REVIEW: 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to starstreak's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow, it's finally in the hands of a Eurobricks member willing to review it. I want more of this review!! -
You know that boxes are recyclable...
-
Please be patient it should be there soon

Wow, you have shed a new light on this set. I agree with Kimt, we need a mini one that is all in one piece minifig scale! No elastics either and with interchangable hands. Double repeating blasters now, minifig hands next time!

My Sandspeeder is really made mainly from two AT-AT minis and a Clone Walker Battle Pack (plus a few spare parts). If you want the instructions then they are here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=372469. Funny what you can do with a couple of spare bricks and the willpower to do so! P.S. See my army and Scout Commander Delta at the link in my signiture!

That's too good to be an official Lego set. I'm so lucky that this is a large creation (insert phew icon here please)

Republic Mobile Command Walker (MCW)
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Matteo Kenobi's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Looks better now! -
If you look at the back of the Tank Droid there is one of those 2 pieces featured in Darth Vader's Tie Fighter (2009) and Republic Attack Gunship (2008). It's t the back of the Snail Tank. If you know what I mean then that's great!

In the old Clone Wars, Yoda looked ugly and the Jedi moved their arms wildly while deflecting laser bolts. But the new ones advertising on Cartoon Network says that General Grievous turned into a cyborg because he wanted to (it said that the Jedi wouldn't accept him into their ranks so GG wnated to become robot to overpower them) not because Darth Tyranus ordered the Techno Union to crash their own shuttle. The new one is good though, good storyline, better animation and so on. Thats the goods and bads about them both from my view.

I added a couple of pictures of different mods of the AT-TE that I forgot to post on the main page The back turrets now have a better firing range to destroy those ever pesky droids An attachment for the middle foot to help it traverse muddy ground

Which Set Do You Regret Not Buying?
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Smithy_Boy's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I regret not buying the 1. Clone Turbo Tank 2. Homing Spider Droid 3. Motorized AT-AT (I saw this set in the local Kmart a month ago and I don't see it there anymore ) -
WELL, if you're like me and you hate the big gaping gap on the AT-TE (7675) you might have tried to fix it and to no avail. Well I have come up with a solution. If you have the bricks, the time and the willpower of stone, then try this EASY mod. Does it look different yet? How about now? Well here it is. It is a couple of bricks built in such a way that it defies normal brick-building strategy ( ) so you can mke it look like the real AT-TE! Another View Last view Try it out if you will, and let me know of any twinkers of my idea so we all can benefit. So what do you think? P.S. Kimt I read your comment about taking closeups, surprise surprise!

What Lightsabre Hilt do you like the most?
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Tim Bit's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Ha, Oky Wan Kenobi, I agree with the grey hilts are useful but for me the metallic hilts are flaking and the chrome hilts are still in one piece. -
Fascinating...
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Freddie's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I didn't think it was Lego until I looked at the bigger pictures... -
Do you think we'll get a Lego LotR or Lego Hobbit brand?
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Dollar Bill's topic in LEGO Licensed
You can count me in, I'll rank the theme as my second or third favourite. (after Technic and Star Wars) Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the hype will continue. Star Wars doesn't seem to be going down, does it? (Oh right I'm not in the Star Wars topic forum) -
What Lightsabre Hilt do you like the most?
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Tim Bit's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The ventress lightsabres are horrible 1. They're grey 2. They're bent (I like Dooku's though) 3. It's missing a bottom stud hole The reason I hate it is because I make jetpacks with the hilts and the Ventress lightsabres are missing a hole, plus they're so darn ugly. The new 2009 chrome is horrible. The metallic paint is coming off my old Mace Windu (2009 version) fig from the 8019. And my old chrome isn't flaking off (I do play with it) so I don't know whether it does flake off or it doesn't? -
I don't even have a 2007 Y-wing! (I'm probaly not missing much though)
-
We need all of these sets done! Plus An Acclamator-Class Star Destroyer/frigate A Clone Recon Trooper A Heavy Trooper A real flesh Dooku This kind of set

Republic Mobile Command Walker (MCW)
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Matteo Kenobi's topic in Watto's Junkyard
You could start with a roof, and maybe a bigger interior space?
