  1. I would like to congratulate our host on the phrases, "turbaned equestrian" and, "covered in banana welts", which have made me smile for a long time!
  2. I think Ram worked out that I sussed him at the end of yesterday and changed his tactic, read through the last 3 pages again, where he makes no logical sense on 3 seperate occasions from his first vote for Mugg onwards, having been pretty coherent the first 2 days. He is probably not awake yet today.
  3. The only card I`m believing today is Camanakin`s. My only question at this stage is: is it better to go on what we know, which gives us Ram or Mugg, and probably Ram eg it is a 50/50 with a strong bias on behaviour on day 3 to make me think it`s Ram; or should we just vote on behaviour on day 4, knowing we have either a 4/6 or 5/6 chance of convicting scum eg the odds are a bit higher to start with?
  4. You`re welcome. We are either 5/5 or 6/4 today. Most of today`s clues and debate will come from scum and there is no point paying any attention really in the Roweena murder. Focus on the Otoko case where we have 3 highly credible witnesses, Mistress Kup (Town), Banankin (probably Town) and ScottyPie (Town). If the game is still tight at this stage, Bananakin could have won it for the scum on day 1, ergo she is very probably not scum. The only thing that matters is for the town to vote together, we know who 4 of the 5 or 6 townies are - Camanakin, ScottyPie, Robanakin and Bananakin. As for the rest, it will be like fish in a barrel frankly, there are only 1 or 2 townies of the remaining 6 players. So as the town vote together, we have a very good chance of victory. I stick with my call that Ram Strut is the most obvious candidate, although I also suspect the Dark Ones are Womanikin for jumping on Cam before the investigation was revealed, Mrs Le Go Ninja for the whole "I`ll be flying under the radar in the pub" routine on day 1, and Shenanikin for voting patterns. Would love to hear opinions from Camanakin and Bananakin.
  5. What, there are more killers amongst us!! Captain my Captain! This is not the field promotion any guard hopes for. Of the 13 of us alive at the end of yesterday, we have at least 4 Dark ones, or maybe 5 Dark ones and 8 town. I get 4 Dark Ones from 4 unsolved murders. 3 deaths today suggests it is (very probably but not definitely) 4 Dark Ones and 9 Town, so of our 10 living today, 4 Dark Ones and 6 Town is my best guess. From yesterday`s players, our confirmed town are: Roweena (RIP general!) Addy (RIP) Mistress Kupp (RIP) ScottyPie Camanakin probably Town (honest investigators) Robanakin Bananakin so we have 4 confirmed Town alive. The town does not need to investigate any of today`s terible events. Why do I say this? Because, for yesterday`s Otoko case, we have 3 bulletproof witneses - Mistress Kupp (confirmed town) - clue - man ScottyPie (confirmed town) - clue - had a wedding ring Bananakin (very probably town as defended Camanakin ) - clue - green this brings the list to Ram and Mugg, of which, Ram became utterly irrational towards the end last night, and my default will be just to vote for him unless I hear a better idea. Either Ram Strut or Mugg Kupp is definitely a Dark One. Today, the Dark Ones will lay a trail of confusion and mess with our heads. Our only definitely trustworthy town member with witness cards left is Camanakin. We probably won`t get any better chances via witness cards today than we already have with the Otoko case, and there are no more investigation cards.
  6. It's my 5th wedding anniversary today. What a nice anniversary present to be able to help with a successful investigation in my first game
  7. 召し上がってください! This game must be very demanding on both mods, thankyou for giving your time to make others happy, and for doing such a great job
  8. Another exciting day! I really hope there are no problems with my reasoning... can`t wait for the conclusion today
  9. Ram Strut, I think you are either laying a false trail or taking the troll bouncer logic too far. First you said, you would wait for better evidence in the Flutwuck murder. The clue YOU received of no wedding ring, combined with the cape clue confirmed by 3 people, narrows the suspect list from Scotty, Ram, and Burrito, to Scotty and Burrito. The second Flutwuck clue was irrelevant as I showed before in post 109, it narrows the suspect list from Scotty, Burrito, Ram, to Scotty, Burrito. eg it was a duplicate of the third clue in its effect. Then you ignored the evidence when it was presented and voted on the Otoko murder. I think you were trying to split the Burrito vote by behaving oddly. You should be top target for the investigation tomorrow. But for now, let`s focus on what we know and ignore you while you are still a 50/50.
