The news makes me sad. I was hoping for normal minifigs and not Belville reboots. My 4 yr old girl loves girl minifigs, especially the collectible ones, so I was really hoping to get these set for her. Not so much not that they don't have proper minifigs.

I have both sets, boxed w/shelf wear. Contents are sealed and papers are in pristine condition. Only 1079 is listed for sale on Bricklink, but has pieces missing. Seems they were only opened once as one side has the original seal intact and the other is taped. Besides "It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it," does anyone have idea on what these have sold for in the past? Thanks.

Diggin' the brown head scarf and hammerhead guy. The ship seems a bit drab though, but I am guessing we will be seeing a few mods to spruce it up a bit.

Agreed. I'd buy multiple Lion or Dragon versions of a set like this. Would really love it if Lego made a 'training set' like my MOC impulse set: Training Pell Or how even still, I'd love something similar to 6009 The Black Knight or 6013 Samurai Swordsman.

It's cool to see new CMF bits in the BAM bin. Maybe I will pick up a few more Caveman beards. Do the store allow you to mix what you want, or do you have to get 1 headgear, 1 head, 1 torso, etc etc vs. 5 headgears?

I actually prefer the pearl gold to the chrome gold. Never really was a fan of chrome.
