  1. Is the MOC being discussed a Green Grocer or a Pirate set? No. You've made your point and it's been answered repeatedly. Our moderators take a lot of time to keep this forum running smoothly. Perhaps you should let it go unless you see Spongebob wielding a lightsaber in a MOC in this forum. Where's the line? Somewhere between the fanon ships you're referencing and Spongebob wielding a lightsaber. We'll name the line if we ever need to get to it. In the mean time, I trust the moderators we've put in place. If they don't bother you, why create a poll and keep arguing about it?
  2. Voting may commence.
  3. The Warden agonizes into the night over whether or not to accept the illegal vote. "Why can't stupid megablocks just vote using the correct format in the first place?" He asks. "On the one hand," Warden Bek Sunfell ponders, "The vote was placed in the wrong format, a cardinal sin if I've ever seen one. The rules clearly state that 'no other form will be accepted.'" "And yet, I missed an illegal vote earlier that would've made a difference," Warden Sunfell continues, "and the vote was corrected after the end of 36 hours, although the rules still stated the day would be 48 hours long." "If only my sister hadn't come to surprise me for my birthday, I could've paid better attention." The Warden concludes...well, kind of doesn't conclude. The Warden becomes so confused a crazy hair pops out of the top of his head... "Oh look!" Warden Bek Sunfell cries as he turns around, "That one got killed anyway, so I suppose it doesn't matter. Good thing that got resolved. I have to make the morning announcement soon! Officer Vun! Officer Fissionfire! There's another body to clean up!" Officer Cometfire Vun and Officer Elles Fissionfire clean up the body of Pronti Flavior. "You're awful quiet," Officer Fissionfire says, "Aren't you going to ask me out?" "Would you say yes?" Officer Vun asks. "No." Officer Fissionfire answers. "Would you have said 'yes' if I asked when we first started?" Officer Vun asks, "Did I just mess up? Were you going to say 'yes' today? I'm sorry. My mind wandered. Can we start over, please?" Everyone gathers to hear the morning announcement from Warden Bek Sunfell. "Why is Sully never with us in the morning?" Scar Mimitsus asks, "Is he nocturnal or something? I miss him... " Day Six has begun. You may not vote in the first 12-14 or so hours. The Meal Cart will come to you via PM later today. To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. To win, you must kill off all other factions. Each day you will vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). Proxy voting is allowed, with the format Proxy: Character (Player) and Unproxy: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. The player with the most votes will be lynched. In the case of a tie, no lynch will take place. Voting is mandatory. Failure to vote will result in the untimely death of your character. Please remember that the reason for the delay is that players all reside in different Time Zones. It is usually unfair to a player to log in and find themselves voted out. Accusations should occur during the first 12 hours as a courtesy to the accused to defend themselves before voting starts. A game day will last 48 hours. You may not vote in the first 12 hours. The day will end after 48 hours. After the day has been concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last 24 hours (or 48 hours if an emergency comes up). You are required to use your action. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 20 hours of the night stage. You may not choose the same meal two days in a row. Players may not target themselves. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the host via PM. That includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. Metagaming should similarly be done at your own risk. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. You may not edit your posts. You must post in every day thread. Violation of the above rules will result in the untimely death of your character. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM
  4. Sully and Scar slow dance the night away...
  5. People, why does this rule have to keep being repeated? If I was hosting this, I would fail everyone who posted a question about the game mechanics here. Topic once again closed.
  6. Yay! Now that I've had a minute to look everything over, I was wrong. No matter what happens, the outcome would be the same. So, that makes it a lot easier and I feel a lot better. The new game day will be up soon. Probably in about 12 hours. Thanks everybody for their patience!
  7. Not this one, though. You are encouraged to enter the DC legosuperheroes.com contest as well, but it is not a requirement. Post them in this thread please. Sorry. Rules are rules. We'll have other raffles in the future. Stick around!
  8. Sorry about that. I do see that you're from Norway so I try not to judge too hard. In my experience, people from the Scandinavian countries speak and write very good English. I meant no harm in anything I said. I was mostly playing the character badboy added. Not to mention, there's no harm in a little learning.
  9. To be quite honest, I need to know too. Why can't people just vote in the correct format the first time? I have to make a fair decision, but with all of the Night Actions in, the "fair" decision dictates who dies. Oh hosting... I have a few things to consider. Twice before in this game, players voted in an incorrect format and I still counted them. And although, I said the day would only last 36 hours in a mod note and in the discussion thread, the game rules posted in the first post still say it lasts 48 hours. Zepher's corrected vote format came in after the end of 36 hours, but since I was out with my family for my birthday, I wasn't able to actually close the thread until four hours later. Instinct, considering those things, would dictate to let the votes stand as they were intended. However, I did post a vote tally that didn't count the votes, and it was pointed out by other players that the rules say only one format will be accepted for voting. So, unfortunately, I have a decision to make here that will seriously alter the outcome of the game. As usual, I will do my best to be fair to everyone. But, I just wanted to let you all know what I'm considering and why. Please put yourself in my shoes for a moment if this seems overly frustrating from your point of view. I am definitely trying to do my best to consider what the players must be thinking and feeling. Thank you. One thing I've learned is this format requires a high amount of attention and vigilance to the host. However, one thing this game has accomplished is framing the game in a team format. Everyone is playing this game 100% and every person involved, even those who didn't like the idea or my execution of the idea, has completely dedicated themselves to their team. That's one thing I was hoping to do with this game, remind people how to play for a team, but I didn't expect everyone to dedicate themselves so much. I was a little more worried people would care a little less about an experiment, but I couldn't be happier that this has been tackled with 100% dedication and concentration...and passion from every player involved. Thanks again everybody! Even with a confusing decision to make, I'm still loving this game.
