  1. Hey that's cool. I never saw one before. I originally made mine for my medieval olympics moc. You can see the sewing competition here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/69274
  2. I always used to look for instructions on how to build interior castle stuff. I usually couldn't find anything that could help. So I decided to make my own little guide. Hopefully this helps those who are trying to fill those empty castle rooms and sewing shops. Here are the pieces that you will need. This is the final product Sorry about the photos, old camera.
  3. I really like your sorted index it helps a lot and is a really good resource. I posted this ship yesterday so it hasn't been indexed but it would be cool if you could add it.
  4. Don't change your ship because it might look similar to mine. If you have already been working on it there is no point in putting yourself through all that work. I really like that you are making a detailed interior too. interiors make ships really cool.
  5. 67d I still need to add sails. Here is the link to all the pictures and full story: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/85829
  6. We got the pirates in America first so I don't doubt that we won't get the calender. I would like to see some islanders and female figures. A cannon or a little custom cannon would be cool. A monkey or a shark also would be cool.
  7. It would help if you made the images of the Xebec larger so we can really see what the ship looks like and get a good idea about what you are trying to do. I never have made a custom hull so I would look at this if you want to use traditional hull pieces: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/85340 Hopefully this kind of helps you invision how to make the hull. Once you make the pics larger(if it is possible) then I might have some better suggestions. Good luck.
  8. Here is my cannon!
  9. 27. Capt. Kirk-Le Quartier Brique 36. Lord King of Everything-Die for the King! 32. SirNadroj-The Pillaging of Neptune's Noggin Lagoon I really liked the large divison entries a lot. I wanted to vote for my own but there were too many that were better than mine. I especially like Lord King of Everythings entry because it had a great ship, humor, and landscaping which makes it amazing. The honorable mention has to be: DNL he was up with the best of the entries.
  10. Great ship. I like the sails and wheel. Texas pride for life.
  11. 1. 13. RichardAM-Stealin the Imperial Loot! 2. 16.SirNadroj-Quartering The Quartermasters 3. 22. Paul cantu-Prison break! In my opinion each of these entries is a winner because they each exibit great building technique and each fits the contest criteria perfectly.
  12. Nice! I am really glad that you found this. It is good that the LEGO group is interested in what our opinion and suggestions are. I hope they use the feedback to improve LEGO. Thanks!
  13. I don't think the forum is too chaotic but it definately needs a subforum for mocs. Or if anyone could post mocs in the moc categories it would be easier to view pirate mocs. That is my only complaint.
  14. 22. LegoJoe 17. pe668-Colonic Cannonball 41. Captain Zuloo-Dinner Time! I voted for each one of these entries because they each show humor, cruelty and great building technique. Good Job guys!
  15. By size I was reffering to length. But you can modify the width if you add some inverted slopes on the sides or use other techniques to make the ship wider. I will make more sides once I get the technique perfected.
  16. I am currently trying to make a 100% changeable ship. The decks, sides, masts, interior, cabin, size of the ship and whatever else you can possibly imagine will be able to be changed so that you can make an unlimited amount of different ships with a small amount of hull pieces. Hopefully you like it. You can view this on: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/83550 I will put pictures on this soon, hopefully. Updates will be coming as well.
  17. I got these from Toys R Us. Hopefully I will be getting Brickbeard's Bounty this holiday season. Loot Island Cannon Battle Kraken Attackin Pirate Construction Set
  18. This sounds really cool. I always wanted someone to make a super ship while still sticking with a lego system look. I can't wait to see the final product. Right now I'm working on a 100% modular ship. Good luck. This sounds really cool. I always wanted someone to make a super ship while still sticking with a lego system look. 19. I was thinking of adding a gallow but I didn't because those have been used in other entries and I didn't want to further crowd the scene. I am new to this and I didn't know how. I will figure out how to do it.
  20. Yeah the surfing captain was for laughs. I am going to use that pirate inventor idea in my story. Thanks.
  21. I originally wasn't planning on making a new entry until I started sorting my legos. While I sorted it hit me. Why not make a surfing pirate moc? Then one thing led to another and I had a cool new entry. I don't want to change the surfer because that is how this whole idea got started.
  22. I am changing this entry into a more pirate pillaging instead of an islander pillaging. I need to have the name of this changed to "Prison Break!" So if someone could contact a moderator it would be greatly appreciated. Here is the new entry:
  23. Ships! Who doesn't like sea battles? I remember my Black Seas Barracuda and Red Beard Runner were always fighting each other on the living room floor.
  24. Go to: http://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?kw...254197&sr=1 AKA :ToysRus.com and order the set you want. It will be easier then trying to get your uncle to find a set.
  25. Very nice review. I like the design of the raft. The minifigures are cool too. I just really don't like the size of the Kraken. The first parrots look better in my opinion than the new ones.
