  1. To put a long story short, the GAR needed more specialised forces (better pilots, camo scouts, the list goes on and on) and plus each regiment needed a different colour pattern to distinguish themselves. Take Captain Rex for example, he got an award-the eyes on his helmet-for some act of bravery and so his helmet was painted with the eyes. So there you have it, my point of view.
  2. I have a couple of questions that I wish to be answered by those who know how if anyone has the time? 1. How do you guys make Custom Clone Troopers like on Clone Army Customs? 2. Where can one find these customs? 3. What are your best customs? Feel free to display your customs and please answer my questions.
  3. Plagerism OMG!!!! Just Kidding
  4. I want those sets. I think my army just got dwarfed!
  5. I atually thought that the Y-wing was going to be decent, but since it doesn't have a swivelling turret...
  6. I need some more battle droids for my clones to bash up!
  7. I gave the Ep 3 troops to my brother. Except for the pilots of course! It'll be a squad untill I get the 10195!
  8. This is my clone army! Funny that I bought a Republic Cruiser 7665 just after I took the photo!
  9. Yes Kimt, it is symmetrical, but I'll take more photos anyway! As always, you can find more pictures in my signature, or at CloneCommanderDelta7 at brickshelf. It is nicknamed Sandspeeder, but its official designation is a LAT.
  10. Well, I hope we get a Republic Cruiser, Clone Wars Style! Includes Clones, Aayla Secura, Commander Bly, Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, Clone Pilots Octapurra Droid Includes Ki-Adi-Mundi, Galactic Marines, Commander Bacara, Droids Clone Recon Squad Includes 3 Clone recon troopers (They're the ones at the start of Clone Wars at Teth) a real AT-RT with long blaster rifles! Droid Commando Squad Includes 2 Droid Commandos, 1 Droid Commando Commander and a Droid Boarding Craft
  11. So the old Sandspeeder is now the new Sandspeeder. Sandspeeders are widely used on Beaches, dusty, sandy deserts and can ven perform well in small sand dunes. It is mostly used as a transport for troop squads, deploying search & patrol droids and a special vehicle for high ranking officers. It even does well in mud since it uses repulsorlift technology to get around. The rollbar on top protects the passengers from light overturns caused by light grenades & explosives, and the occasional mis-use. The Sandspeeder can be fitted with a variety of weapons, that are fitted to the underbelly of the craft. The vehicle in this type of mission is mostly fitted with repeating blasters for anti-infantry work. The sides along with the rollbar are sturdy and made with the hardest material available to the Republic and Rothana Heavy Engineering, a sub group of Kuat Drive Yards. The engine is located at the back of the craft so any ammunition fired against it when the craft is head-on doesn't blow up and injure itself or others around it. The side with the rollbar and side reinforcing beam visible The opposite side Top view, interior visible bottom view, weapons platform and engine outlets visible rear view, comm unit, engine outlet and storage visible Instructions (click on these words) What do you think?
  12. I agree, the Slave One would be good, but I think there are much better sets that could come out also. The Republic Cruiser (Clone Wars Style ) would be much better if it had more space and better figures. I know this may be off topic but it is the future sets .
  13. I don't really won't to take apart my AT-TE. I also need to improve the base of the UT-AT. Another Moc is in the Reseaching stages!
  14. I was thinking about a previous post and even though the Jet Troopers (clone) DO have different armour compared to other clones. The standard clone armour weighs about 20kg (ep3 about 17kg), so the Jet Trooper armour weighs substancially less because it has to fly. That said, Lego could have (but probably won't) made new armour. That might explain why there were no Jet Troopers at the NY toy fair.
  15. Yes I have now taken pictures of the interior http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=371483 cockpit and the cargo bay (when they're moderated) at this link. Otherwise I will add them to the frontpage in 24 hours roughly.
  16. Ha Ha Leisa's torso is Count Dooku's Ha Ha Love the Mauler
  17. WOW, that's DETAILED! It's the one TLG should of made! (can finally use this emoticon)
  18. There are other pictures here http://http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/g...CommanderDelta7 Otherwise I will take more pics I cannot get hold of the cockpit piece you specify, but as I said, it is a modified version, A UT-AT V2 so to speak. Can't wait to see more MOCs.
  19. The UT-AT The GAR's UT-AT (Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport) is now Lego under my Command. Anyway this model is a modified version used by the 7th Sky Corps on Cato Nemoidia, because the pounding movements of walkers destroyed bridges on Mygeeto (from Wookiepedia). This model was changed so it had less turrets and slightly modified to meet the standards of the 7th Sky Corps (such as being able to be carried by LAAT/c). The back flaps fold back to release the troops and I will get more photos later. Without anymore talk I will present the pics. The front is menacing... The side... The back... The side with a dead clone (he's dead so there's only 5 figures) The Republic Attack Gunship (7676) is in this photo to show scale... The rear interior, or troop hold... This picture I used th flash so you could see inside the cockpit, but you won't see anything else (the UT-AT is in a lightning storm ) It has around 289 pieces, which is well into the medium section. There are more pics here --> http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=371483 So what do you think, after all, it is my best creation.
  20. There will be another Rex, it's almsot for certain (unless a hydrogen bomb hits the Lego Factory, which is highly weird and will never be repeated again)
  21. Wow, that is some great transportation for Jawas But Jawas would strip the droid anyway
  22. Wow! Love the Rocket Pods
  23. Yes I agree, the back could do with decorating
  24. Well, that's a great creation. Very well detailed, although it is a bit boxy for my liking, it will make a challenge for my UT-AT (you'll all see it soon mha ha ha ha!). All I have to do is count the pieces...
  25. I have finished my UT-AT. It is the best Moc I have done. But one question-What happens when we exceed our minifig limit?
