Their obvious mistake was in letting a studio besides TT create this game. This may sell some copies since it's a LEGO game, but I have a feeling it won't be anywhere NEAR the amazing success of the other LEGO games.

I'm *SURE* that we'll get an Andy's Room set from Toy Story, and I'd hope for a Pizza Planet set to go with it. Besides Al's Toy Barn, I don't know what they'd do for Toy Story 2?

I can't -WAIT- for the Toy Story sets!! Since their official release in January 2010, we should start hearing about these in the next month or so, and theoretically have them in-hand by Christmas! I think a LEGO Slinky Dog could be one of the coolest minifigs EVER if done right. However, I think TLG made a BIG mistake if they only licensed Cars for Duplo. Cars literally prints money and is by far the strongest and best-selling Disney license right now, both with kids and adult collectors. Cars is a big enough deal that scalpers hunt the diecasts 24 hours a day, there are Cars collector days at K-Mart, and a bigger Cars section than Hot Wheels in many stores! I hope TLG comes to their senses and makes some regular Cars sets before the end of 2010.

This seems to be the closest Lego convention to Upstate NY for some reason, so I'll put in a vacation request for that Friday. and cross my figures for my first Lego convention!

My member number matches this freakish Lego Racers set that only has a 2.9 rating on Brickshelf... I feel somewhat rejected now...

My first Pirates set was Kraken Attackin', which sadly isn't one of my most favorite sets. It does include a pretty slick raft, though...

The vehicle is pretty mundane, so I guess I'd be paying $6.99+tax just for Squidman, which is a pretty terrible value... sadly, I think I may end up doing that anyway.

WHOA!!! I am in love. Cars is my favorite Disney movie (by far), so that MOC is simply incredible! Any plans for a Lightning McQueen to go with him? ;) Sadly, I imagine the Duplo Cars coming out are going to look really sad next to that masterpiece...

Just file a complaint with Paypal. They'll rule in the buyer's favor in cases like this every single time.

Spider-Man 4 is *NOT* a musical. There *IS* a Spider-Man musical coming to Broadway next year, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the 4th film.

I got the Clone Wars Republic Fighter Tank MISB off ebay for the SUPER-LOW price of $66.00 today! I am so psyched!! I've seriously been hunting this set for months now, and thought I'd have to pay AT LEAST $100 to snag one, but now it's mine for practically retail! YESSSSSSS!!!

I do want this... But... There are a lot of other really nice sets I want, and this cost as much as any 2 or more of them. The Venator, the Medeivel Market, the Endor Bunker, the Home One, the Temple of Doom all have priority over this for me... Maybe if/when this goes on sale...?

I can give a guess. We started seeing pictures of the August series of IJ and SW and such in January/February, about 6 months before release. If news can trickle out like that again, then we'd be due to see the Pirates 2010 stuff in June-July.

Wow, I'm surprised to see these sets out already! I thought these were part of the Summer July/August wave? Does this mean we will start to see other July/August releases soon, I hope?

I'd like to join. My Master's in English, but I'm not the world's greatest Lego set reviewer and FAR FAR from the world's best photographer. I've been wanting to start doing reviews but felt I needed a little guidance, so this should be perfect!

This set is undeniably the coolest Temple of Doom toy made. EVER!!! Any chance we'll see this in America in the next month or so, or is it the looonnnnngggggg wait to August for me?

Looks like my own post was premature, as UPS just dropped this off at my house. Unfortunately, the box was CRUSHED because Lego Shop included *NO PACKING MATERIALS* in the box. So the poster and Separatist Spider Droid were free to just flop around the box, and the box had no padding to prevent it being crushed by UPS. Poster was badly damaged. Way to go, LEGO Shop. Are all LEGO Shop packaged packed so poorly?

Can someone who's received this please give the dimensions of the poster? I want to have a frame ready when this arrives, before I can ruin it... Also, are these coming packaged well, or are they getting beaten up in the mail?

I don't think they necessarily had 15,000 orders. The offer was only valid for 5/3-5/4, and they may have simply ended the offer by the time you checked it.

Well, I don't know that it was worth staying up until midnight for, but I sorta want the poster, so I went ahead and ordered a Separatist Spider Droid. Even with tax and shipping, it's STILL costing less than it would cost me to just buy it at Toys R Us with their crazy prices... The poster isn't like the best exclusive ever, but I guess I'm a sucker...

Despite registering a few months ago, and making a post here and there, I realize I never introduced myself. So, I suppose I will now... I'm a 26-year-old collector in upstate NY. By collector, I mean, of like, everything cool. Comic books, video games, action figures, statues, anime, mini-busts, Pokémon... the works. My wife and I bought an XBox and got LEGO Indiana Jones included with it, and to my wife's dismay, I developed an obsession for needing LEGO sets. I held out for a while, but the Black Friday sales made me give in and pick up the Imperial Star Destroyer and MTT. A coupon from Toys R Us netted me the Batman vs. Joker Tumbler set at retail a couple weeks before it became ridiculous on ebay, and I picked up the Robin vs. Penguin set off Bricklink. The Temple Escape from Indy was my first official LEGO gift, which I received along with LEGO Batman the video game at Christmas. My favorite themes are LEGO Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I expect to be enchanted by the Toy Story and Cars sets when they're released as well... So yeah, I'm an addict. May God have mercy on my poor wife's soul...
