Oh, okay then. It seems this topic is almost as crazy as the SW topic!

Happy birthday to ZO6, posades, Uspez, Axadder, snake1992, Zuntir, TerranCmdr, and ThunderChild!

Bigger picture?

Wow. First impressions on these new HF sets is really good. Splitface is definitely my favourite, and I really like Rocka's bow and the green guy's hand cannons.
-
Woah, woah, woah. What's with the wheels on the helicopter? It just ruins it for me. As for the other sets, they're all pretty awesome. I'm really looking forward to that new gun piece.

The Pineapple set is definitely the better of the two. It seems we get Squidward's house, but not Squidward himself. I guess he was too busy moaning about the noise. And why is Mrs. Puff included? But I do like the party accessories. As for the Flying Dutchman, it is quite underwhelming, but I guess what can you expect from the price. I think they should've made the Flying Dutchman figure bigger. The face just doesn't fit on the size of head. BTW, here's a much faster website.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

Wow. That's it. I love almost all of these. I like the space juggernaut, the IT guy's cup, Poseidon, the bag piper, and the swimmer's medal -
Wow that is one awesome free build. All we get up in Canada in terms of free builds are candy canes and flowers made of basic bricks.
-
I've been to the Fairview one, but their selection is very basic. All I saw was a wide assortment of 2x? and 1x? bricks in various colours, and wheels and steering wheels. Not that great, especially compared to some walls like NYC Rockefeller. The large cup is $19.99 and the small is $10.99. They are the same size as other cups world wide as far as I can tell.

Cheapest way to buy 2x Moduars + 1x Train in Canada?
prateek replied to youtoo's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
1) Get to know someone that lives in USA, and get it shipped to their house and meet up at a later time. 2) If you live near the border, just go to USA and buy them in store. I find even the randomest small towns in USA happen to have Lego stores. -

Really nice. The water fountain and garbage bins are so simple, but they looks amazing!

Looks good. It's just a snowy scene, so I don't think there is much you can add, but the positioning of the figures is just right BTW, copy this into your post for deeplinks: [img=http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/wokajablocka/MyOwnCreations/dsc00043.jpg] [img=http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/wokajablocka/MyOwnCreations/dsc00044.jpg] [img=http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/wokajablocka/MyOwnCreations/dsc00045.jpg] To get this:

I think he is being sarcastic.

Very nice if I do say so myself. I like how you used the SNOT on the front, and the rear bucket and chassis look really nice
-
I think this was to be expected since most Licensed sets are released in May, like PotC and PoP in recent years.
-
I'd go with Black Pearl, but that's because I hate the look of the QAR. The white bones stick out like a sore thumb. The Black Pearl looks much more rational and nicer to look at IMO. It's just a personal preference, but I like realistic looking things.

Can't tell much, but from what I can make out it looks good. The batcave looks more technologically advanced than the old one, and the new figs look good. I like Lex Luthors mech a lot. Lime green... Here ya go.
-
I'd say get it at TRU, as a magnet and the MINI RAS are worth more than double VIP points, and plus, you don't have to pay shipping.
-
I don't remember seeing it before in other sets, but now the black bricks are outlined in white to distinguish from dk. grey. Good solution IMO for the colour problem
-
I'm gonna say 2005, mostly because of the introduction of the cheese slope. As you can tell, most (if not all) City vehicles have been designed the same way since 2005.

Oh, baby, here we go again! Can't wait to see what people come up for this contest. Category B is gonna be a fun one, I can tell. Great idea -
I hope you guys know that the original post is more than 3 years old, so a tan hairpiece didn't exist back then. But, on the topic, I've seen Bosny and Tamiya being used to great success, mostly in KielDaMan's MOCs.
