Great review. I think this set is one of the best small sets of 2009. I'd really like to see similar sets when there are more pirates sets after POTC.

Looking at the "high res" pic on the first post, I see that most of the 2000 or so pieces is going to be 1x2 dark red tiles. And how did they make that 3-pane window on the top floor?

Great idea using the cans, but I'm not so sure about cutting through your walls At least you can now transport things between rooms without actually moving

Nice review. As for the set, I'm afraid it desperately needs the stickers. It looks too jumbled without them. And I agree with what Rufus said. It is a Technic set without the amazing features.

Great review. I like this set, but I think they could've added more pieces to the Copter just for the heck of it.

I don't have that particular set, but I have noticed that yellow pieces are most prone to cracking. Bley, not so much.
