    A £20 set for every movie would be great. Almost all £20 SH sets are great anyway.

    ^ Yep I agree but you can probably earn more in London and Lego in London cost the same as the rest of the UK so London is not a bad place for Lego. Sorry for moving off the question the answer is that the US is the best place to buy Lego overall.

    I get your point but you pay tax on Lego which pays for things like free heath care that you would other wise have to pay for. Its not a Lego tax so to speak and you cant compare lower tax as straight forward thing as you end up paying one way or another. But yes the US is probably the best place to buy Lego but I don't have real trouble getting cheap Lego in the UK, in fact when I when to the US I didn't come back with anything because I could get it cheaper at home.

    Look again without the tax and you can see its not far off at all.     ^ I disagree, just to look at what looks like your main point you choose to buy one new set rather than 2 used sets that is not about disposable income. There are so sets I will never get because they are now too much to get new. It is still a choice, if I went down the used rout I would spend more on Lego not less because more sets would be open to me as it is I don't want to play over the odds for a set so I don't buy many sets that are not made anymore.

    In the UK sales are not hard to find, Argos 3 for 2, amazon price matching, smyths 20% off, toys R us 2x £10 gift card, Tesco direct 1000 club card points, very £25 off £50. Tesco, asda, Sainsbury 25%, 50%, 75% off. Hotukdeals. I buy most of my sets when they hut 40% off or more.

    My top 10 wanted list in order: 1 Principal Skinner (Why have edna and willy and no skinner) 2 Moe (Other than the 5 Simpsons is in the most episodes by a long way, they might not want to make a pub but no reason not to make a figure, a man looking for love with flowers accessory) 3 Sideshow Bob (come on give him a rake and you have the best figure ever) 4 Radioactive Man (on the back on super heroes being so big and we already have fall out boy) 5-6 Lenny/Karl (No point just having one of them) 7 Barny (was a very big part of the early shows) 8-9 Kang and Kodos (how fun would they be) 10 Lovejoy (he doesn't wear dog collar all that much in the show even when in church so just put him in a suit with a train accessory)

    Cant wait to get the sets, looks like none are exclusive in the UK so should be easier to find a good deal.

    I think its best not to dig to deep or I think your find all yellow figs are sadly white people. It started with Lando and Lego realised this and made a change for the better but then many years later did the same thing with Vitruvius. This really bugs me why not have him yellow I don't get it. The Simpsons are just the way they are in the show but it does highlight this problem. But I like having both, fleshy look great and more realistic and yellow look classic.

    I remember reading a topic on this some years ago and there was a lot of strong feeling but now it looks like most people are happy with what we have.

    ^ Yeah they should have had them in the house meaning more people would buy it not knowing if they would show up again and then had them in cmf 2 also.

    I like it as it is best of both worlds.

    I dont buy used sets, when I first got back into Lego I brought a set off eBay sold as new and it was not which put me off a lot and I also found that I didn't want to mix it with new parts. I even dont want to mix my childhood Lego with my new Lego. The other problem is there are a lot of old sets I would want buy why pay the same price for a used old set as a new one.

    Will pick them on up when I see a good sale, will have to make do with all the reviews until then.

    I have the same problem with parts tied up in built sets I also need to decide on colours before I bricklink.

    I find the best way to put stickers on so that they are straight, free from dust and don't peel is to rant about stickers whilst applying them. At least that's what I do.

    ^ It could be the June promo but the US didn't get it with the helicarrier like we did so why would that be, looks like they might be doing it differently?

    ^^ Its a bit odd/unfair at the different way Lego are going about releasing this promo , cheapest way for most people to get it might be the have it shipped from US.

    At the first I thought the lack of noise from Lego might be because the licence hadn't started yet because of how late they seemed to pick it up and that they were waiting to the start date but now it looks like they just think the sets will sell themselves.