  10. With my family still in town, I won't be able to post Day Six until Friday. Sorry for the delay! Thank you all for your patience.
  11. vote tally Scar Mimitsus (Scouty) 1 vote (iamded) Pronti Flavior (Professor Flitwick) 3 votes (Scouty, KielDaMan, TinyPiesRUs)
  12. This is already being discussed here. Please search before posting. Thank you.
  13. I'd like to sincerely thank everyone for putting so much into this game so far. I haven't thanked individuals as they've left the game or started a dead writeboard because I've been encouraging players to continue to play with their team and help strategize, etc. To those who haven't kept following along, and those who have, thanks so much for being part of this little mafia experience. I know a lot of people are frustrated and I'm ready to hear a lot of feedback at the end. However, I can't wait, also, to talk about how much fun this game has been from my perspective! I hope we can figure out how to iron out some of these kinks after the conclusion, but it's been so much fun to watch the drama unfold! Even if Prison Riot becomes synonymous with Witch Hunt, I will always love this game. It's been really fun for me so far. Thanks for taking a chance and trying something new and being so dedicated to it. You guys are all kick-megablocks awesome!
  14. Since the lines are distinctly drawn in the sand, you may vote whenever you like. The day will end 26 hours from now.
  15. No...why? Nope! This is not what this thread is for. There's a Buy, Sell, Trade Forum for haggling. Out with you.
  16. Sorry about the boring night.
  17. Players only please! It is late at night and Whindum Foxum has a splitting headache. Doctor Stormdream is not around to help him so he explains to the warden how bad the headache is and how it's affecting his daily activities. "No worries," Warden Bek Sunfell says, "Before Lazer disappeared he had just adjusted this disintegration gun to act as a head-ache-curer-gun!" "I think I know how to use it," the warden says as he aims the weapon, "Close your eyes!" "Wait, no!" Whindum Foxum protests. But, it's too late. Whindum Foxum is now a pile of space dust and some smoking body parts. "What happened here?" Doctor Koukiu Stormdream cries when he stumbles upon the scene. "Spontaneous Composting?" The warden guesses. "That's combustion!" The doctor shouts. "Well, you're the doctor." The warden answers, "Your diagnosis is probably correct." After "lights out" Bate Cos wanders around muttering to himself about 23 cents and his wife being on his megablocks or some weird megablocks like that. He is so concentrated on his grumpy mutterings, he doesn't see the shadowy figure creeping up behind him like a cheap pair of underwear. And now it's too late! The dark assailant has drove a shiv through Bate Cos's thick skin and left him for dead. It's over quickly as Bate Cos bleeds out on the prison floor. Foog Roorum is out for an evening stroll, which admittedly makes no sense since the cells are normally locked at lights out, but here he is. You can't argue with photographic evidence. He's out strolling and stumbles upon the body of Bate Cos. He's so shocked by the sight, he doesn't see Drakius Knight, armed with a shiv and sneaking up behind him. Drakius pounces and barely makes a dent in Foog's thick hide. The space-troll doesn't notice. So, Drakius climbs up Foog's spiked back and drives the shiv into the back of his skull. The space-troll collapses with a loud "THUD!" onto the body of Bate Cos. Foog Roorum quickly bleeds to death. As Drakius Knight slides down the dead space-trolls back he wonders out loud, "Why am I being shown when I was successful in killing my target?" A quick shiv to the gut from a mysterious assailant provides the answer. "Doesn't anybody here bleed a normal color?" Drakius asks, rhetorically, as he expires in the ever-growing pile of bodies on the prison floor. "What a torrid love affair this must've been!" Officer Elles Fissionfire exclaims, "Perhaps we overdid it with the contraband yesterday!" "I got tickets to see Jurassic Park 18!" Officer Cometfire Vun says, "Would you do me the honor of being my date?" "Officer Vun, do you think the continued lame come-ons at awkward moments are ever going to get you anywhere?" Officer Fissionfire asks. "Into your pants, right?" Officer Vun answers. An incredibly small crowd of inmates gathers in the morning to hear the warden's morning announcement. Day Five has begun. 18. I'm trying hard to get Day Five up, everyone. Thanks for your patience. I've had a very tiring few days...
  19. That's going to be hilarious when you're banned.
  20. Ha! Good question. legosuperheroes.com announces a winner at the end of each month, so let's say this raffle will end on November 30th, 2011. LDD is fine. No, you don't have to use official superhero figs. Make one up, as long as it is made from LEGO elements. No. Let's add a little challenge by saying it should be different. A little vig will do.
  21. You must not have read the rules very carefully... What does the fourth rule say? And doesn't the description say "Enter the legosuperheroes.com contest if you are eligible? I bet if you read the rules again, you will find your own answer right there in black and white. Everyone else should do the same as I'm not going to repeat myself 100 times on this. If you miss it and don't enter, that's your fault. The rules are there to be read. You're welcome. Thank you for reading the rules carefully. There is only one of each fig to give away, unfortunately. Let's stick to the super hero theme. I'll update the rules.
  22. That is acceptable grammar, Ms. Mermaid. Well done. As I've never been kicked with a fin, I'll be keeping my distance, Ma'am.
