Mafia School: Cirque du Freak C&D
Hinckley replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Dude! Such grammar from a native English speaker? Shame! And where's your question mark? I'm embarrassed for all of us... Oh God! And the spelling, too! And no question mark again! What did punctuation ever do to you? -
Mod note: If you are satisified with your vote, please start getting your Night Actions in. The sooner you get them in, the sooner Day Two can start. Please keep in mind that the term "Shared Action Mafia game" means that all actions are shared amongst all players. The Actions are shared in that anyone can select them by choosing a meal. You will have an Action one day that another player may have the next, therefore shared. It does not mean you can swap your actions with other players after you have selected your meal. Thank you.

Force of habit.
-
Mod note: You may now vote. You have 24 hours to reach a conviction. With 17 players, it takes 9 votes to lynch. The person with the most votes will be lynched.

Should we cheer to later instead? Oh, you must've meant too soon. Is this how you needed me to help out? By making fun of your grammar? I'm just kidding. Your English is fantastic. Better than most American kiddies on here. Ha ha jerks. That's right. I said it. What? -

Prison Riot! Confirmation and Discussion Thread
Hinckley replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So, only a couple of people didn't get a meal from their first three choices. Thanks to those who responded so quickly to the list! That went rather smoothly. I'm sure tomorrow will be a different story as people start to learn what the meals do...but, if people are paying attention like they did today, I believe it will go well. I know some of this may seem a little crazy and I may seem like I have a screw loose, but if everyone keeps 100% dedicated to playing as if it were a full game, I'll have an idea if my concept works! Keep up the great work, guys. Thanks! You're becoming our resident character actor. -
"What's this chatter I hear of forcing a tie? What, what, what? Well... I supposed I can't do much about it. Intergalactic Prisoner's Rights and The Universal Fair Prison Act bar me from killing any of you for forcing ties in a post-riot lynch situation. I suppose it will make me very grumpy! And I get gassy when I get grumpy! Of course, since I usually appear to you as a hologram, that won't really affect any of you. And then sitting in my gassy office will just make me more grumpy...which will make me even gassier..." Elles Fissionfire temporarily mutes the holo projectors. "He'll go on like that for some time. So, it appears there will be no penalty if you decide to force a tie."

