  1. Mister Krabs taking a money bath EDIT: Uh, excuse me; Mmmmmm Chrome!
  2. Sadly, I think Agents might be nearing its end The 2008 sets really weren't available for too long, and I've never seen little kids crowd around the Agents sets like little kids always crowd around LSW sets. I'm also not sure how long they can manage to keep the PM line fresh. The first and second waves were OK, but I'm not sure how many "rock destroyer thing with a drill" sets they need to make. I hope they decide to end racers. It's repetitive and boring, and it hasn't give us too many useful parts. I would die if they ended Pirates next year. Pirates II has brought us amazing minifigs and parts, and there's still a lot of area to cover.
  3. Yes, a lot of those $15 magnet sets had problems. Terrible misprints, and my Stormtrooper magnet set had what appeared to be tainted plastic
  4. Congratulations, Dinckley! That's a wonderful model you made! Now what sort of discounts might you get from this new job?
  5. I actually like both fleshies and yellows. Certain characters look better in fleshie, and some better in yellow. I think making licensed characters flesh and original themes yellow works pretty well. The only downside would be not being able to use fleshie heads for yellow characters, and some torsos that show flesh or yellow. My vote went to no preference
  6. Hopefully this won't have that cheap plastic used in those other magnet sets If not, I might get this. There's no such thing as having too many Squidwards! Well, I'm a die-hard SpongeBob fan, and I'm looking for some orange pieces, so I was hoping to get it. Maybe I'll army build some Squidwards GARY IS DA BEAST
  7. Probably because Europe gets screwed in terms of prices.
  8. Actually, when I went to the LEGO store in Disneyland a couple of months ago, it looked like the selections were more than 5 years old. Many, many different heads, and they had so many yellow slave Leia's that it wasn't even funny. I also found Spider-Man's legs. But I guess it's new to some stores. Maybe if you give it a chance to age ang go back in 5 years or so
  9. Judging from the size of the box, looks like Squidman's Pitstop will be $50 I was hoping to get it if it was $30 or under, but it seems unlikely with the big box and piece count. 50 bucks for a couple of small vehicles and a pitstop that looks like its made from extra parts - I hope I'm wrong.
  10. I'm not sure about that PM base The tower holding the dynamite pieces looks pretty good, but the tower with that green wheel is just a bit strange and looks incomplete. The entire set looks like a crappified 8634 Turbo Car Chase w/o the turbo car or heli, yet you're paying almost twice as much.
  11. My vote is for He doesn't deserve an avatar, hes dumb!
  12. A great review of an underrated set. All you ever hear about this set is 'blah blah blah interior blah blah blah' What did you want them to include, a sofa? Go make a sofa yourself! This is one of my favorite summer '09 city sets, I don't care what people say.
  13. Lately, I think smaller sets have been more for the minifigures rather than the set itself. Just look at sets like the 7884 Batman's Buggy, or that new god awful 8967 Gold Tooth's Getaway. I think Larger sets would win, but I buy medium sized sets the most often because of affordable + awesome
  14. Sounds like it'd be easier to just paint a red one, since it's worth almost $400 less Cloud City Lando also sells for quite a bit. He doesn't seem to be worth $50, since there's a better version of him coming out in the Mon Calamari Cruiser
  15. Another Snake? That is 4 out of 10 sets! But it looks like the Max Security Transport is an actual good set, and it's nice to see Mutated Orc in a smaller set.
  16. People still read books? I thought technology screwed up the whole thing or something... I'll sign
  17. I really don't want SpongeBob to end. It had a lot of potential, but the price points kinda ruined the theme. I hope they don't end Indy anytime soon. It was really a great theme for minifigs, and they still have a lot of area to cover. I'm not sure I want the Star Wars line to run forever. They'll probably renew the license, make some decent remakes, and then possibly sets from the live action series or EU, but then what? I don't want them to make remake after remake after remake.
  18. I believe that at the Toy Fair, they said it would be $80CAD
  19. Thanks for the wonderful review, def I still don't like this set very much. After the comparison with the 'real thing', I don't think I like that cannon as much. IMO, this set relies too much on the minifigs. But of course, it'll sell well anyways
  20. Squidman's Pitstop wasn't really what I was expecting, but it looks like it has some nice parts in there. I'll buy it if it's around $20 - $30

    Nerf guns!

Oh, just about a year ago, Nerf was my obsession. Then, LEGO took the spot that Nerf had. I really don't understand what I liked about it anymore. The quality of the guns were crap. I still have nightmares about when I bought this thing.
  22. I honestly don't care which. I really love both of them.
  23. Venator class Republic Attack Cruiser - Available Now
  24. I sometimes saw a couple minutes of this show while waiting for The Clone Wars. I always thought 'Damn, that would be awful if TLC ever made Ben 10 sets'
