which bothers me the most is that it is essentially the same set as the old one with all the old shape mistakes just with more greenlings... -mandible wrong angel /to long, 100% the same as the old ones... -not rounded out at the front , the saucer with a dent ^^ -main fuselage not high enough by 2 studs( 2 up, 2 down) compared to the mandibles for that price tag I find this quite annoying :/

New bricks would be the best solution. Other wise maybe something between this and this, with new rounder slope bricks the main Issues with the hole wings/cockpit rotation them is that people believes those have to rotate^^ but they DONT, yes the wings rotates from landing to fly mode and this may be a cool play feature, but once in fly mode they stay fix and the cockpit never rotates there is not one source in the movie where it dos that, on the contrary: on Bespin you can see the cockpit trough the window in “fly-mode”

^Yes you are right, it is a terrible design choice, but in the other hand a extremely difficult shape, I did pointed it out when the first images leaked. But no one seems to care... don’t know why?! I can fully agree with yours positive/negative summary on techlug, you nailed it

The wing gravity rotation is fine. But in the video I posted it looks like the the wing is not able to rotate a full of 90° exacter like the cockpit, but this will be solved when the first review here will shoe up :) I am not blaming the Lego designers, I am pretty sure the y did a good job an all what they can do in the time/cost situation in witch they are but I want to know whyyyyyyy thy did is this way and not that way (I know never going to know ^^) same with e.x. blue engines ?! Are you saying that I am not allow to dislike it because it was a wish of mine?? Am I not allowed to be disappointed because I hoped fore more?? A company has to match there product to the costumer not the other way around! Sure I can mode it but that’s not the point... and the wing attachment is not the only point if you cant see the other mistakes good for you, but I can see them, Yes I am picky for 200 Euro for a toy but isn’t that my right??

For me the wings on itself are ok, but just ok, the rotation thing is not a problem for me! On ly the wing attachment to the green should things with is totally false compared to the original thing and yes this bother me because UCS should not have a issue when even the normal system scale set is doing it right.... for me this is a clear fail! And Yes this bother me sorry but I like my hobby and I prefer to buy a UCS with got at least the structural detail right same goes for e.x. The X wing without hexagonal fuselage or the to small engines intakes. I mean the orange part And we are here in a forum to discuss such topic if you don’t like this fact , just leave or give us some constructive criticism about the set not about the buyers....

^Jango s is a 5 seater and bobas a 3 setaer... Here are 2 other video from the new ship [/url] I personal don’t get it why every body is so hyped about it! I myself was waiting so long for the UCS slave I but now I am disappointed in what we will get in January. I seriously doubt a lot of design choices the Lego designer hit, a lot on this ship is just so wrong and could be fixed easy by ex. just change the color!! On the video you can see from the cockpit trough the hole ship outside the back engines... and the cockpit itself don’t looks like it can rotate fully 90°?! an the biggest problem for me is the green “should” with should cover the wing arm things. First it looks strange not very round and 2sec the big design mistake: it is not open!!! the wing fixation sit right on the shoulder and not in it as it should! This looks very strange to me and destroy the idea of the hole wing rotation idea... I guest the Designer had a lot of trouble designing this ship with may explain the January delay. Looking at the offal video, there also went a few thing wrong with never happen before in one of those presentation videos: -no minifigures shown in live form ??WTF no explaining on Boba’s arm print... - 2times a horrible fast cut with make absolute no sense when you look at the images shown, thy cut in some shot with was not meant for what he is talking about, this becomes very clear in the 2:21 minute (ca: 20-22) were you hear im speak but his mouth is close, lol baaad film editing or storyboard or some thing else was going very wrong in the production/ post production, and please don’t tell me it is normal to cut shots together this badly. But I have to say I am impressed by the scale and structural stability of this UCS!

Is it possible that those are fake or preliminary photos ?? because the shape from the ship and minifig has been cutted out extremely bad for legos standards!

oh, thank you for the Picture unfortunately I am disappointed from the ship. Minfig looks great, but the ship? is it just me or is the ship just ugly, bad proportion and silly building construction??!! look at the green side things witch should protect the wing gear, it isn’t even open WTF?? I am relay disappoint with this Images, sorry lego, but here you failed in so many ways in my eyes... (but still going to buy it , am I?)

no one said that this first seen slave one prototype 10 years old from the TLG office photo IS the new rumored "UCS" slave one, people need to read all the postS carefully..
