  1. Hoke enters Heroics Hall. He checks the Questboard and does not notice any new quests. He greets his fellow adventurers-in-waiting and makes his way upstairs for some breakfast. Embarassed to show surprise, Hoke does a double take at the ape like creature who has recently joined Heroica Hall. The metasimian takes not of Hoke, and Hoke nods a greeting from across the way.
  2. Series 4 was $3.49, but series 5 was $2.99.
  3. I'd fold the gown all the way back and form a good crease.
  4. All series were $2.99 for the first couple of weeks, then the price went up to $3.49. Around Christmas last year I believe the price went up to $4.99!
  5. After a couple of days exploring the fair city and surrounding area, Hoke enters Heroica Hall in the bustle of the midday. He makes his way upstairs to order a delicious meal from the kitchen. Hoke sits down at a worn yet sturdy wooden table to wait for his meal. He notices a few new faces in the Hall.
  6. Popped into TRU over lunch for 3 more Gladiators & 3 more Dwarfs plus a couple Cavegirls. They have two sealed boxes in the back that I may pick up later this week. I've never seen and CMF available in the local Wal-Marts.
  7. Gem + 1x1 round = really cool lantern/lamp.
  8. I hope there are molded parts with bricks like the Castle Fantasy Era and Ninjago dragons. Besides dinosaurs, I hope we get a sabertoothed tiger. I'd take Jurassic Park or cavemen style sets (with primative weapons!). I'm not much for realism for this theme because I don't expect it to be, and it's a toy meant to be fun.
  9. Also, is there a character progression chart/map/guide anywhere? I'd like to see how classes evolve.
  10. I had thought about being a cleric at first, but, at the beginning, it looked like there were a lot of clerics. Sandy - is it ok if I change characters?
  11. "Indeed I would. Mayhaps I may be able to learn something from your tale."
  12. How 'bout 78 x 103?
  13. How are people selected for quests? Updated my player avatar. I had the cellphone shot just as a place holder. Hopefully with this angle I can show the character change as he progresses levels. As soon as he gets picked for a quest...
  14. Hoke enters Heroica Hall and notices a few new faces. He makes his way to the Questboard, but sees no new postings. Disappointed but hopeful for the next round of quests, Hoke settles onto a stool next to Benji and strikes up a conversation. "Fair day to you. I am Hoke Ablesword. Are you a fellow advenutrer awaiting a quest or two?"
  15. After a morning a sword and shield drills, Hoke enters Heroica Hall in search or some cooling refreshments. He ascends the stairs to order a flagon.
  16. TRU had 45 packs today. Bought them all and went 19/19 with feel method. Got a full set plus an extra Gladiator and two extra Dwarfs. Only one Egyptian Queen and one Cavewoman, so no extra complete sets. Lots of extra Royal Guards and Boxers though.
  17. Well rested and filled with a good breakfast, Hoke watches the excitement grow as adventurers ready themselves for their quests. Hoke longs to join them but knows he must be patient. Not wanting to waste the day and to ease the disappointment of not being selected for a quest, Hoke exits Heroica Hall and journeys to the nearby woods for some peace and sword and shield drills. When he is selected for a quest, he will be ready. Hoke wishes those he passes on the way out a fair day with a smile and wave.
  18. Returning tired yet refreshed from his sword and shield drills, Hoke sees the looks of excitement and disappointment across Heroica Hall. He notices a general flow to and from the Questboard and makes his way over. His finger glides down the list of names written under each quests as he reads them silently. Not reading his own name, Hoke suppresses the rush of disappointed welling in his gut. "A true knight is not the master of his sword, but also of his emotions," he quietly breathes to himself. With a sharp inward breath, Hoke wheels about and congratulates those adventurers selected for the posted quests. "Congratulations my fellow adventurers. May your quest bring you honor and fortune." Hoke makes his way upstairs for a refreshing drink. He thanks the Heroica Hall proprietors for kindly guarding his gear which he retrieves from them. Tankard in hand, Hoke descends the staircase smiling courteously to those he passes. Settling on a low cushioned stool, Hoke looks forward to striking up a conversation with the fellow Heroica Hall patrons.
