IMO, the ventor is the only one thats a REALLY good price. The others are kinda... meh. But i don't want a ventor anyway, so... I'll keep watch, she's still listing stuff.

Oh yeah, i went to k-mart today. Still had at least one death star and a few dropships. Dropships are still $329, DS's $700. I was surprised to see all the new Indy and agents 2.0 there. the TOD was only $130 plus 15% off.... Pritty cheap

Well, I still use the old lego system Robotics invention system. So yeah, i still have sensors and stuff. autonomous means it functions completely by itself. so you can't use a controller or anything, it has to be programed to know what to do.

I don't have any NXT either. You can make robots from whatever you like, as long as they're autonomous. And thanks They have regionals in most citys, then nationals in auckland. If i go to nationals, you auckland folk should come watch!

LOL... Good 'ol 2006... We won soccer, and came secound in rescue (if a remember correctly)... And it was another folk from CHCH that won dance... I still know him Then last year i failed miserably... Still got to nationals though.... Hoping to go this year too. I must say, the compitition has changed. The new soccer and rescue are... intresting. You should come back and do it! You still have... about 20 days and your still legible to participate.

NXT is the current type of Lego mindstorms (robotics). I already have the old system but i really want/ kinda need the new system. Admittably i don't actully like the new NXT system, it's very <insert that tiresome argument>. But i need it to keep up with the game with my robotics compititions. Just out of intrest, does anyone here do Robocup? And yes, that would make sence actully... Hmmm.... EDIT: 3D_Brickthing bet me to the whole NXT thing. Intresting to hear about 2.0 in november, I was wondering when it would get here. Its yet ANOTHER $100 now though. $500 is a heck of a lot for a mindstorms set...

Na, i desided that kinda quite bad to take a secound one back. It's my loss for buying it at (only) $150 off, instead of waiting. I'll just hang out and hope forother good sets. I SO hope he has a NXT. Or some other sets... But it seems like most of his sets were very recent. But somthing is still very fishy to me, why would a dead guy happen to have all this lego, let alone MISB. I have a feeling, like JP, this could be stolen. That whole ' it was my brother's' thing just doesn't add up... But hey, don't listen to me, i still beleive 9/11 is a conspricy...

I agree. Surely this thing won't go for more than $150. It does look like a $100 set. First off thanks for the pics But I must say i am very dissapointed. I was hoping for somthing spectacular. I kinda thought this was THE 10th annaversary set. But this? It looks more like a kiddy playset to me. It looks incredably jumbled together with all sorts of weird bits sticking out and odd colours. I see tan, dk grey, those wepons are 5x as big as necessary... Overall i'm really dissapointed. Admittably, i do think this is a very bad pic of the sets, and it may end up looking heaps betterin person, but still... It better not be the expected $250

Right, Sorry. Here's the ones we've been recently using 10195 - Republic dropship w/ AT-OT 10188 - Death star 7283 - Ultimate space battle (from Ep 3, 2005. Tri fighter, two vultures, anakin and obi-wan's eta-2 class fighters)

The thing is, that no-one really needs heaps of Snowies. In the movie, i don't even recall seeing any on the battlefield. Sure there were plently of rebels, so I'll get quite a few of them, but Snowies never really had that major part in the film.... Anyway... Time to start looking out for 2010 romours lists then. Cool.

At 7:09 i could see a rebel trooper aswell, but i couldn't get a screenshot, or even a pause without it being fuzzy. It's definately pointing to hoth BP's though

The current box art for OT sets is only for the 10th annaversarry Next year, it won't be the 10th annaversarry anymore. So they may well be OT

Yeah, Down here in CHCH there's been a bit of an untold outbreack. I can honestly tell you it's all a bunch of media hype. It's not actully that bad - same as normal flu, as long as your not normally vaunrable to disease, you'll be fine. I had Swine flu, beleive it or not. Just last week. We has to go to the CHCH flu centre and all these scary people with masks were checking me out (that sounds funny... you know what i ment though). It turns out that currently about 75% of poeople in NZ that have the flu have swine flu. So it's pritty contagious. It really wasn't that bad though... I mean the whole quarrintiene thing sucked, but the flu itself was not nearly as bad as the buildup suggested. So yes that's right EB, I HAVE HAD SWINE FLU. AND I'M FINE My opinion - Media hype.

It never came out in NZ. Or anywhere for that matter. It was a US exclusive - worth a killing now. I got mine for $15 However i can honestly say your not missing out on much. It's a bit of a non event really. Sounds a tad overbord to be honest. But it's possible. I don't know, but i have a feeling that he just stumbled upon a chance for a huge bulk lot of lego which he couldn't do what he had origanally planned to do with so he has to sell it. But we could just sit here making up storys but that's just silly. He's right, all we need to know is he's getting rid of lego cheap and fast!

Another good idea, once the situation has cooled a bit (i don't know if got heated or anything), is to show your parents this site, and tell them about the fact there are thousands of adults with the same hobby as you, so they can understand that it's a hobby for people of all ages. BTW "Holy wampa doo doo" Made me giggle
