I really like the way the back and front look, and the use of those window pieces for the windshield, but the sides look too square and unfinished. Maybe if you would add a stripe or some printed tiles it would look better?

Except what we're voting for is about adding a community section to the pirate forum, and the theads in that most likely wouldn't have anything to do with pirates... :-/

Yeah, I think there was around four total. What day did you go? I was there for the Saturday public day, and while there was a lot of kids, I didn't see anyone taking pieces from the MOCs anything. I did see a few touch the MOCs, but they for the most part were stopped by their parents or the builders.

While at Brickfest, I went to a Lego store for the first time, and bought a PAB cup, a Boba Fett keyring, the Batman boat set, and a bag of misc pieces. :-) And at the brick bazaar in hotel, I bought the Little Armory armor set (which included his new great helm).

Hey, nice pics. I think it's kind of funny how the lasers coming out of it are green, but the actual laser pieces are red. :-)

Thanks for the reply Victor! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've heard that the cross sections books has some good pictures of, but I don't own it. I may have to buy it some time, though. We? Is there someone else posting with you? ;-) I'm not sure when I'll do another SW creation though, we'll see.

Well the title says it already, but a big Happy EB Birthday to Jemppu (21), and Unknown Artist (99)!! (Wow, you look much younger in your picture... X-D Must be some sort of sit thing...)

I think it's a nice start, but to me, it looks just kind of like a big grey box with a tower in the middle. It would probably look better if you changed the shape a bit, so that it doesn't look so much like a square. Also, if you qould move your tower over and attach it to one of the walls, I think that could also improve the overall looks. Adding some buildings to the inside would be nice too, maybe some sort of store room, where they can store food and weapons, or a room with beds, or maybe make some sort of shelter so the higher ranking soldiers won't get soaked if it rains. I would also suggest taking a look at the article that Babyjawa linked to. At the moment, while you may not really have the big grey wall syndrome going on, it looks very repetitive and a little boring with all those window pieces, if you tried to add some sort of pattern, like arches or slopes, I think it would better. Well, this is all just my opinion, and you don't have to listen to any of it, but hopefully it's able to help you to some degree. :-)

Lol. I too, was expecting to see a minifig MOC of the Queen of England. :-P That's very nice mortar you've made. The use of those corner pieces was a very good idea, and makes it look like a real mortar. :-) The only thing I don't really like is the 2x8 dark grey plate going across the front. I think it would look better if you somehow moved it down and in so it doesn't stick out quite as much (kind of like the civil war mortar that 007 posted) or remove it completely.

From the trailers, it doesn't look that great, but it seems everyone over on FBTB is going crazy about it.

Great entries so far! It's sort of funny that you can see Apo's hands in the reflection the visor. ;-) I now have my hero picked out and built, I just need to think of what powers he'll have, his orgin, etc. *wacko*

If there's something that you want that you don't see in Phes's pictures, Google Images works really well. :-)

Thanks! Well, I don't think it being paper is actually that bad, it would be nicer if it were cloth. 5. Two ends, and three middle sections. The middle sections are the same pieces as the pirate middle sections, but I'm not sure how good they'd look together, because these are in new brown.