  19. Hoke completes the conversations he was having with fellow adventurers. He secures his gear with the Heroica Hall proprietors and makes his way outdoors to drill with his sword and shield.
  20. Hoke looks up from polishing his trusted long sword. A rough cut man clad in greens stands before him with a pleasant smile... "Fair evening to you good sir," replies Hoke to the ranger's greeting.
  21. Hoke returns from his trip to the Marketplace. He slides his pack off his back onto the worn wood floor and settles into a sturdy chair in the great room among the chatter, laughter and glow of the comfortable fire crackling in the massive hearth. Delectable scents escaping the settling kitchen fires mingle together with the lazy pipe smoke lingering in the air. He reaches down into his pack and checks over his supplies. Everything in order and set for adventure, a slight smile crease his face as Hoke retrieves a whetstone from his pouch and begins examining his trusted longsword for burrs and blemishes. He is eager to be selected for a quest.
  22. The game looked fun, so I decided to join up. This is my first game here on Eurobricks and also my first message board RPG. So, I made Hoke Ablesword. Hoke Ablesword has been a page and squire and wishes to join the knights in his house. Before he can receive his knighthood, he must distinguish himself among his peers and outside the walls of his home. His father has sent him off to earn his name with a sword, shield, padded armor and a few gold coins. I developed my character with the idea that he was just starting out. Being a new adventurer he wouldn't have huge armor, fancy surcoats and beefy swords, but rather humble attire that befits his experience. I want the character to visibly change over quests. Switching out his beginning torso with more armored looking torsos as he gains levels. Eventually he will acquire armor and maybe a helmet. I'll either pick out level benchmarks and/or use treasures acquired in quests to update the hero's image. Thanks Sandy and team for putting this game on.
  23. After a delicious meal in Heroica Hall, Hoke checks his supplies. Seeing he may be short an item or two, he counts his gold pieces and ventures into the Marketplace. Trying not to get lost in the sights, sounds and smells of the Marketplace, Hoke finds himself in front of Gnomeo's Toolshed. Hoke has found what he was looking for... "Fair day to you sir" "Nyeh! Hrmmph, eh, well, fair day to you as well," replies Gnomeo as he twitches his nose over his bristly beard. "A bedroll if you please. I shall surely require one on my quests." "Well, nyeh nyeh, that's why I carry them. Five gold pieces should set us square," says Gnomeo as he jabs out his stubby little hand with five wiggling chubby fingers. Hoke reaches into his pouch and produces five shining gold coins. Gnomeo eyes twinkle just a bit at the sight of the coins and then a smile spreads under his bristly beard when he feels the cool metal resting on his eager palm. Gnomeo quickly closes his pudgy hand around the coins and pulls a patchwork bedroll out of his inventory. "Thank you sir. May the sun shine on you." "Eh, er, nyeh, you as well." Gnomeo turns with hop and happily adds his five new shiny gold pieces to his hefty purse. Hoke slips off his pack and neatly rolls up his bedroll. The bedroll is soft and well made. It will serve him well on many adventures. He securely ties the patchwork bedroll to the top of his pack. Hoke slips his pack on and returns to Heroica Hall, waiting for his adventures to begin... Hoke spends five gold on a bedroll. His pouch now contains five gold coins.
  24. Hoke Abelsword enters Heroica Hall with a pleasant smile. He greets those he passes by on the way to the Questboard. He considers carefully each quest on the board. Hoke picks up the nearby quill, dips it into the ink vial and writes his name under Quest #1 and Quest #2. Hopeful to be selected, Hoke makes his way upstairs for a warm meal and a chance to hear tales of grand adventures. Hoke Ablesword signs up for Quest#1: Harvest Time and Quest #2: Looking Through the Wares.
  25. List updated! Looking for Series 5!
