. The leg assembly printed with the lower part of the robe.
  22. No doubt at all its President Biz for me. The lovely torso design is so useful in city theme. Accessory wise ... Emmet hair+headphones piece, Tinman's funnel hat, dark grey terrier dog and golf club. As a non-collector, I like stuff that I can reuse in MOCs.
  23. Thanks for the great review again. I'm glad there's variety in this CMF. Something for everyone, a bit like how previous CMF sets used to be. I prefer them over sets like Series 18 or Monsters series. And it's nice to see 3 of each. None of that chase minifig bs. There's only 1 minifig which is a must-buy for me. Golfing president. An awesome addition to my collection of CITY themed folks. Emmet's dual molded hair+headphone piece is one new element I really like. But my dislike for Emmet's awfully bland minifig design really bugs me. I'll wait for the hairpiece to appear on BL instead. I will most likely buy Dorothy too, for the short sleeved light-flesh arms and cement colour dog.
