    I think the argument is that those technologies are in the hands of a select few. But yeah, it does seem a bit weird regardless. No skin off my nose, though.

    I figured that, I just meant that I don't think it'd be beyond the realm of possibility for a race with renowned crafting skills to be able to make early Renaissance weaponry.
