  1. If you are going to state something is fact, I'd like to see the evidence. I take this sort of discussion to full seriousness. -Omi
  2. The hair came from this. From Kubricks. Also very hard to find, but they have them here if interested. Hair has a peg like thing, so I used my dremel to drill a hole and it fits in nice and tight. And yes, I remember hearing about your Cloud on BF. maybe this will inspire you to finish it? :D -Omi
  3. I love your work, and always been meaning to get a few things to add to my collection. :) -Omi
  4. So not long ago, I made a Cloud Strife minifig. People love it. I love it. One of my best works yet. But I was not satisfied yet. He didn't have a proper Buster Sword. Now you say "Omi, I can clearly see he has a fine Buster Sword and probably the best looking yet". While that may be true, it isn't up to my standards, and here is why. Sword originally came from a set of Final Fantasy Miniature Trading Arts figs, and because of that, the handle was thin, which forced me to put a piece of rubber on it to keep it in a minifig's hand. While it works great for pics, it limited posing and just didn't give me that Lego appeal. So while I wait until BrickForge or BrickArms get around to making a Buster Sword to make me and the world happy (just kidding guys, you all rock), I took the liberty to make one for myself to replace my "stand in" Buster Sword. I took a sword from a Trio set (Fisher Price's version of Lego), which I just bought today afte seeing the sword. Cut the right spots to give it that Buster shape. Pictured is the original sword compared to the "stand in" Buster Sword and the new modified one. "Bustin' makes me feel good." Now while I am completely satisfied with the fact that I can pose Cloud without worrying that the sword will fall, or show the horrid handle while giving it that Lego appeal, I am afraid that the new Buster Sword is not accurate. New sword has 3 indented holes, while the realy Buster Sword has two. But I'll remedy that when I feel like it. Anyways enjoy. -Omi
  5. Considering Lego isn't really making anything in the expanded universe, this would only work if Boba Fett showed up in the Clones Wars show with Slave I. -Omi
  6. Also there is already 100 people registered for next year, and this is just after a week and half from Brickfair 09. -Omi
  7. So in a way, the fans can feel like they helped out? :P -Omi
  8. You amaze me dude. -Omi
  9. That is a biased opinion. And if Lego was that "popular", they would have the Halo license, and not MB. (and yes I know about Lego's violence policy and "no video game themes"). -Omi
  10. Exactly. -Omi
  11. I really like Han's blaster. Well done. -Omi
  12. The chances of Marvel Lego sets hasn't even increased. Besides Mega Blocks still holds the Marvel License. -Omi
  13. As reliable as CS can be, I wouldn't hold much of it. Could just be a simple misinterpretation on their end, or yours. -Omi
  14. So next year is just old sets in new pieces? Lame. :P -Omi
  15. Lego would have to make a contract with Marvel, not Disney. -Omi
  16. Alright just checkin. -Omi
  17. But were those production studios owned by Disney during the time those movies came out? -Omi
  18. Just because Disney has it doesn't mean Lego will get a License. -Omi
  19. It is from Smallville. -Omi
  20. And flows with Aqua as well. And yeah thats BZP for you. Simpleminded. -Omi
  21. Yeah, and every says thats more original than "Flora Magna". megablocks. :P -Omi
  22. Patience is certainly a virtue. -Omi
  23. Right. Next year is the 10th year and 9th anniversery. :D -Omi
  24. Yes that is what I said with "its release in 2000 is intended for 2001.", however does not take away from the fact it came out in 2000 in Europe. America isn't the only country in the world yanno. -Omi
  25. Actually he is right, it did start in 2000, in Europe. Initial start date trumps any other release. However its release in 2000 is intended for 2001. -Omi
