Having dispatched one of the Tangleweeds, Xander targets the Shy Shell with an attack from the back row.

It's a risk, but I should be able to take out the Tangleweed in one hit Brickdoctor. The worse that can happen is the special activates, Althior fails at healing Dyric and Dyric activates the Elephant's special....but what are the chances of that?

"That might be the better course of action, seeing as how Dyric will have to spend a round some time to retrieve his knife which might cause unwanted free hits. Should I change my target to Tangleweed B, Docken?"

Xander gives Docken a nodding approval, aiming down his bow for an attack on Tangleweed B from the back row.

Mad at himself for missing his mark on the tangleweed, Xander switches his attack to the Shy Shell from the back row.

"It is Althior's decision, but I think I will continue targeting the Tangleweed because I currently favor Plant beasts."

Don't even get me started; I went to Auburn for my undergrad, one of the few SEC teams that are doing worse. I'm usually not the one clamoring to fire coaches after one bad season, but this looks like it's gonna be one epically bad season. I went to Michigan for grad school, and they're doing decent; as long as they beat Ohio State and ruin their chances at something big I'll be happy.

Since it's been a bit slow here lately and I don't feel this merits its own thread somewhere, does anyone have any idea what set the big treasure chest in this photo comes from? I came across it on ebay, and the seller claims it's LEGO; I'm a bit skeptical since I've never seen it any set (but I could be mistaken, since I'm not too familiar with the older ones). And umm, this is Heroica related because it's a treasure chest, and umm....everyone is obsessed with loot here.

Xander accepts the Phoenix Essence, putting it away while following the group to the Sanctuary. He would patiently wait for the party to refresh themselves there, knowing his Natural Respite would take care of his minor wounds.

Brickdoctor, did you have a date on when we need to head back to the hall? If it depends on getting your scroll from Swils, maybe he could leave it with someone until we return?

The only eight-year old I know calls people names when they get upset, they don't make backhanded insults. What Flipz did was totally within the rules, so to call him a cheater is a flat-out lie; I'm sorry that it didn't sit well with you, but seeing as he did nothing to break the rules makes it perfectly fair. And I agree, this is a great game.

Xander walks up the to the cold corpse of Arasmyth, plucking everything from his dead body and leaving a single gold coin. Kidding! I do want to see a ghost version of Arasmyth now though, the roleplaying possibilities with Arthur are endless. I was just teasing Flipz in the first place, but obviously there are some other people that take this game way too seriously and cannot stand for some people to benefit slightly while they do not.