  10. This is nonsense. If Scotty is Town, that just means one of Mugg and Ram are scum so it's 50/50. But it means 100% that Burrito is scum.
  11. ScottyPie has pink skin and a cape too, but I found him to be town.
  12. No, Roweena's clues do not matter, as I explained. But your vote is odd.
  13. I found that Scotty Pie is a member of the Town. The implications of this are - the next investigation should look at Ram or Mugg, as one of them is a killer and UNPROXY Banakin VOTE Burrito I should explain my logic for anyone who's missed it Flutwuck case killer had a cape - confirmed by 3 people Roweena, Womanikin, Ronbanakin - suspects Scotty, Ram, Burrito killer had pink skin - Roweena - we don't have this confirmed but it doesn't matter - eliminates Ram killer had no wedding ring - both Mugg and Ram confirmed this - one of them is a killer but (I hope) the other is town so this is probably true - eliminates Ram So, the suspects are ScottyPie and Burrito, with 2 clues double-checked I found ScottyPie to be town, therefore voted Burrito
  14. Just got my clue, the cape is confirmed in the Flutwuck case. So now the Flutwuck case is looking more robust to me. people with cape - Scotty, Ram, Burrito The skin colour clue only duplicates the ring clue anyway, which I think must be true, so it doesn't matter about Bubb's clue. This eliminated Ram to focus on Scotty and Burrito. I think I should investigate ScottyPie I mean, the no ring clue I would like to investigate ScottyPie
  15. Problem is, there might be scum interference with evidence in both cases. If so in the Otoko case, the suspect clue is Scotty's and it eliminated Addy and Bubb, to focus on Ram and Mugg. If Scotty is Town, one of these should be investigated. In the Flutwuck case, which is already well investigated, it is quite possible to me (yes, I'm paranoid) that Roweena, Womanikin and Bubb are all scum, in which case we would be looking at the wrong suspects. If the clues are truthful, then Scotty is a suspect and should be investigated As I mentioned before, the most suspicious behaviour of our suspects so far is Burrito, under a different personality from today. Not really sure who to go for.
  16. Not neccessarily, any scum would be least likely to fake the first clue as that one will probably get re-checked. Still waiting on any evidence. Both Ram and Mugg want to be investigated but as you say, if Scotty is lying then neither is a suspect. His clue (ring) eliminated Addy and Bubb.
  17. ok, I will go for the clue first as this may change the outcome of the investigation. I would like to investigate the murder of Professor Flutwuck
  18. updating day 3 So far, witness cards used day 1 Carly (scum) clue - smiling Donena (scum) clue - black Robanakin clue - no wedding ring Eskipo (Town) clue - black - confirms Donena day 2 ScottyPie clue -woman Donena (scum) clue - hair Bananakin (Probably town) clue - no wedding ring got this wrong yesterday Mugg clue - woman - confirms ScottyPie Robanakin - tried to play but couldn't get specific information day 3 Otoko case Mrs le Go Ninja clue - man Bananakin (probably town) clue- green ScottyPie clue (played when a suspect for Flutwuck) clue- had a wedding ring Mistress Kupp (town) clue - man Roweena (clue - cape Roweena clue - pink Mugg Kupp (played when a suspect for Otoko) clue - no ring Womanikin clue - cape Bubb Kupp clue ??? Ram Strutt (played when a suspect for Otoko) clue - no ring I am willing to play a further witness card if we think it would help. I think the clues are going around in the order asked, so I think if I witnessed Otoko I would get a repeat of Banankin's clue, which I trust, and if I witnessed Flutwuck I would get a repeat of the first clue again - cape.
  19. Back from my night rounds, I find that I hold the investigation power today. While I have been away, Bubb has not reported his clue, which I think would be the crucial flesh colour clue and Ram Strutt (Flutwuck case, played while a suspect) clue - no wedding ring - confirms Mugg Kupp Is there any consensus who to investigate?