Prison Riot! Confirmation and Discussion Thread
Hinckley replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Day One thread is up. Scouts, I swear I'll stop picking on you about the NPC thing. I'm just having fun with you. I've beat the dead horse now. -
Players Only Please! Tensions in Cheleb Mensa Prison are high. Warden Bek Sunfell is using the old tactic of turning the inmates on each other in order to find the culprits of a deadly riot. Foog Roorum lashes out at Cuxun Marsburst while NPC Officer Cometfire Vun tries to break up the interaction. Scar Mimitsus happily points to the people he can place a vote for. "I get it!" He proclaims. Tierro Prius and Derwar Gravis communicate with a space demon via a digital ouija board. Warden Bek Sunfell has removed the holographic pieces from the holo-chess board as punishment for the riot. Rirsol Maasym and Whindum Foxum struggle to remember where they placed their imaginary pieces. The odd tension is finally broken by the image of Warden Bek Sunfell on the holo-screen. Note: The Meal Cart will come to you via PM. Non Playing Characters Warden Bek Sunfell Officer Elles Fissionfire Doctor Koukiu Stormdream Officer Lazer Strewn Officer Cometfire Vun The Players Bate Cos (Big Cam) Crime: Tax evasion. One of the most diabolical gangsters in the Panty Galaxy. After decades of organized crime, Bate finally made an error on his tax return in the amount of 23 space cents. Sentence: 80 years in prison. Eligible for parole in 60. In the meantime, however, Bate complains of being haunted by his first wife, who he murdered for talking to the GBI (Galactic Bureau of Investigation) Cuxun Marsburst (CorneliusMurdock) Crime: Kindness. Cuxun is from the Dickhead Galaxy where it’s illegal to be nice. Sentence: Death. Unfortunately, the Dickheads have zero tolerance for nice people. Derwar Gravis (def) Crime: Cannabalism. Derwar is an unknown species and nobody knows where he comes from. His favorite meal is mammal and he committed over 100 murders before he was apprehended. Sentence: Life. No eligibility for parole. Drakius Knight (Dragonator) Crime: Chain Mail. Drakius is one of those megablocks who sends those stupid Chain E-mails. Sentence: Death. The sentence is rather lenient for such a douchebag. Foog Roorum (Fugazi) Crime: Murder. Foog has a mental condition where he has an unsatiable urge to break bones…and smash skulls…and smother people. He was convicted on 23 counts of murder in the Judtron and Mebo Systems. Sentence: 23 consecutive life sentences. No eligibility for parole. Illiap Reertu (iamded) Crime: Theft. Illiap was on a roll, robbing many pit stops in the Amy System. The Police were baffled at how she was able to avoid capture for so long. Until she tried to steal a bottle of vodka from one of the pit stops. The clerk doubted she was of legal drinking age, so she showed him her ID, which has her Intergalactic vehicle tracking code. She was apprehended 20 minutes later. Sentence: 50 years. Eligible for parole in 30. Jissaleh Blazen (JimButcher) Crime: Stupidity. Jissaleh is from the ZubZub System where it is illegal to have a low IQ. Mayonnaise beat Jissaleh at the ZubZub IQ test. Sentence: Life. No eligibility for parole. Killoopio Daylight (KielDaMan) Crime: Murder. Killoopio is an explosives expert…who hates people. Killoopio went on a murder spree in the Lucas System, disguising bombs as Cheeseburgers. 58 overweight fast food guests were killed before he was apprehended. Sentence: Life. No eligibility for parole. Pronti Flavior (Professor Flitwick) Crime: Pronti is a college professor turned drug dealer. A long series of hardships led her to the accidental murder of a Police Officer in the Fuckwit System. Sentence: Life. No eligibility for parole. Rirsol Maasym (Rick) Crime: Murder. Rirsol hates junkies. But, his only trade is drug dealing. He laced the space meth he was selling with poison to wipe out those junkies he hated so much. When he ran out of customers, he turned himself in. Sentence: Life. Eligible for parole in 80 years. Luckily for Rirsol, his species lives for 300 years, on average. Rufulzud Novadora (Rufus/Pandora) Crime: Insanity. Rufulzud has a split personality disorder. Unfortunately for him/her, he/she settled in the Cameron System where it’s illegal to have a mental disorder. Rufulzud’s personalities also alternate between robbing banks and dealing drugs. Sentence: 20 years. Eligible for parole in 5. Saproton Veeck (Sandy) Crime: Murder. Saproton is a feared street shark from the Babonda System. A natural predator with an eye for travel, his hunting was mistaken for murder. Sentence: Life. No eligibility for parole. Scar Mimitsus (Scouts) Crime: Election fraud. Scar was a Campaign Manager for a very popular politician in the Pelly System. When his candidate was threatened by a rival and the election was dangerously close, Scar invented a third-party candidate that was, in-fact a Non-Playing Character. Sentence: Life. No eligibility for parole. Shadowghost Sturch (Shadows) Crime: Also, known as "Death Swirly." Convicted on 18 counts of drowning people in toilets. Sentence: 18 consecutive life sentence. No eligibility for parole. Also, court-ordered to admit daily to being kind of a dick. Tierro Prius (TinyPiesRUs) Crime: Mass Murder, classified as Hate Crimes. Tierro hates blue people and left a trail of dead blue bodies across the Universe. Not blue from suffocation. They were blue to begin with. She was finally being apprehended, ironically in the Tolerance System. Sentence: Five years. Causing a bit of controversy throughout the Universe, the judge who presided over Tierro’s trial was her bigot sister. Whindum Foxum (WhiteFang) Crime: Mass Murder, Hubris and Fraud. Whindum convinced 40 individuals in the Fanglish System that he was a messenger of God. They gave their life savings to him and he convinced them that suicide was the way to commune with God. He’d have gotten away with it if his narcissistic tendencies hadn’t gotten the best of him. The GBI (Galactic Bureau of Investigation) setup a fake tabloid interview where he was intervened. Sentence: Death. Unfortunately for Whindum, Hubris is punishable by death in the Fanglish System. Zosma (Zepher) Crime: Cannabalism. Zosma believes himself to be a werewolf, but that will never never be true. Sentence: Life. Eligible for parole in 80 years. Fortunately for Zosma, his species has an average lifespan of 1000 years. Alternate Inconspicuous ______________________________ Rules Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town (Model Inmates) or the Scum (Gang Members). To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. Each day you will vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). Proxy voting is allowed, with the format Proxy: Character (Player) and Unproxy: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. The player with the most votes will be lynched. In the case of a tie, no lynch will take place. Voting is mandatory. Failure to vote will result in the untimely death of your character. Please remember that the reason for the delay is that players all reside in different Time Zones. It is usually unfair to a player to log in and find themselves voted out. Accusations should occur during the first 24 hours as a courtesy to the accused to defend themselves before voting starts. A game day will last 48 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end after 48 hours. After the day has been concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last 24 hours (or 48 hours if an emergency comes up). You are required to use your action. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 20 hours of the night stage. You may not choose the same meal two days in a row. Players may not target themselves. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the host via PM. That includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. Metagaming should similarly be done at your own risk. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. You may not edit your posts. You must post in every day thread. Violation of the above rules will result in the untimely death of your character. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM

