I'm a fan of animation, LEGO, and zombies. And violence. Here is the culmination of my interests. I'm not sure what to say about this. It was fairly close to my original intention, but I shared the reins in this video a bit more that I probably should have. I had little to no control over the editing and dialogue (except my own.) The addition of sirens and camera rumbling was against my will, and the dialogue of the characters in the helicopter was totally different from what I intended. I animated the video first, then helped with a bit of editing and sound effects, then the other people involved threw in their contributions and today posted it online without my final approval. It's still a weird situation, and after this, I'll be controlling more of my animation projects while allowing some voice work to be done by other people. When I put others in charge of key aspects of the video, it doesn't live up to my expectations, and I'm not really proud of all of it. It has its moments, and I's love to hear what you guys think of it. This will probably be the last Pointless Adventure video, as I have had a falling out with one of the lead voices of the series, and even when the relationship recovers, I doubt he will want to be involved with it much anymore. I have other unrelated stories I want to tell, so my brickfilms will be going in different directions storywise. So for the three of you who like my videos, that's what the abridged story is. I hope you enjoy it. -Rick

My favorite part is the cockpit. Very cool.

These are some intended entries for the contest over on the Kam forum that I'd like to share here as well. Republic Ground Trooper: In the early months of the Clone Wars, these troops were gradually phased out in favor of clone troopers. They remained as guards and acted as police on various Republic worlds throughout the Clone Wars. Shadow Ops Clone Commando: Rarely seen in combat, but very efficient in black ops missions. Blue ARC Trooper: This is about as non-purist as I get. All decoration is done with easily removable sticker paper. He's holding a rifle and some kind of grenade. I don't have a name for this droid, but I'm really proud of the head design. Anyone have a good name suggestion? Sepratist Heavy Gunner: My favorite of the bunch. He has a heavy repeater portable turret. Puncher droid: Featuring two wrist cannons, it was known for "punching" holes in armored vehicles, and even straight through clones. Pictures are links to Flickr pages. Thanks for looking, C&C are appreciated.

Thank you. The entire ship uses SNOT techniques, front to back. The back is inspired by the back of Firefly class ships (Serenity.) It's supposed to be a partially exposed fusion engine, and there are trans green 1x1 bricks back there, but I don't think it's exposed enough to show. The shuttle craft attaches underneath the command bridge in the front. Look at the brickshelf images. The empty spots in the back are intentional. It's radial building, and partially exposed.

Flickr Built for use in an upcoming brickfilm. Sections of the ship will be made in minifig scale (see flickr page for scale comparison). I'm still working on the story, but it's going to be sci-fi, possibly horror. The ship has various influences; Pillar of Autumn (Halo,) Serenity (from Serenity,) etc... I need larger ones for brickfilming. I can't do very far away shots because my baseplates only cover maybe a 40 stud square area. More please, and if possible charge less than $12 for a 32x32 one.

Mini figure collection Vol. 2 for sale!
GIR 3691 replied to General Armendariz's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hmm... the red ninja is interesting. These seem to mix rare beloved figures, along with totally random and uninteresting figures. -
I'm a brickfilmer as well. Your garbage man and assassin videos are exceptional. If you don't mind, what kind of camera do you use? What's the framerate? How do you do the tracking shots?

Thanks guys! The loud character is based on the courageous/ scared minifig head looks like it's yelling when the mouth is open. I try to keep his dialogue to a minimum as not to overdo it. The first video is on my personal account. The new video is on a joint account with my friend who collaborates with me on the animations. The second account is the one we are going to post videos from now on.

This is the sequel to my Nickelodeon contest entry, LINK. Be sure to look for easter eggs hidden in the video. Hope you like it.

My last order was off S@H. I got Space Skulls and the Mars Mission MT-201 drill walker. My first set of '09 will hopefully be the Pirates Shipwreck Hideout.

I can't recall if I've posted here before, but I would like to sign up. -
I've got a motorcycle helmet piece stuck in a garbage can piece that refuses to come out.

"Carol of the Bells" by Trans-Syberian Orchestra... naturally.

You mean you know people who like to build besides yourself?! I always build alone.

This is the first thing I made once I got back into LEGO back... maybe 2004? Gallery It was also used in this brickfilm I did around the same time. I rebuilt that base/ capital ship/ whatever it was dozens of times as numerous things. I kinda' miss it. It had a working elevator, lots of unique rooms, a hangar bay, and a bunch of cool stuff.

Done.

REVIEW: 8958 Granite Grinder
GIR 3691 replied to GIR 3691's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
True... when I first heard about Power Miners, I really wanted to see that chrome drill piece return, even if it wasn't chromed this time around. It is such a cool piece, and would have helped me make a Big Daddy. I'm not a huge fan of the new drill piece. Off to Bricklink, I suppose. -
