Now that the Marvel sets are in the UK, how long does anyone think it will take for them to come to Australia? I'm really anxious for Hulk.

Hey everyone, this is my first MOC (I guess) on Eurobricks. Basically, it's the Flash's blur. Any comments or feedback would be great.

Anyone Prefer Hero Factory Over Bionicle? Reasons Why I Do.
Green replied to Mephek's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I totally agree with this. As good as Bionicle was, I was always so confused as to if they were robots or somewhat organic creatures. Obviously the look of them was robotic, but the setting and storyline presented them as life forms and that always confused me as a child. Perhaps it was meant to be Cybertron-esque. (If anyone is able to confirm if they were robots or if it was never revealed, please let me know, it would save my 10 year old self a lot of relief!) I find the parts in HF are better and less prone to cracks and damage, as I found most Bionicle parts were. Even though I do miss the stories and imagination of Bionicle, Hero Factory just does it for me.- 33 replies

Sorry if I'm just dropping in here, but does anyone know how to create Batman's grapple gun from the LEGO Movie? I can work out it's the common SH/GQ gun, I just can't get what's connecting the hook to it.

^ I really like those ideas, I think the Town Hall set could work out well, Diagon Alley style.

Damn, I wish the Sentinel came in a $15 set. But Wolverine looks good, and I hope the Blackbird turns out great!

With TLG experimenting licenses with Collectable Minifgures with the Simpsons, using creating more special series like the Olympics and LEGO Movie, and the rumour of a Marvel Collectable Minifigure series months ago, what characters do you think would fit into a Marvel or DC CMF series? To me, they would have to be appealing but limited in terms of use or restricted to a certain scene of a film or setting, so that more mainstream characters can be saved for the larger sets. Here are some I've come up with: Marvel Tony Stark The Mechanic (Iron Man 3) Extremis Ellen Brandt (Iron Man 3) Bucky (Classic or The First Avenger) Dr Erik Selvig (TDW) Extremis Pepper Potts (Iron Man 3) Nova Corps Officer Hydra Elite DC Bruce Wayne (Maybe a training variant?) Selina Kyle Great White Shark The Ratcatcher Amazonian Atlantean Kryptonian (Man of Steel?) Joker Elite Bird (Arkham Origins) Please give some more suggestions, I would really want a Superheroes series! Thanks. (If this topic isn't needed/allowed, please let me know, I'm fairly new to EB and this is my first topic)

I love that Green Arrow! Have you tried using Indy's or Dastan's head for him? I find that works a little bit better for mine.

So where were the X-Men and Guardian sets confirmed? Is there a Toy Fair on?

I agree with Wesker, Apocalypse should definitely be a larger mould, along with Thanos, Doomsday, maybe Brainiac and Darkseid. I think just making them larger just gives off a more imposing feel to them.

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
Green replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
For DC, I would love an Arrow bassed Green Arrow (hopefully a SDCC exclusive), Mad Hatter, Deathstroke, Anarky .Metallo, and a Man of Steel Namek (Woody's legs and arms?) As for Marvel I would love to see a Dark World Loki (bit unlikely now), Odin, Heimdall, and a big-fig Red Hulk, except with ammunition strapped on him, boots, and guns. Big guns. -
Here a some of my dream sets, even though they seem a bit unlikely I think they would do great. 'Doomsday Battle'- A big-fig Doomsday, torn-up and ravaged Superman, some civilians and street accessories (Headlights, bins, walls) $30-$40 'Altantean Battle Pack'- Aqualad, An elite Atlantean solider and 2 generic ones, a seahorse and some generic ocean-based decorations. $15 'Amazonian Battle Pack'- Warrior Wonder Woman variant, Elite Amazonian warrior, 2 generic Amazonian warriors, catapult. $15 'Bludhaven ???'- Nightwing (Blue variant, long hair), Black Mask (White suit of course), Black Mask thug x2, car, warehouse features and setting. $20-$30 '

That looks amazing! Reminds me a lot of the Arkham Origins Anarky side mission. The way you've done the anarchy symbol is so great, I hope we see an official Anarky minifigure soon!

I like it, it has a really unique and clever style about it. Just a suggestion, but would using a non-SNOT technique be better for the eyes?

I think the no-brainer TV show license to pick would be Adventure Time. LEGO have a strong relationship with Time Warner, and I think the sets would be really successful. As for other licenses, I'd love to see an 'Arrow' based minifigure in a future DC Super Heroes set. I know a theme based on it is a bit unlikely, but I think slipping one in a set with Batman would be nice,

To be honest, I can't wait for 2015 sets. The new Avengers movie will have Ultron, and I'd love to see how LEGO design his head (if the movie resembles the classic Ultron). The Batman/Superman movie will have some great new minifigures, hopefully Lex Luthor, and the Ant-Man movie might bring about a new helmet piece.