Thanks Peanuts! I had a list of 23 possible invites, but the first 18 said yes! Sorry. I do hope you guys enjoy watching. -
Surprised to see a Mafia Game starting? This is an Invite Only Mafia Experiment. I'd like to try something along the lines of Def's Shared Actions concept. I'm not saying I can do it better than him, that's why it's being labeled as an untested concept. That way, I hope nobody will be mad if it crashes and burns and ends in 2 days. But, I did select 17 people who had been most active and analytical in the last few games. To test the concept, I need to make sure it's being played. Shared Actions Concept So, here goes: This is what I need everyone to try to do. The "meds" have been replaced with meals in this game. The Meal Cart will go by at the beginning of each day. Meals will be chosen in a specific order listed at the beginning of each game day. In addition to the order of selection, I will ask each player to send in a list of their top 3 meal choices with their Night Action. That way, the list can continue if one of a player's top three choices are available. The list will only be held up if one of those three meals is not available. Town and Scum are all required to use the Night Action they select. Questions? I'm sure there will be. As a Night Zero Action, please send me a list of your top three choices for meals from this list: Meal Cart List Salisbury Steak Fish Sticks Carrot Cake Peach Cobbler Chocolate Chip Pancakes Cheeseburger Boiled Sauerkraut Rice & Beans Macaroni & Cheese Grilled Steak Grilled Chicken Mashed Potatoes Bread & Water Eggs & Bacon Spaghetti Pepperoni Pizza Mixed Fruit Now, on with the game: In the outer regions of the Universe lies the desolate Van Hath System. A dying star harbors the small planet Zaj Rortou, unable to sustain a civilization due to it's harsh environment and killer climates. This is where the prison Cheleb Mensa was built, a prison to hold the most dangerous criminals in the Universe. A month ago a terrible riot broke out in the prison. The prisoners have been on lockdown ever since. Today, lockdown is over and Warden Bek Sunfell is bound and determined to find the culprits behind the riot and put an end to the gang activity in Cheleb Mensa. Fraulein Bloodbrick: The Conclusion
Hinckley replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I didn't say it earlier, but I guess I should be very clear: just because I felt Cornelius was ignored by def's original comments doesn't mean I didn't think Pandufus and Kiel didn't work their megablocks off. Pandufus especially was clearly totally dedicated to solving this game. I like how hard they play and the Scum was constantly frustrated by them totally figuring everything out at every turn. And as long as I'm clearing the air about things, I'll make a public apology to Rick about something stupid I did. I got more paranoid playing Scum, moreso even than when I'm Town which we all know is paranoia at ridiculous heights. In trying to play "Town Hinck" I went on with Pandufelius about missing Rick because he's always my closest ally. I was paranoid enough to think it necessary to send Rick a message post-death still playing like I was Town. It was a stupid move and it was above and beyond what was necessary. So, sorry about that Rick. It was stupid. For the first two days of the game, I had a lot of fun trying to "figure it out" with Pandufelius, even though I knew what was going on already. I oftentimes forgot I was lying, because we were having fun. That's an odd place to be when you're lying and you begin to believe it. It's part of the game and the strategy I chose for being Scum, play "Town Hinck." It is part of the game and that's what Scum is supposed to do though. Still, it's not fun when someone gets hurt. Sorry to anyone whose feelings I hurt. I really can't express enough how my earlier comments glossed over the fact that Pandufus were the people we were most afraid of. If they got that Peach Cobbler one more time, I was going to throw my computer. I also agree that if they saw a walrus kill Alopex, they probably would've gotten the rest of the Scum. I totally understand the frustration of wanting consistent information from the host. I would've expressed this more earlier, but don't want to start anything with def. Def, you brought us an awesome game and it was highly enjoyable. I appreciate how you try to help the EB Mafia Community learn and grow. And I also appreciate all the players who dedicate themselves to playing these games. -

Yeah, that's weird, Scouts. You're even on the list in the Mafia Index. Congrats to Flitwick and Murdock! Especially to Murdock who I've worked closely with in the last three games I played. Congrats Scouty on getting it twice. -

I followed everything you said except for this. Did the gun inventor clear Big Cam? I don't remember arguing against that. Perhaps my brain is all locked up. -
Fraulein Bloodbrick: The Conclusion
Hinckley replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hilarity. I just thought Pelly had some greater purpose or some method for clue-giving like Henry. I was just wondering how he worked with the Game Mechanics. How was he able to give Cornelius a clue? Would he have given other clues? What were we supposed to ask him to get a clue? Why did he always seem like he was trying to say something when the night thread started? You know, that sort of point... -

So did Pelly give other clues to people? How did it work? What was Pelly's point? -
Fraulein Bloodbrick: The Conclusion
Hinckley replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yes! But, I even found it odd that Pelly was listed with the regular players and Fr. Bloodbrick was not. Perhaps that was because he was giving people clues at night. What clues did he give? I asked Jim to try to get something from him because it seemed like only female players could (the day ended with the females approaching him) but you told Jim Pelly didn't use PM. We converted Draggy because we assumed nobody would think def would make me, Shadows and Draggy Scum. I did want to recruit either Cornelius or Pandufus. Kiel was my choice from the beginning and I considered badboy when he found me out. Ultimately, the Draggy idea won everyone's vote. It was a good idea from Shadows to convert him and it worked out perfectly. He got the Paint Thinner and could cover up the use of it for one more day...