  20. For the Flutwuck murder, I am a little suspicious of the evidence, but still waiting on Bubb's clue. It seems to me that IF our evidence has not been tampered with, Burman is the more suspicious, because - He voted for Camanakin right after Banakin announced she was going to investigate, without waiting for results, and did not change his vote. He was very very supportive of Donena yesterday, and tried hard to go for the Professor then. I think I remember he said something that sounded to me like a threat to the Prof post 161 of day 2 "Without a doubt that is the only way we can go. In my opinion, we need to nail this, to get it right. I would go with Donena's strategy and vote off Mistress Kupp or the Professor. I believe that this would give us a really good insight into the relationship between both of these players and it would also reveal their side. If we turn out to be wrong then we know we can trust the Professor and I am sure he will help us even more." So far, witness cards used day 1 Carly (scum) clue - smiling Donena (scum) clue - black Robanakin clue - no wedding ring Eskipo (Town) clue - black - confirms Donena day 2 ScottyPie clue -woman Donena (scum) clue - hair Bananakin (Probably town) clue - no wedding ring got this wrong yesterday Mugg clue - woman - confirms ScottyPie Robanakin - tried to play but couldn't get specific information In the first 2 days we used 8 of our possible 30something witness statements. 3 of the 8 clues were from scum. All were reported correctly so far, which has led to the conviction of 2 scum. This is a bad results for the Dark Ones so they may change their tactics in giving true clues. day 3 Mrs le Go Ninja (Otoko case) clue - man Bananakin (probably town, Otoko case) clue- green ScottyPie clue (Otoko case, played when a suspect) clue- had a wedding ring Mistress Kupp (town) clue - man Roweena (Flutwuck case) clue - cape Roweena (Flutwuck case) clue - pink Mugg Kupp (Flutwuck case, played when a suspect) clue - no ring Bubb Kupp(Flutwuck case) clue ??? Both Carly and Donena held out on us a long time for the clue, and both were scum. Bubb, will you please share your clue? Sorry, I missed Womanikin (Flutwuck case) clue - cape we have obtained 9 witness statements, similar to the previous 2 days combined, I think we have to assume a similar proportion are from scum - although I hope the scum/town ratio should be moving in favour of cleaner evidence I am off on my night rounds, for now Proxy Bananakin I seem to have become confused, quoting myself
  21. Gosh, what a late night guarding, and still we failed to protect the innocent Our muscle and our brains, taken from us in one night! This is murder most foul indeed. I think this evil gang must still have at least 3 or 4 members, let's hunt them down and save the town! I do not find voting for Mistress Kupp to be particularly evidential. I thought it was more likely that the Professor was a Dark One, protecting Mistress Kupp. I was surprised, and hugely relieved in the town's vote, that Donena turned out to be a Dark One. One thing we should remember is that 2 of our 4 clues for the Flutwuck murder came from Roweena, who initally said she was intending to narrow down the list of Otoko suspects, and then went on to look at a totally different case. I find that very confusing, Captain my Captain. So, I agree that the evidence is probably more robust in the case of the Otoko murder, and our investigator should focus on the suspects there. Bubb, we are all looking forward to hearing your clue.
  22. Great MOC! very true to the scene. Let's finish this how it started, Tom! I saw the film this morning and it was awesome! This is one of a number of changes to the book, which I will not elaborate on because I don't know how to hide spoilers - but most of them were I think an improvement from the book. JK Rowling is listed as I think a producer, so are the differences canon too? I would be interested in anyone else had occasional problems with distant backfield in the 3D, this was the first time I had any issues and it was quite distracting. The Gringotts scenes, though, were fabulous in 3D. I give HP7.2 a maximum :sweet: :sweet:
  23. It's so hot and steamy in the jungle! Great build Matn, I love the hut exterior and the foliage especially, so evocative.
  24. Smurfs are cool. I saw the Megabloks Smurf sets yesterday in Toys R Us in Tsim Sha Tsui. They are minifig scale, not Duplo sized, though Gargamel is massive in comparison to the Smurfs. My impression was that the minifig moulding and printing quality (all I am really interested in) was not that great, but all the set concepts were good, and they would be good playsets for children. Clearly not aimed at AFOLs. I would definitely buy these if they were impulse sized, but the cheapest set were US$10-15. The format is the smaller sets come with only 1 or 2 minifigures, and a lot of megablocks <insert that tiresome argument> stuff I probably wouldn't want, for houses etc. Edit - on investigation, there are impulse sets available, just they weren't for sale yesterday. I just want Papa Smurf and Smurfette, though, who only come in the bigger sets. smurf range
