It's really simple. If you see a set you don't want, don't buy it. If it isn't worth it, don't be a collector. And it isn't worth it

Yes, try comparing the pricing on this to the ROTS set from '05. It costs $5 less, but, it has over 100 pieces less Of course, they'll get away with doing this though. Again.

As I once mentioned before, it's not about making people happy anymore, it's about what they can get away with. People, don't buy this set. It only encourages TLG to make sets extra-expensive

Ooh, Best Lock. I bought a set from them once. The quality of the bricks was disastrous. A fairly small set like this took me hours and hours to build. Ya gotta own one of these to know how bad they are

I do make improvements to sets sometimes. There's a lot of details that LEGO does a terrible job with But often TLC screws up sets so bad that's its too difficult to MOD

The pricing on this is terrible. The Tank itself is 'below average' and a redesign. So it mostly relies on the minifigs, but is still 25% too expensive.

BPs-DKK130 each + Vader's TIE-DKK329 =DKK589 So the superpack would be cheaper, at least for Denmark

Jesus Christ, another one?!?! So then, there's Racers, Harry Potter, Rock Band, Lego Battles, Space, and Castle all coming out this year. That's too much I was concerned about all the games coming out, but now I'm just angry.

Yes, I army build, because armies are awesome. Right now I'm army building in Star Wars and Pirates. I prefer to army build using minifigs from impulse sets and BPs. I do think that 'real' building is a lot more fun though. My armies will probably only grow to around 30 men. Models are more fun.

Great review! I'm sure KimT would be willing to add this to the index when he gets back if you resize your images. This set doesn't include enough, IMO. 155 pieces for $25, that's too much, even if the minifigs are amazing.

Thanks for the review If I get this, it'll probably just for the minifigures. The big vehicles are much better designed.

Don't forget the octagonal shield and wagon wheels But $20 is still too much. Especially for a Chariot this ugly. I'll probably somehow convince myself to get this set though.
