Happy birthday invisible member! I hope you get lots of trans-clear lego!
-
Ha! The vic viper in the HQ set has a viper head sticker on it. It seems like a tribute to nnenn to me.
-
What about just normal blue? Right now the tardis just looks pretty lame. I really like how you did the base for the tardis and caveman though, the terrain looks very nice and the figs look good.

Here's a pic I never uploaded of FOUR post apocalyptic space figures I made a while ago.
-
The tri-pod looks much better than I originally thought.
-
Like most have said, it's definitely not childish. It can be a hobby, or an art form, like this for example. Somebody made this completely with lego. Do you think it's childish?
-
I look forward to it, this fight is quite entertaining!

I like the design but it needs different colors, the gray and neon color scheme makes things like the car and stand look out of place. I think if you threw some black and solid colors or maybe even just a different shade of gray it'd look better, because the architecture itself looks really good. I also think maybe some greebles would help. But right now it just looks kinda bland.

He's talking about the red brick in the cockpit of the ship, and no it's not one of those, IT'S A LIGHT BRICK. and from the looks of the vid of the set the fig just gets grabbed by the head and dangles there.
-
Oddly enough there's an alien kinda like what you're describing in the game I was talking about with the giant robot, "War of the monsters"
-
Know what we really need in the next wave to complete the B-movie feel of these sets? We need a giant robot! One with a saucer type body and some arms and legs and a couple guns and domed cockpit for the alien, or better yet have a giant brain controlling it like "Cerebulon" from war of the monsters! That would be an awesome vehicle to lead the tripod invaders! Or maybe I should just buy these sets and make my own.
-
Yeah I noticed that too. In fact, other than the spinning ring and the crappy arm there are no other play features at all, which is a major disappointment.
-
I can't believe those pod racers are going to be close to $100! The old one had 3 podracers, three pit-droids and a pit stop for close to the same price! They better fix the price or I wont be able to afford it.
-
I think this is the pic Oky was trying to post. It's very disappointing IMO
-
Ack! Still no clues on how the abduction function is. Oh well, the other pics look good, it appears that the brain suckers are stretchy.

We had some snow days off from school so I watched some studio Ghibli films I hadn't seen for many years and completely fell in love (which is hard for a computerbug) Anyhow I watch "My neighbor Totoro" "Princess Mononke" "Ponyo" and "Howl's moving castle" I've been listening to the music from them and watched Howl about three times in one weekend and I could probably still watch it or Totoro again. They're just completely mind blowing and get your mind wrapped in their worlds, they all have great characters, awesome music, touching story lines, and some of the best animation I've seen in my life. They are all true works of art, I just can't get enough of this song either.
-
I'm not saying they couldn't do it, it's just unlikely because it's cool enough already.
-
That's an interesting and awesome idea but I highly doubt it.

I'm excited that they FINALLY made a new podrace set and that new sebulba is great! I'm not really liking the technic stuff though, But that can easily be modded. I only have one gripe about the set and it's the fact that we don't see any new podracers, or even a redo of aldar beedo or gasgano (a redo of the gasgano figure would be awesome!) But we just got Anakin and sebulba. Oh well, maybe if this set sells really well they might make more pod-racers! IMO it'd be a lot better than more re-hashed or obscure clone wars vehicles.

Happy birthday guys!

Welcome bricker! You really don't have to be so specific with your comments or else it gets really confusing. I know what you mean though. I'm guessing that there's some sort of claw or shovel type object that comes down and grabs the minifig kinda like in the Pharaoh's quest bi-plane set, I can't really think of another way.

Those aliens are AWESOME!I love the cyborg, the trans green brains and cyborg eye are great! :) The Earth defense HQ set is awesome! All of those play features are great! I'm a little disappointed with the mother ship though.

Well there's two things I noticed her. First of all it has nothing to do with PQ other than the minifigure and second of all it looks way more diesel-punk than steam-punk to me. But getting away from the name I love these creations! Especially the spider The amount of detail you fit into one small thing while still keeping its shape is awesome. -

Sigfried will surely be happy. Anyhow, I really like the look of the conch-head monster! I didn't like him in the prelimes but now he almost looks like the Atlantis gatekeeper with a shell on his head.
