I remember that Makuta said something about Mata Nui suffering while awake...maybe thats what he meant...
-
Now thats shocking. I thought Dume was dead....

Well.. The sets I am aiming to definitively get are: StarWars: B-Wing, and A-Wing. City: Ambulance, Rescue Helicopter(despite having the Mysterious Worker At seaTM), Airport Mechanic, and Crane thingy. Exo Force: Gate Assault, The four Mecha, Sentai HQ, and Hero Tank. Ferrari: Both Minifig scale sets.
-
Perhaps I'll make a battle machine...If I get the chance to get at least two different Exo Force Mechs...Perhaps...
-
now they did! it does too have one! Yeah, I saw it. Its awesome! It seems to have a place for the human's mechs to be repaired.(Thats probably why the HQ gate is huge.). Is it just me, or does the blue mech in the Sentai hedquarters set look like an upgraded Stealth Hunter?

Why doesn't the poll have Racers, Trains, or Creator for that matter. That left me to chose Vikings. City was okay, but there were no civilians, or some burning/getting robbed building....making the sets look odd. Harry potter only had the Graveyard Duel set going for it. All others felt too Junioratized. KKII was only a good theme because of the shadow knights. Otherwise the sets would have been worse than... Bionicle sets are beginning to look alike...only the big ones are decent now...The small ones ALWAYS have megablocking new pieces. Starwars Sets were okay. They were mostly Episode III. Not much to say. It was a decent theme on 2005. I didn't mind the flesh tones because I'm not racist against any minifigs. Dino 2010/Dino Attack had alot going AGAINST it. Vehicles were Jumbo sized, and the dinos were worse than the older counterparts...I did like the minifigs...specially the one that had its face semi covered, and the camouflaged/scarred face. Dino Attack didn't have any containment units, so it made the "Heros" look like Dino killers, while Dino 2010 looked like they wanted prehistoric pets. Vikings was the new theme, which was original. The creatures were made of Bionicle pieces(and didn't look dumb). They also had system pieces, making them an interesting blend, and a good set for those that are somewhat leaving the bionicle theme for system. and I liked the axe piece.. Racers had Ferrari and the Tiny Turbos...plus some other stuff... I liked the Ferrari truck...but once again, The Racers theme WASN'T on the poll! I'm sure some people wanted to vote for trains...I didn't, but it should have been there. and Creator had its X-Pods...and interesting sets...How could that also been skipped? oh well...

Both the Thunder Fury and the Grand Titan look like more powerful mechs than Fire Vulture and Stealth Hunter... Anyways, the light up things look cool. I'm somewhat dissapointed that the human pilot has to stand on his mecha(Can you imagine if he has to be there for a long time?). I like the scuba minifig guns used as antennae on the Thunder Fury set, as well as the fromt binocular "guns".

IC: I agree about the robot arms. They make good fingers...as for the figs...I thought Lego was all about safety...Those minfigs don't have helmets! odd...Good thing I have spare white helmets...I don't like two faced figs....they always have to have something to cover up the other face...pity. Is the robot body in the Sonic Phantom set slightly green, or is it just me?
-
The guy who made them is Brian Cooper is also selling instructions to one of the mecha(Teknomeka)....Man I wish I could build one too.....and then have it on the Lego city...Lol. Brian Cooper's TEKNOMEKA page.

I don't see the point of having ladders that only take you half-way. I like the fact that the B-wing pilot has a classic smile...I hope I get to buy it...
-
Three F1s...Why? If I buy another one I'll actually put the stickers on it. Interesting how the Finish line set has both Flesh toned figs, and normal figs...
-
Sorry to post again despite my previous post, but today I recieved Lego S@H catalog, and the picture of the community workers is the one where ALL the minifigs have smiling faces...Yet the online website has the other picture...quite confusing no?
-
It doesn't include batteries. That means that they're replacable. Seems that the helicopter windshield is back(but probably switched from hinge to click-hinge.) :oD . Why does it say on the side of the box Citadel Of Orlan(it has it in two non-english languages)? Pity they got rid of the lifejackets used by the City firefighters...it was cooler and could double as a bulletproof vest...
-
The A-Wing sure looks cool. The only thing that dissapoints me is the little hover cart. The two smiling minifigs make up for that though. The mechanics torso looks interesting(Seems that Lego dropped the tan uniformed mechanics)
-
So if the stretcher is inside, the rescuer has to hang on for dear life? |-D I barely noticed how the rotors are. They look more lifelike. How many stickers does the set have?
-
Well, seeing as how I work in an ER, I should be able to tell you ;) They hook these machines up to people in a critical state (anyone who needs to be rushed in by ambulance obviously has something reasonably wrong with them). They hook up to the patient, and monitor their pulse, breathing, and several other "vitals" They also can print the information out to quickly give to physicians when the patient's rushed into the ER for treatment. Interesting of Lego to add something like that to the set when they didn't have to...pretty cool.
-
The construction worker out at sea is odd...I still think that a civilian minifig would be better( How about a surfer minifig...It would be better and more sensible. So the sides of the copter close? Nice! thats an improvement over the Coast Watch helicopter. Pity both rescuers can't ride in front together like the Coast Watch helicopter, but oh well. Jay, is there space on the back for both a rescuer minifig and the strecther?
-
I think that the device with the with those dial things is for heartrate and stuff. I'm dissapointed that the minifig's torso isn't like the one on the Spiderman set. That torso realy felt like a Lego City torso, although this one is okay. I agree about the minifig face, it is getting annoying..sort of like the director head of the Studios sets. When are you reviewing the copter?
-
WOw...thats a lot of red chairs. Nice to see the old faucet piece return. the refreshment cart is pretty cool. And there are CIVILIAN MINIFIGS! :oD the pilot minifig is cool, and nice to see that theres now space in the plane for two pilot minifigs...
-
I'll get the set for the pieces, and build a hospital that's only at ground level. Lego wants to make every building a tall building, like in the big cities, and the result is usually sets like this. Lego should stick to buildings that don't have more than 1 floor... Sort of like the Dacta hospital...That set feels like a hospital, and its not even very modern! Dacta Hospital

It seems that the shoulder armor on the human's mech in the Gate Assault set seems to be this piece: The piece Nice to see 4+ pieces being used.
-
Pity it costs $14.99, when the abulance costs $7.99. I'm going to buy this anyway, As I might get the legends airport. I thought all new fire extinguishers would be yellow, like the firefighter theme...guess not. I am happy that the firefighter minifig torso print remains the same... Jay, how many firefighter minifigs fit inside the fire truck? I didnt' like how the fire truck from the firefighter theme had space for only one minifig...good thing it was easy to fix that...but anyways, set 7891 doesn't seem to have "all new" pieces.
-
I care...how about adding the minifig with the surf torso? and give him surfing stuff, like that old rescue helicopter.... Although this new helicopter at least has a minifig being rescued, I would have preffered a civilian minifig...or at least a female minifig... Don't you find it odd that the city sets haven't featured female minifigs(Except for the Community Workers set and Trains subtheme.)?
-
well... it's probably cheaper that way... for the company that is... I think printed minifig torsos were more expensive...oh well...
-
Poor statue. It doesn't have any arms! I wonder whether Lego will ever make a set like this one that has town and castle together.... I also like the brick built horse...Now that's Lego!
