Mindstorms NXT 1.0 > 2.0
Legoman replied to astra's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I personally want 2 of the new (non hitechnic) ones, but they're not on BL yet Does anyone know how to upload parts to BL? I tried, but it didn't work... -
The thing i found intresting after doing some research, is that if it were to be scaled to minifigs, it would only be a few bricks higher than the original. In the movies, it wasn't really that huge. Yes, it's quite big, but it just looked huge because it was so menacing. It was only 15.5 meters tall.... But i'm kinda over remakes, i've got enough AT-AT's! And if i got more, i would want then to match, not be bigger and look different.

Updated, i got a NXT 1.0.

How about BB bullets? Mabye a bit small? Just an idea.....

I'm guessing End of line. It's been around for about a year now. I went to the new marshlands toyworld yesterday.... to find no 20% off They had MMV for $220. Ouch! I went there to buy a NXT, thinking $400, but it was $500 because of the no 20% off. That was a bit dissapointing... Oh well, patience, i'm hoping to find one cheaper than $400 anyway.

Wow.... and i thought I was a nerd....

OK folks, well, i want some NXT parts. In total, i want: NXT 2.0 retail kit + 1 extra colour sensor + As many as possable Converter Wires (for RCX-NXT) So if you have Any of those bits, and are intrested in selling or trading, please let me know. Even if you jst have a motor or two or something, let me know, I might be intrested, so PM me. Now up for trade i have a heap of older Star Wars Sets, and Cash. I'd prefer to trade, but if you name a nice price i just might snap. Please PM me if you can help out at all. Thanks, Legoman

Sumobots
Legoman replied to Lost Viking's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice! I do a bit of this robotics stuff with mindstorms. Recently I helped out teaching a class of 10-14 where they were learning to make sumo bots. We were using NXT's though. As for other compititions, I recently just won Robocup in my city and got flown up to nationals... just got back last night actully.... Lots of fun. And congrats on winning your sumo compitition. -
Just exoforce Otherwise all the farmers in CHCH would be empty....apart from bionicle Man... I'm egerly hanging out for a cheap NXT if anyone sees one. (original or 2.0)
-
If i get a chance at one 20% off, I may have to get a MMV. It does look truely superb
-
Just a heads up, TW tower juntion (CHCH) had Medieval Market Village for $220. Along with some space police... and some new technic - the new wheel loader, anyone?

I agree. some of you guys are taking this movie way to seriously. Lego makes this kinda stuff all the time. Just because something is in a movie by lego, doesn't give any reason to think it'll be a set. The only thing i thing may have some truth to it is that new grevious fig, but other than that, "Tell 'em they're dreaming"
-
Swwet. I wonder if TW Cranford has them? ($400 )

Yesterday i brought a 7754 Home one for $150 down from $250

Review: 7754 Home One™ Mon Calamari Starcruiser™
Legoman replied to valentin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
5 - Outstanding! I just finished mine, and wow... I love it. I grabed mine at a bargian price ($150NZ from $250NZ). Even at full price this set is well worth it! Heaps of playability, decent size, new A-wing. Only downside i could possibly find it the A-wing's 'Engine'. Not a fan. But that's personal opinion, you might like it. This set overall gets a full five star. Well done lego! -
Nice. Intresting. but too pricey at this stage
-
Feel free to let me know if you find out who has it. All i know is that barrington doesn't. Unless they just put it out today. $151 is a bargain, $100 off RRP.
-
This, prehaps? It would make sense, and i've been wondering what this thing could be ever since the first sighting weeks ago
-
Got all them, but thanks anyway. If anyone has $200 lying around, i really suggest the UCS-ywing. It's a great price, and i'd nearly go so far to say it's the best lego set ever made! truly a beaut. IMO anyway...
-
K-mart really isn't that great any more. I think all sets are around RRP now, and with only 15% off sales... well, not the best prices in town
-
Haha, those last two are crack-up's... i'll die if anyone bids I'm watching the first one though... Thx

That's the secound Landspeeder (from mos eisly cantina, 4501, 2004). But heck, I do still have the 1999 one, 7110. As for figs, well, I'm yet to make heaps of tatooine locals... got a few though. As you can see. But i think thats about it for stormies and named characters. But i still need more jawa's and tuskens
