  1. Wow! Look at all that Dk. Green! This is exactly 12340692 times better than the last version
  2. Oddly enough, 91988 2x14 plates don't exist in LDD.
  3. 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown Theme - Super Heroes LXF File Errors: -different prints -claws substituted with PoP claws -Magneto helmet substituted 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape Theme - Super Heroes LXF File Errors: -Specialized parts (i.e. Iron Man's mask, Loki's hat) substituted -2x14 plates substituted with 2x8 and 2x6 plates -Prints improvised
  4. The boxes wouldn't weigh more than a few 100 grams, but the instructions would be really heavy. In the case of the MF, I'd guess 1-2 kg.
  5. 10030 weighs 9093 grams and 10179 weighs 10214.9 grams. Bricklink can tell you anything!
  6. And you want to make this out of real bricks?!?! I'm sure you'll need government funding for such an endeavour! To be honest, though, you could contact Lego and show them this project. Maybe if you're lucky, they might be willing to supply you with the bricks for low cost, or even no charge. Try making this a public event that would give Lego some publicity. Organize a charity event even? Just trying to give a few suggestions to lighten the load on your wallet. Good luck!
  7. This has been mentioned a long time ago. Brickset. But no one has seen it in stores. It might be a promo set of some sort, like the UK newspaper sets.
  8. It's way better than a painting! It's 3 dimensional! I really love all the details. From the water splashing around, to the checkered pattern around one of the boats, this is perfection!
  9. Despite this, I'm sure if you put this alongside official sets, it would fit right in. I think we've done a good enough job in preserving the Classic Pirates feeling.
  10. Fantastic. Everything I was expecting from a review and more About this set: Very nice chopper, and the figs are terrific. As you said, it has its flaws, but it is still one of the best sets of this line.
  11. I'm familiar with your other stations, and I've got to say this is up there amongst the best in terms of architectural design! Great job
  12. Okay (not ok-ey) dokey, I reuploaded the LXF, but the thumbnail is still the same if you don't mind.
  13. Fantastic! As BD mentioned, this is definitely the most comprehensive RCBs!
  14. 8) 3 points 1) 1 point 2) 1 point 3) 1 point 13) 1 point
  15. As I said, it's not well known to children nowadays. Lego is aimed at kids after all. If you ask kids (ages 6-12) what is The Last Airbender, I ensure you most of them wouldn't know. They stopped showing it on TV a few years back, at least in Canada. It was doing very well when it was on its original run, so Lego took it up. I think the problem with ATLA is that it doesn't sell a lot of merchandise, so the sets would naturally bomb (relative to other Lego lines). I think they learned their lesson after Avatar. Look at all these people wanting Phineas and Ferb sets. P&F is arguably the most popular cartoon on TV right now, but not a lot of merchandise is sold relative to its popularity.
  16. <-- Literally my face when I saw this. I was wondering how someone could make this out of Lego, and this just blows my mind. You've got the curves and what have you perfectly recreated! Awesome job overall
  17. Wow, so much work for nothing. Should I reupload the LXF or is it fine as is?
  18. I'd say Maul (shirtless one) is way rarer. TC14 will be available to the public, assuming they pay the required $75 for other sets. Maul was only available in a convention, and even then, not everyone got it.
  19. 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle Theme - Super Heroes LXF Errors: -Metallic colours are off -Substituted prints -Shield replaced by CM shield
  20. I would say no, simply because this show is not at all popular, and had a very short original run. A movie might change my mind, but I would disapprove at this moment.
  21. Agreed. It's also worth noting that Cavey put the outer windshield slopes in place sloping towards the front, whereas in the instructions (and which looks better) the slopes are facing sideways.
  22. They already have this in almost all Lego stores. It's been roughly 3 years since they introduced it.
  23. Quite nice! The window trimmings are nice, as well as the brown/dark red brick patterning.
  24. Cool! I really want that now! Hopefully it starts to show up at TRU or something.
  25. Wow, these sets are oh so awesome, yet oh so OP.
